Abstract

People activities have changed by the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak which continues to increase. The public's lack of understanding of the Covid-19 Virus and efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is the duty of educators to provide education to the people. In this article, the author describes people activities that have been carried out to increase public understanding about Covid-19. People activities carried out at the Rejosari Health Center, Tenayan Raya District used the method of distributing brochures, lectures, discussions and questions and answers. For the results of this people activity, the people has understood the efforts that can be taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19, one of which is by implementing health protocols. The implementation of this activity is also a form of support for the Pekanbaru mayor's regulation Number 104 of 2020 regarding guidelines for new productive and safe people's living behavior in preventing and controlling the 2019 corona virus disease. This activity can also increase public awareness in maintaining personal hygiene and the environment.

Abstract

In 2020 WHO gave the status that Corona Virus Disease -19 (COVID-19) became a Global Pandemic. Health workers who handle cases of COVID-19 are responsible for protecting themselves and others to break the chain of spread of COVID-19. One of the medical personnel involved in handling COVID-19 is a radiographer. The role of radiographers in handling COVID-19 in hospitals needs to be socialized more, considering its very important role in evaluating patient health and requiring radiographers to have direct contact with positive patients. For radiographers, the source of danger at work is not only COVID-19, but ionizing radiation is also a source of danger that must also be taken into account. The public must also be aware of the risks and challenges faced by radiographers in their work during this pandemic. The method used in this community service is by presentation or extension or education. This Community Service is carried out to introduce the role of radiographers in hospitals when there are patients with COVID-19 cases, so that these health workers can be more recognized by the general public. The target audience for this community service is SMA (High School) students with the aim of cultivating an interest in the younger generation to become radiographic health workers. As a result of this community service, participants were given knowledge about radiology, starting from workers (radiographers), the tools used to their role in the health world. The results of participants' understanding of Community Service activities, all participants understood the role of radiographers in treating COVID-19 patients in hospitals and 91% of participants understood what a radiographer was, and as many as 64% of participants were interested in becoming radiographers, and the remaining 36% of participants were not interested. be a radiographer. Community service activities regarding the role of radiographers in hospitals have been carried out well. Participants become more familiar with the duties of workers in the radiation field.

Abstract

In this COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesian people began to experience various impacts. One of the negative impacts is the decrease in the number of visits to health facilities, due to the fear of seeking treatment. In this article, the author describes community service activities that have been carried out to increase public understanding of the Tenayan Raya Health Center as a Level I Health Facility in Kulim, Pekanbaru. Community service activities carried out at the Cempaka Indah Posyandu in RW 001 Kulim used the lecture method and question and answer discussion. The result of this community service is to increase the knowledge of the RW 001 Kulim community about the health facilities in Kulim so that people can use their BPJS Health according to the tiered referral system.

Abstract

One of the clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) that has always been echoed for a long time to maintain personal health and hygiene is washing hands and brushing teeth. This behavior should become a very good habit, because in addition to maintaining health and cleanliness, religion also teaches it. The purpose of this outreach activity in general is so that all students in Kindergarten An Namiroh 6 Pekanbaru can know the benefits of washing hands and brushing teeth properly and correctly, because wishful thinking is a very powerful medium for transferring disease, because hands are used to hold objects. objects that we often do not know with certainty the cleanliness. Health promotion is an effort made so that children can help themselves to avoid disease. Health promotion is carried out so that those who do not know know, and those who do not want to be willing to wash their hands.Method In this health promotion using lecture method, demonstration of how to wash hands and brush teeth, and question and answer. The targets of this health promotion are children from An Namiroh Kindergarten 6. The results of this health promotion are 1. Abstract

Public speaking is one of the absolute abilities needed in the global 4.0 era, especially students. This is certainly triggered by the demands of the times and technology that exists today which forces individuals to be able to compete and improve their quality.. The purpose of this research activity is to help students improve their skills in public speaking, especially learning how to speak by influencing and motivating others in a professional context. This training is an effort to help students practice their skills in public speaking and also to improve the quality of their effective communication both for academic learning within the university and also for their preparation to be able to compete in the world of work in the future . The methods used in this training are lectures, demonstrations of ways how to influence and motivate others in a professional context and question and answer. The target of this training is students. Abstract

The problem of occupational safety and health in schools that continues to occur is the lack of guidance regarding steps that must be taken in the school environment to prevent work accidents and work-related diseases and increase the sharpness of elementary school students in recognizing dangers that may occur. Just as accidents and illnesses caused by certain activities can be reduced or prevented as soon as possible, disasters that occur in environments such as homes, schools and roads can be prevented as soon as possible. Potential danger of accidents at home, school and on the road. Abstract

Abstrak: Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) masih dianggap remeh oleh masyarakat. Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) bahkan dianggap sebagai pengganggu dalam bekerja. Kurangnya kesadaran dapat membahayakan diri pekerja, maka dari itu tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan K3 pada pekerja komunitas produksi batu bata khususnya di tenayan raya untuk meningkatkan tingkat kesadaran terhadap K3 guna meningkatkan safety awareness dan praktik keselamatan kerja. Dengan meningkatnya kesadaran terhadap K3 maka produktifitas batu bata juga akan meningkat yang berimbas pada peningkatan ekonomi komunitas. adapun mitra yang dipilih merupakan salah satu anggota UMKM pencetak batu bata yang berdomisili di Kecamatan Tenayan Raya . Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengadakan sosialisasi dan pendampigan kepada mitra. Tahapan kegiatan ini berjalan dengan 3 tahap, yakni (1) persiapan kegiatan; (2) pendampingan; dan (3) evaluasi, dengan melihat peningkatan pre-test dan post-test dari anggota mitra . Hasil dari kegiatan adalah semakin tingginya kesadaran yang dapat dilihat dari kenaikan kesadaran terhadap keselamatan sebesar 75% .dari pekerja untuk menggunakan APD dalam pekerjaan meskipun merasa tidak nyaman dalam bekerja, selain itu pekerja juga merasa lebih nyaman dalam bekerja sudah memahami segala risiko pada area bekerja dan tindakan pencegahan.Abstract: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Indonesia regarded as undervalue in occupation by workers. Therefore, the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) considered as an obstacle during works. This lack of awareness to safety will bring danger to the workers, therefore the objective of this community service was to introduced OSH to the Brick-Producer workers situated in Tenayan Raya, Riau to increase the workers’ awareness to OSH. The increase of awareness also followed by the increase of the collaborators’ economy activity. The chosen collaborator was a member of brick-producer community which domiciled in Tenaya Raya. This home industry have been established since 2020 and able to sold thousands of brick to their consumers. Despite all that, the collaborator have an issue in safety of production, thus the team assisted in solving the issue by metored to increase the OSH awareness in occupational area. The steps of this activity were run with three steps, which were (1) program preparations; (2) mentoring; (3) evaluation. The result of this program was the increased awareness of workers towards OSH even though most of them did.

Abstract

Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) adalah sistem berbasis komputer yang berfungsi sebagai penyimpanan, distribusi, dan tampilan elektronik dari gambar yang diperoleh mendukung diagnosis klinis. PACS berkembang tak hanya untuk melayani instalasi radiologi saja, namun menjadi sistem yang mampu melayani kebutuhan data pencitraan di beberapa bagian rumah sakit. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah Untuk mengetahui  gambaran penggunaan PACS pada Digital Radiography di Rumah Sakit Prima Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Instalasi Radiologi RS Prima Pekanbaru pada bulan Agustus. Prosedur penelitian ini dengan cara mengumpulkan data dengan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan sistem PACS yang digunakan adalah merk JiveX . Hasil pemeriksaan pasien akan terkirim ke semua ruangan poli yang ada di RS Prima Pekanbaru. Tidak hanya untuk poli saja, namun sistem PACS terdapat di IGD, ICU, OK. Sistem yang digunakan tidak menggunakan sistem komputer seperti pada ruangan radiografi, namun hanya menggunakan komputer LED. Kesimpulannya bahwa PACS sudah menjalankan perannya dalam proses akuisisi gambar. Dengan menggunakan PACS, hasil citra radiologi dapat dilihat dari berbagai unit yang memerlukan informasi klinis pasien.Kata Kunci: PACS; Radiograf; JiveXAbstract Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is a computer-based system that functions as storage, distribution, and electronic display of images obtained to support clinical diagnosis. PACS has developed not only to serve radiology installations but has become a system capable of serving another part of the hospital. The research aims to determine the description of PACS usage in the Radiology Facility at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at the Radiology Installation of Prima Pekanbaru Hospital in August 2023. The procedure for this research is to collect data by describing the research results. Based on the research results, shows that the PACS system used is the JiveX brand. The results of the patient's examination from the system were sent to all rooms at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital. Not only for polyclinics, but PACS systems are available in the ER, ICU, and OK. The system used does not use a computer system like in the radiography room but only uses an LED computer. The conclusion is that PACS has played its role in the image acquisition process. By using PACS, radiology image results can be viewed from various units that require patient clinical information.Keywords: PACS , Radiograph, JiveX.

Abstract

The increasing volume of plastic waste, particularly plastic bottles, is a significant environmental problem in many countries, including Indonesia. Lack of public awareness in recycling and inefficient waste management exacerbate this condition. Based on data from the Ministry of Environment in 2021-2023, the national waste composition is dominated by food waste with an average of 39% and plastic waste of 18% and the rest of the waste from metal, glass and tree branches. The existing waste management system is often ineffective in encouraging people to actively participate in recycling. One way to increase public participation in recycling is by incentivizing points that can be exchanged for prizes or discounts. However, the implementation of this system often faces technical and logistical obstacles, such as accurate and efficient identification and classification of bottles, so it is necessary to apply the integration of image processing and machine learning in the process of identifying and classifying bottle waste. From the modeling results, the machine learning model successfully identifies the type of bottle waste with an average accuracy 57,5 %.

Abstract

Gadget atau Handphone merupakan salah satu alat komunikasi yang canggih. Seiring berkembangnya zaman, setiap tipenya selalu mengalami pembaharuan guna menunjang segala aspek kegiatan manusia. Sedangkan rokok adalah gulungan tembakau (ukurannya kira-kira sebesar kelingking) yang berbalut daun nipah, kertas, atau bahan lainnya. Rokok mengandung zat adiktif yang bila digunakan dapat mengakibatkan bahaya kesehatan bagi individu dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hal ini, tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan bahaya radiasi gadget dan rokok bagi siswa/I SMK 1 Suliki dan melihat tingkat pemahaman terhadap bahaya-bahaya yang disampaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah bersifat penyuluhan dengan memberikan beberapa pertanyaan pre-test dan post-test setelah penyuluhan berakhir. Dari hasil pre-test dan post test kita mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap bahaya gadget dan rokok pada kesehatannya. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa/I SMKN 1 Suliki memahami bahaya gadget dan rokok terhadap kesehatan, maka dapat disimpulkan edukasi yang kami lakukan berjalan dengan semestinya.
