Abstract

Copper (Cu) is widely utilized as an electrode material due to its high conductivity and relatively low cost. This study aims to develop nanocomposite-modified Cu electrodes using polysulfone (PS), chitosan (CS), glutaraldehyde (GA), and zinc oxide (ZnO) to form PS-CS-GA/ZnO-NP modified Cu electrodes. The nanocomposite was prepared in the proportions of 48.8% PS, 24.4% CS, 24.4% ZnO, and 2.4% GA using the phase inversion method. The characterization of the PS-CS-GA/ZnO nanocomposite-modified Cu electrode was conducted using cyclic voltammetry with a 0.01 M K3[Fe(CN)6] in 0.1 M KCl. The cyclic voltammogram profile was obtained at a scan rate of 25 mV/s, exhibiting an ipa/ipc ratio of 0.93 within a potential of -1.5 to +0.4 V vs Ag/AgCl over 15 cycles. The FTIR spectrum of the PS-CS-GA/ZnO nanocomposite thin film displayed a peak at 1668 cm-1, indicating the presence of C=N groups, which suggests a cross-linking interaction between CS and GA.

Abstract

Biological facts have been mentioned in the Alquran, which was revealed over 1400 years ago and is proven correct by scientists today. This study focuses on implicit and explicit interpretations of human creation, biological development, and genetic concepts. By using a multidisciplinary approach that combines the maudhu'i method of interpretation, scientific and genetic approaches, as well as textual, intertextual, and contextual interpretation techniques. This study found a connection between Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) and the Alquran that is implied in the concept of “nutfah”. The analysis shows that the Alquran mentions various fluids involved in the fertilization process, including sperm, poured fluid, hated fluid, and mixed fluid. This research emphasizes the role of Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) as the “master key” that controls human physical and mental functions, and its interaction with the environment in activating certain genes. Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) is understood as the “blueprint of life” that stores biological information and plays an important role in the transmission of hereditary traits.

Abstract

Abstract : Research background reveals about speaking Arabic is important and must be mastered fluently by all students in Islamic Boarding School. This research aims at determining: 1) the planning of learning Arabic using role playing method at Islamic Boarding School Al Imam Wonogiri; 2) the implementation of learning  Arabic using role playing method at Islamic Boarding School Al Imam Wonogiri; 3) the evaluation of learning Arabic using role playing method at Islamic Boarding School Al Imam Wonogiri; 4) the development of learning Arabic using role playing method at Islamic Boarding School Al Imam Wonogiri.This research was descriptive qualitative. It was conducted at Islamic Boarding School of Al Iman Wonogiri. Informants of this research were Arabic teachers of Islamic Boarding School of Al Iman Wonogiri, especially 4th grades KMI and the Principal. Technique of collecting data used interview, observation, and documentation. Technique of data validity applied triangulation of source and method. Technique of data analysis used interactive model, including data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of this research show that: 1) the planning of learning Arabic is done by summarizing purpose and objective of learning, choosing and determining learning subject, and also determining learning source or learning media; 2) the implementation of learning Arabic using Role Playing covering: the teachers create a group to practice role playing, explain learning theme to play role, give chances for students to discuss, monitor the students playing role, appreciate and evaluate learning activities. However, the teachers must be competent in their field; 3) the evaluation of learning Arabic using Role Playing is based on the following criteria: ability in speaking, writing, and mastering language formula, vocabulary, grammar, dialect, fluent speaking, carefulness in speaking and writing. Abstract

This research aims to develop an instrument to improve conceptual understanding of number operation materials owned by prospective teachers at IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This research is a development research. The subjects in this study are students in the third semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Mathematics and Technology, as many as 20 students who were randomly selected. The main instrument is the researcher himself, while the supporting instruments are the task of number operation problems and interview guidelines. Data analysis is carried out descriptively on all data obtained. The results of the analysis show that the form and type of learning instrument that is suitable for improving students' conceptual ability, especially in the interpretation ability in number operation material, is a multiple-choice sample problem unit. Students' interpretation skills in number operations material are not good because they still have the opportunity to understand and apply the concept of operations on numbers. Learning instruments in the form of units of multiple-choice questions of the second type are practical to be applied with the aim of improving students' conceptual abilities, especially interpretation skills in number operation materials

Abstract

Degradasi amoksisilin (AMX) telah dipelajari melalui proses oksidasi elektrokimia di sel ruah menggunakan elektroda platina dan elektroda platina- dimodifikasi kobal sebagai anoda dan platina sebagai katoda. Proses degradasi AMX diselidiki dengan pengukuran HPLC. Oksidasi elektrokimia AMX menggunakan sel ruah skala laboratorium dengan penerapan tegangan 6 V, arus 1200 mA, dan volume larutan yang didegradasi 250 mL untuk konsentrasi awal AMX 1000 µM memberikan hasil yang cukup memuaskan, terutama untuk proses elektro-oksidasi sampel nyata limbah AMX menggunakan material anoda Platina-kobal dimediasi Co(III) dengan persen degradasi sebesar 99,03% selama 6 jam, anoda Platina-kobal(OH)2 sebesar 92,35% dan anoda Platina sebesar 76,91%. Ditemukan bahwa elektroda Platina-Kobal menunjukkan kemampuan mineralisasi yang baik dalam kondisi netral dalam larutan elektrolit Na2SO4 dengan penerapan tegangan oksidasi, waktu oksidasi dan variasi mediator. Abstract

Selektivitas merupakan karakter elektroda yang paling penting, karena elektroda yang selektif dapat dipakai untuk mengukur analit walaupun terdapat ion pengganggu. Tingkat selektivitas ditentukan oleh nilai tetapan selektivitas potensiometrik. Penelitian mempelajari kinerja elektroda selektif ion La(III) dengan 1-fenil-3-metil-4-benzoil-5-pirazolon (HPMBP) sebagai ionofor, polivinil klorida (PVC) sebagai pendukung, DOP sebagai pemlastis, aliquat-336 klorida sebagai sisi anionik dan THF sebagai pelarut. Faktor Nernst dari elektroda tersebut adalah 51,931 [Cl-] + 11,239 mV/dekade konsentrasi dan koefisen korelasi r = 0,991. Pengukuran tetapan selektivitas elektroda ESI- La(III) dengan cara match potential method (MPM) memberikan hasil bahwa ion-ion logam golongan alkali dan alkali tanah keberadaannya relatif tidak mengganggu pengukuran ion La3+, sementara golongan transisi dalam dan unsur transisi luar (lantanida dan aktinida) dengan keberadaannya sebagai garam nitrat sangat mengganggu pengukuran ion La3+.Kata Kunci: ESI, MPM, potensiometri, tetapan selektivitas
