Abstract

Digital Image Processing (DIP) is a scientific discipline that uses computer image processing techniques. The object of this research is keratitis on the cornea. The image of keratitis is obtained using a slit lamp at Padang Aye Center (PAC) Hospital, based on the results of the diagnosis, namely by looking at the development of the infiltrate or also called hypopyon, measuring the ulcer borders horizontally and vertically to evaluate improvement or response to the treatment given. The clinical results cannot determine the extent and circumference of the keratitis layer area that responds to treatment in the corneal area. The images used were 206 slit lamp images of keratitis. This research provides knowledge in the form of contrast values in the Active Contour method, resulting in an update called Active Contour Contrast Adjustment (ACCA) in correctly segmenting keratitis objects and providing measurements of the area and perimeter of the keratitis area. Overall. The research results from 206 slit lamp images, 195 slit lamp images of keratitis could detect keratitis correctly, and eleven slit lamp images of keratitis could not be detected, resulting in an accuracy of 94.66%. Meanwhile, the standard Active Contour accuracy was not detected at all or 100% undetected. Based on 11 images not detected using the (ACCA) method from 206 images, an accuracy of 5.33% was obtained. So, the results obtained are outstanding and can be used as a reference for medical personnel.

Abstract

In today's era, games are widely enjoyed by the Indonesian society, and one of them is simulation games. Simulation games have many advantages, including allowing players to experiment freely and encouraging them to learn. Therefore, the use of simulation games can be utilized as a training medium, such as leadership training. There are five levels of leadership based on The 5 Levels of Leadership: position, permission, production, people development, and pinnacle. Direct practice is necessary in training these levels of leadership through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in simulation games. One of the AIs used for this implementation is the Finite State Machine (FSM). FSM will be implemented in Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) to determine behavior that is adjusted to the 5 levels of leadership. There are three State Machines (SM) applied to NPCs: Core Game SM, Movement SM, and Status SM. The use of FSM in NPCs results in dynamic NPC behavior in terms of physical movement and changes in NPC status according to 5 Levels of Leadership

Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a serious complication of diabetes that can lead to blindness if not detected early. This research presents a novel method for the identification of DR using fundus images, employing the Watershed Algorithm for accurate image segmentation and the gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) for texture feature extraction. The image processing pipeline involves several stages, including grayscale conversion, noise reduction through Gaussian and median filters, and Otsu's thresholding to isolate key features such as retinal lesions. The watershed algorithm is applied to delineate the boundaries of abnormal regions, while the GLCM method extracts texture features like contrast, correlation, energy, and homogeneity, which are essential for diagnosing retinal abnormalities. The proposed approach demonstrates a high accuracy rate of 92%, successfully identifying abnormalities in 46 out of 50 fundus images. The method shows significant potential for enhancing early detection of DR, providing accurate segmentation and texture analysis, making it a valuable tool for medical professionals in diagnosing retinal diseases.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare requires hospitals to adopt efficient and integrated information systems. This research aims to analyze the influence of outpatient registration information system types—conventional, Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), and Mobile JKN—on recommendations to others using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and path analysis with SmartPLS. The study was conducted at Citra Husada Hospital Jember with 98 respondents selected through convenience sampling. The VSM results indicate that Mobile JKN has the shortest total service time (1 hour 32 minutes) and the highest efficiency value (8.6%). Statistical analysis shows that interaction with medical personnel, ease of access, ease of use, and data security significantly influence patient satisfaction. Medical information satisfaction and overall service quality are proven to be the main factors driving patient recommendations. Consequently, Mobile JKN is the most efficient registration system alternative and has the potential to improve hospital service quality. Optimization of system integration and user education is recommended to support digital-based healthcare service transformation.

Abstract

This study presents an innovative Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO)-enhanced hybrid deep learning model integrating Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM), and Transformer, combined with SHAP for interpretable stock price forecasting of TLKM.JK from July 29, 2024, to July 29, 2025. Addressing non-linear market dynamics, the model evaluates seven experimental cases, with the GWO-optimized configuration (Case 2) achieving superior performance, with a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 75.23, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 58.14, and Directional Accuracy (DA) of 76.2%, surpassing the baseline by 17.4% in RMSE and 8.1% in DA. Notably, Case 2 excels during the April 2025 surge (11.8% increase, MAE 53, DA 82%) and the high-volume day of May 28, 2025 (531,309,500 shares, MAE 48), leveraging Volume (SHAP 0.45) and RSI (0.28) as key predictors. With a 4-hour convergence time on an NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU, the model ensures computational efficiency and interpretability, making it a robust tool for traders. Despite limitations in single-stock focus and GPU dependency, this framework advances AI-driven financial forecasting by offering transparent, high-accuracy predictions, paving the way for multi-stock applications and real-time SHAP updates.
