Abstract

The image reconstruction for two-dimensional high-speed Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) has been successfully studied with multi-frequency current injection. The aim of this study is to get the best image reconstruction under the influence of multi-frequency current injection of this EIT system. In this method, we used current injection at 1 mA with varies of frequency in the range 10 to 50 kHz injected at the practical phantoms with 16 electrodes. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cylinder was put in the practical phantom as the anomaly. Then, The boundary voltage of the practical phantom was measured by the voltage measurement circuit. After that, it processed in the computer with Gauss-Newton Algorithm to got image reconstruction. The result showed that the best image reconstruction was achieved at 10 kHz of frequency current injection. The best image reconstruction had more accuracy of shape, position and electrical properties of an anomaly in boundary phantom than another image reconstruction result.

Abstract

In the research aims to analyzed feedback parameter on Self-Mixing Interferometry (SMI) signals. It is because the feedback parameter is one of the determined parameters in SMI vibration sensor research. The experimental apparatus consists of a laser diode as the light source, mirror as a target, collimator as light alignment, and PLX-DAQ as data acquisition executed by Arduino Uno. The principle of data retrieval with the manner of the light source is directed exactly perpendicular to the vibrating target, then reflected and arrested by the detector (photodiode) contained in the laser diode. Light arrested by the photodiode in the form of optical value then automatically converted into voltage value displayed on a personal computer (PC). This feedback on SMI is obtained by variation of the vibration frequency given to a target. The variation of vibration given is 10-100 Hz with 10 Hz increment and each frequency is taken 1000 data. Based on the research that has been done then results obtained at the frequency of 10-30 Hz feedback does not appear because the vibration small so that the vibration sensor is less than optimal. Feedbacks appear at frequencies 40 Hz and 50 Hz but are clearly visible at frequencies 50 Hz. While at 60-80 Hz frequency feedback begins to disappear. Abstract

Telah dilakukan eksperimen rancang bangun sistem sensor serat optik untuk mengukur ketinggian (Level) cairan secara kontinyu, memanfaatkan perubahan intensitas cahaya akibat perubahan indeks bias air dan udara yang terdeteksi pada ujung serat optik. Eksperimen menggunakan metode sederhana terdiri dari rangkaian pemancar berupa LED infra merah (880 nm). Serat optik moda jamak step indek dari bahan PPMA (Polymethyl Metacrylate), rangkaian penerima berupa fotodioda (OPT 101), multimeter digital dan PC. Jaket serat optik dikupas sepanjang 180 cm dan dibersihkan menggunakan larutan aseton, selanjutnya digunakan sebagai probe sensor berbentuk U dengan diameter lengkungan 28 cm. Data hasil eksperimen berupa grafik dan database dalam excel, menunjukkan performansi sensor mampu mendeteksi perubahan ketinggian dengan jangkauan 800 mm, daerah kerja sensor 80-490 mm, sensitivitas 1,5 μV/mm dan resolusi perubahan ketinggian setiap kenaikan 6 mm.

Abstract

Penelitian pendeteksian vibrasi akustik dari pola spekel pada sampel dental plaque biofilm yang merupakan studi in-vitro dental plaque biofilm telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode pencitraan akusto-optik, yaitu gabungan sistem akustik khususnya ultrasonik dengan sistem optik dalam satu perangkat, sehingga diperoleh pencitraan spekel. Pola spekel dianalisis menggunakan software imageJ akan diperolehkarakterisasi histogram distribusi intensitas gray level, dan didapatkan perubahan kontras spekel pada setiap pendeteksian vibrasi akustik oleh pengaruh frekuensi akustik dan pengamatan perubahan pembentukan sampel dental plaque biofilm. Untuk pengukuran ketebalan sampel, sebagai pembanding pengamatan kontras spekel digunakan CLSM yang dilengkapi AOTF. Diperoleh hasil pada sampel 2 jam dengan ketebalan 6 μm memiliki kontras spekel tinggi sebesar 0.592707 a.u, pada sampel 4 jam dengan ketebalan 7 μm memiliki kontras spekel sebesar 0.571257 a.u, dan pada sampel 6 jam dengan ketebalan 9 μm memiliki kontras spekel rendah sebesar 0.550700 a.u. Terjadi perubahan pada sampel dental plaque yang diperoleh dari rongga mulut, mulai dari tahap pemasangan awal plaque biofilm, sampai dengan pembentukan plaque biofilm dewasa.

Abstract

Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) merupakan sel surya tersensitisasi zat pewarna yang dibentuk dengan struktur sandwich dimana terdapat lima bagian antara lain: kaca ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) sebagai substrat; TiO2sebagai bahan semikonduktor; dye klorofil sebagai donor elektron; elektrolit sebagai transfer elektron. Serbuk TiO2 berukuran nanometer didapatkan melalui sintesis dengan metode kopresipitasi.Pengukuran dilakukan pada daya 100 mW/cm2. Hasil efisiensi DSSC menggunakan active carbon sebagai katalis pada elektroda pembanding menghasilkan prosentase yang lebih besar daripada black carbon dan grafit, yaitu 0,05% untuk active carbon, 0,032% untuk black carbon, 0,029% untuk grafit.ABSTRACTDye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is a dye sensitized solar cells are formed by a sandwich structure where there are five parts include: glass ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) as a substrate; TiO2 as a semiconductor material; chlorophyll dye as an electron donor; electrolyte as electron transfer. Nanometer-sized TiO2 powder obtained through synthesis by coprecipitation method. Measurements were taken at the power of 100 mW/cm2. The results of the efficiency of DSSC using active carbon as a catalyst in the reference electrode, produces a larger percentage than black carbon and graphite, which is of 0.05% for active carbon, black carbon to 0.032%, 0.029% for graphite.

Abstract

Breathing is an absolute human need. In an emergency, airway and breathing are the main problems that must be addressed immediately. Empirically, breathing techniques that people do in general are varied. Of all breathing patterns, it is believed that there must be the most optimal. One of them is diaphragmatic breathing (DB). DB plays the role of the diaphragm as the main muscle that performs the activity of inhaling and exhaling. Optimal breathing patterns, including certain DB, have the ability to relieve several medical problems. The aim of this study was to examine whether an optimal DB pattern could alleviate some medical problems. We conducted a literature study on 40 references consisting of 27 journals and 13 other appropriate literature sources. We searched library resources using the PubMed search engine through keywords: effectiveness of breathing, DB, and breathing exercises. Literature analysis was based on requirements, including inclusion and exclusion criteria. There were 26 journals which met the criteria. Optimal DB pattern can be a solution for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, chronic stroke, congestive heart failure (CHF), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), cerebral palsy (CP), labor pain management, and anxiety. It can be therapeutic to relieve some medical problems.

Abstract

THE ADVANCED ELECTRIC FIELD FROM QUAD-ELECTRODE MODE FOR BLOOD CANCER TRAPPING: SIMULATION STUDY. Blood cancer is a disease caused by the rapid cleavage of white blood cells (WBC), which increases in the human circulatory system. Furthermore, based on the original nature of WBC during cleavage, which is the same as ionic bonds, electric field filtering, and trapping is used to treat leukemia patients. The electric field generated by the electrode with an AC voltage source plays a role in the migration of the WBC to high electric field intensity. The Quad-electrode field distribution is conducted using the Finite Element Method (FEM), and an electric field gradient analysis is conducted to determine the effectiveness of each coordinate system. According to the simulation results, the second model with an input voltage of 0.68 V has the highest intensity of electric field distribution, with an effective depth at Z = 30 mm, and the best coordinate along the X-axis and Y-axis are 30 mm. In conclusion, the center of the Quad-electrode system center is the best location for placing filters and trapping leukocytes by utilizing electric field distribution on the electrode system for the development of blood cancer biomedical therapy technology.

Abstract

Electrical impedance tomography (EIT), as a non-ionizing tomography method, has been widely used in various fields of application, such as engineering and medical fields. This study applies an iterative process to reconstruct EIT images using the simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique (SART) algorithm combined with K-means clustering. The reconstruction started with defining the finite element method (FEM) model and filtering the measurement data with a Butterworth low-pass filter. The next step is solving the inverse problem in the EIT case with the SART algorithm. The results of the SART algorithm approach were classified using the K-means clustering and thresholding. The reconstruction results were evaluated with the peak signal noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity indices (SSIM), and normalized root mean square error (NRMSE). They were compared with the one-step gauss-newton (GN) and total variation regularization based on iteratively reweighted least-squares (TV-IRLS) methods. The evaluation shows that the average PSNR and SSIM of the proposed reconstruction method are the highest of the other methods, each being 24.24 and 0.94; meanwhile, the average NRMSE value is the lowest, which is 0.04. The performance evaluation also shows that the proposed method is faster than the other methods.

Abstract

Pendampingan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dimulai dengan pemetaan produk dan sosialalisasi Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal (SJPH) tahun 2021 berdasarkan hasil produksi dalam kategori risk dan non-risk. Kegiatan ini adalah bagian kegiatan masyarakat untuk pendampingan akses sertifikasi halal bagi UMKM Jawa Timur serta dokumen yang perlu disiapkan dalam rangka sertifikasi halal UMKM. Dari 319 jumlah responden dari workshop Jaminan Halal yang diselenggarakan Dinas KUKM Jawa Timur 2021, 17 peserta merupakan pelaku UMKM bidang kerajinan dan usaha lain (toko kelontong) dan 302 peserta merupakan pelaku UMKM bidang industri makanan dan minuman. 35,1% peserta pelatihan belum memiliki izin usaha apapun, yakni sebanyak 112 peserta.

Abstract

Sertifikasi halal self-declare merupakan wujud komitmen pemerintah yang dijabarkan oleh BPJH untuk memfasilitasi sertifikasi halal non-risk menjelang tahun 2024. Produk UMKM memiliki relatif sederhana terhadap bahan dan proses produksi, namun demikian pengolahan dan proses pembuatannya tetap rentan terhadap titik kritis yang tetap harus diberi penjelasan. Dari 20 pelaku UMKM peserta pendampingan dilakukan dengan cara tatap muka, wawancara secara langsung dan tidak langsung untuk mengetahui tentang pelaksanaan 1) kebijakan halal; 2) bahan dan melaksanakan prosedur terhadap bahan yang digunakan untuk produksi; 3) melaksanakan prosedur proses produk halal; 4) serta melaksanakan audit internal secara berkala. Tujuan pemantauan dan edukasi kepada UMKM ini adalah menguatkan dan memberikan penyuluhan terhadap 4 kriteria dokumen SJH yang diperlukan dalam mengurus sertifikasi halal tipe self-declare. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah agar jenis produk-produk UMKM ini dapat melakukan kesiapan secara berkelanjutan pre-sertifikasi sampai pasca-sertifikasi dalam melaksanakan tatacara melaksanakan prosedur halal untuk produk ini. Dari ananlisa faktual 3 UMKM telah mendapatkan sertifikasi halal, 6 UMKM telah kadaluarsa sertifikasi halalnya dengan masa sertifikat 2 tahun dan akan/sedang mengajukan sertifikasi halal self-declare, sedangkan 11 UMKM belum pernah mengajukan sertifikasi halal.
