Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi sekaligus meningkatnya kebutuhan akan informasi yang aktual dan nyata, aplikasi IoT pun terus dikembangkan dan menjadi marak di tengah masyarakat. Diperlukannya penelitian yang dapat mengevaluasi data stream yang telah ditangkap sensor dan mengidentifikasi penyimpangan data/concept drift. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dua kesimpulan, yaitu hasil pertama adalah pada tahapan evaluasi data, metode SGD Classifier yang memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi dibandingkan metode Hoeffding Tree dan Hoeffding Adaptive Tree pada setiap metrik. Hasil kedua adalah pada tahapan pengidentifikasian penyimpangan data/concept drift, metode Adaptive Windowing (ADWIN) lebih banyak mengidentifikasi penyimpangan data/concept drift dibandingkan dengan metode Page-Hinkley.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variable attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavior control on students' intentions to join Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) in private university, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). The MBKM program is expected to be able to bring private universities closer to the conditions of the Industrial World Business World to produce graduates who have the competencies according to the MBKM program offered. This study was conducted quantitatively on 379 UPH student respondents that has not joined MBKM program based on convenience sampling. Data processing was carried out with partial least squares using the Smart PLS program. The results show that attitude, subjective norms, and moral have a positive effect on students' intention to join MBKM program. The contribution of this research provides input for university administrators to know how to motivate students to have intention join MBKM program.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to show whether a super-linearity speedup can be or cannot be achieved within normal personal computer in university laboratory with an effort-less cluster, based on a pre-boot execution environment (PXE) operating system. Super-linearity is a case of speedup where the time execution ratio of sequential versus parallel is more than the number of computing node. We create the High Performance Computing cluster environment based on Bioinformatics Research Group High Performance Computing (birgHPC), a remake of PelicanHPC. The environment is limited to 32 regular personal computers as PXE computing nodes, Pentium4 3.2GHz CPU. The head-node is equipped in Pentium4 3.2 GHz CPU, 2.5 GB RAM, 80 GB hard-disk. Basic Local Search Tool (BLAST) and Message Passing Interface BLAST (mpiBLAST) problems are conducted, searching sequences in 8.9GB unformatted database, within several environment settings. The challenge is to beat 7+ hours of computing time in a single machine of BLAST problem. It is concluded that super-linearity is a rare case that can be shown in simple limited environment. Even the experiment environment is tweaked: downsize the computing node RAM and upsize the searching sequence such that the cache effect can be significant. Keywords: Super-Linearity, High Performance Computing, Bioinformatics, mpiBLAST

Abstract

AbstractIt is now important to implement TCP/IP version 6 protocol (IPv6) in the network. Regarding to depletion of IPv4 address, the migration to IPv6 is crucial because the address space is shrinking day by day. Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) has a wireless LAN network which has been operating. Wireless LAN network is used as a facility to access the internet. UPH has implemented virtual LAN technology to accomodate a large number of users. Due to inefficient topology, VLAN cannot work efficiently. Wireless LAN network changes are necessary to overcome this inefficiency. The new design of wireless LAN network also considers the implementation of IPv6. The purpose of this thesis is to design the topology of wireless LAN in IPv6 basis.IPv6 implementation process is elaborated through creating an environment called test-bed. Test-bed is a small environment of network for testing purposes. All implementation processes are tested in this environment. Some testings were done to know the operating system’s support, how much time is needed for host to get configuration and protocol testing.There are 3 conclusions that can be drawn from the experiments. The first conclusion is not all operating systems support IPv6 by default. The second conclusion is the time needed by the host to get IPv6 address is 194.76 milisecond at zero traffic and 328.13 milisecond at full traffic. The third conclusion is DHCPv6 relay agent is not necessary due to time delay. Abstract

This study aims to show the positive effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes, the positive influence of classroom management on learning outcomes, the positive influence of project based learning (PBL) implementation on learning outcomes in Civic Education lessons in class VIII SMPS Harvest Christian School Tangerang. The research method used is descriptive analysis method that involved the entire population, namely 26 respondents in class VIII SMPS Harvest Christian School Tangerang. Data was collected using a survey method in the form of a closed questionnaire and a test in the form of a rubric. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, with inferential statistics, and hypothesis testing using SmartPLS version 3.0. This study shows that (a) learning motivation has a positive effect on student learning outcomes; (b) classroom management has a positive effect on student learning outcomes; c) PBL implementation has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in Civic Education learning.

Abstract

The technology development and the growth of internet users are running very fast. The increase in internet users affects the shopping behavior of Indonesian consumers where everything is done digitally, such as online shopping for the fashion sector, specifically sneakers, so many online shops have emerged that sell sneakers. This study aims to analyze the effect of consumer decision-making style on consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention in purchasing sneakers online in Indonesia. In analyzing consumer decision-making style, a measurement instrument is used, namely consumer style inventory which has 8 variables and is used as an independent variable. Consumer satisfaction is used as the intervening variable and repurchase intention is the dependent variable. This study uses quantitative research methods with PLS-SEM data analysis. Respondents were collected by the accidental sampling of people on the big islands of Indonesia who had shopped for sneakers online. 196 respondents met the requirements using a questionnaire with a Linkert scale. The results show that habitual style, novelty style, recreational style, and perfectionist style positively influence consumer satisfaction. Brand consciousness style, price-conscious style, impulsiveness style, and confused by over choice style have no positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Meanwhile, consumer satisfaction has a dominant positive effect on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Each advertisement that is displayed has its own value (advertising value) for the audience which can be in the form of entertainment, informativeness, customization and irritation. With these four elements in an advertisement, it is hoped that the advertisement will further increase brand awareness and subscription intention. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the variables of entertainment, informativeness, customization and irritation, advertising value, brand awareness & subscription intention. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it is concluded that, first, entertainment has a positive influence on advertising value. Second, informativeness has a positive effect on advertising value. Third, customization has a positive effect on advertising value. Fourth, irritation does not have a significant negative effect on advertising value. Fifth, advertising value has a positive influence on subscription intention. Sixth, advertising value has a positive influence on brand awareness. Seventh, brand awareness has a positive influence on subscription intention.

Abstract

It is common that in a curriculum of field of study provides some electives subjects to be selected by their students. Some electives subjects are grouped into a major study. Universitas Pelita Harapan Informatics department offers three major studies. They are Software Engineering, Medical Informatics and Intelligent & Interactive Media. These majors are provided in order to fit interest of the students. Students must choose one major for persuing their degree after they finished the first two years studies. This paper discusses on how to implement the Support Vector machines technology for helping students in determining their major based on their academic records. The inputs of the system ere grades of the subjects of the first two years studied and the outputs is the GPA of the electives subjects for each major.

Abstract

Perubahan sistem pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang terus terjadi di masa pandemi Covid-19 menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pihak sekolah dan pendidik untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik terlibat (engage) di dalam proses pembelajaran, memiliki kemandirian belajar, dan penguasaan konsep yang baik, khususnya pada pelajaran Biologi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan di masa transisi pembelajaran online menuju pertemuan tatap muka terbatas adalah model blended learning tipe flipped classroom. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat keefektifan penerapan flipped classroom terhadap keterlibatan siswa, kemandirian belajar, dan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas IX pada pelajaran IPA dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan teknik pengambilan sampel convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) model pembelajaran blended learning tipe flipped classroom lebih efektif terhadap tingkat keterlibatan dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional, 2) model pembelajaran blended learning tipe flipped classroom lebih efektif terhadap kemandirian belajar dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, 3) model pembelajaran blended learning tipe flipped classroom tidak efektif terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Penggunaan media teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan sudah menjadi hal yang lumrah saat ini. Media teknologi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tentunya memiliki berbagai manfaat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah teknologi media khususnya dalam penggunaan MOOCs memiliki hubungan dengan kemampuan berpikir komputasional, literasi digital, dan efikasi diri guru. Subyek penelitian adalah 99 orang guru yang aktif dalam komunitas Pengajar Belajar yang memiliki MOOC bernama “KELAS by Pengajar Belajar”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Spearman's Rho dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir komputasional, literasi digital, dan efikasi diri guru berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan MOOCs.
