The high demand for competence in the world of the shipping industry today demands an increase in the skills of the Commercial Ship Engineering Study Program cadets, especially in the field of welding techniques. This indicates that Taruna's welding technique skills are still low. This Community Service Activity aims to improve welding technique skills and welding understanding for cadets. The Community Service Activity method uses the Competence-Based Training (CBT) Model, which combines theory, demonstration, and practicum. Evaluation is done by doing a pre-test, and post-test. CBT participants are 11th grade cadets of SMK Pelayaran Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta, with the expertise of Commercial Ship Engineering, with a total of 25 cadets. The results of the evaluation of Community Service were an increase of 60% in theory mastery, an increase of 64% in understanding demonstrations, and an increase of 84% in the skills of cadets in welding practice

Leadership adalah tentang sosok penentu yang dapat membuat orang lain terinspirasi untuk melakukan suatu pekerjaan dan memajukan suatu organisasi. Sekolah merupakan sebuah institusi lembaga terorganisasi yang didalamnya ada aktivitas pembelajaran dan tempat untuk belajar berorganisasi. OSIS merupakan salah satu wadah dalam organisasi siswa yang resmi berada pada sekolah tersebut dan tempat untuk belajar mengenai leadership. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini mempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan membuka wawasan baru tentang konsep digital leadership 4.0 bagi pengurus OSIS SMKN 2 Depok, Sleman. Metode Pelaksanaan PKM ini menggunakan metode pelatihan yang disertai dengan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah secara keseluruhan pengetahuan tentang konsep digital leadership 4.0 bagi pengurus OSIS SMKN 2 Depok mengalami kenaikan sebesar 57%, dengan rata-rata hasil pre-test sebesar 28% dan rata-rata hasil post-test sebesar 85%.

ABSTRAKTujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam penanggulangan risiko kebakaran di daerah pemukiman padat penduduk melalui pelatihan penggunaan alat pemadam api portable. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Nogotirto, Gamping, Sleman. Peserta Pelatihan ini berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui 5 tahap, yaitu (1) Pelaksanaan pretest; (2) Pemberian materi melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab; (3) Demonstrasi penggunaan alat pemadam api portable; (4) Praktik individu menggunakan alat pemadam api portable; (5) Pelaksanaan Posttest. Capaian peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat diukur menggunakan kuesioner pretest dan posttest, data diolah dan diuji dengan uji paired T-test. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam penanggulangan risiko kebakaran, disamping itu adanya perbedaan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan penanggulangan kebakaran sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan. Kata kunci: kebakaran; pelatihan; pemadam api; portable ABSTRACTThis service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in managing fire risks in densely populated residential areas through training in the use of portable fire extinguishers. This service was carried out in Nogotirto Village, Gamping, Sleman. The number of participants in this training is 20 people. Community service activities are carried out in 5 stages, namely (1) Pretest implementation; (2) Providing material using the method of lecture and question and answer; (3) Demonstration of the use of portable fire extinguishers; (4) Individual practice using portable fire extinguishers; (5) Implementation of Posttest. The achievement of increasing the knowledge and skills of the community was measured using a pretest and posttest questionnaire, the data was processed and tested using the paired T-test. The result of this service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of the community in managing fire risk in densely populated residential areas, in addition to that, there is a difference in the average level of knowledge and skills in fire management before and after the implementation of training activities. Pembilasan dengan minyak mentah pada kapal adalah sistim yang menggunakan Crude Oil atau minyak mentah sebagai medium pencuci. Sedangkan keuntungan menggunakan Crude Oil adalah sudah tersedia dikapal dengan cara resirkulasi, efektif untuk menghilangkan sediment dan sisa-sisa minyak yang melekat dalam tanki (good Carrier) dan dibongkar bersama-sama dengan muatan, tidak menimbulkan karat serta tidak ada kemungkinan emulsi air dan minyak jadi mengurangi bahaya pollusi. Semua pekerjaan pembilasan harus sudah selesai sebelum kapal meninggalkan pelabuhan bongkar muatan terakhir.Jika sampai dilaksanakan Crude Oil Washing antara dua pelabuhan bongkar pada tanki-tanki tersebut harus tetap kosong untuk pemeriksaan pada pelabuhan-pelabuhan berikutnya sebelum diisi dengan air balas. Keuntungan lain dari system ini adalah bahwa jumlah cargo yangdibongkar dari kapal jadi bertambah dibandingkan dengan jika tengker tersebut tidakmenggunakan system ini.

Laboratory or workshop management as a process that directs the stepsof each workshop user to always comply with the rules or regulationsapplicable in the workshop. Management in order to realize the common goal ofthe workshop is always in a clean, tidy, maintained and maintained condition.Laboratory management as a strategy to achieve laboratory objectivesthrough planning, organizing, mobilizing, using and monitoring all laboratoryresources to achieve goals optimally. When the vessel sails at the sea, it cannot avoid the obstacles for example accidents or other emergency situations. Emergency situation is the situation when the ship is suddenly in an accident and it needs fast, accurate and integrated deterrence actions. Those actions include: preparation, practical management on handling the accident, and the solid organization. The preparation consists of the steps needed to handle a certain situation based on the types of the accidents, the practical management of a certain accident must be applied or followed, and the solid organization must have a clear communication and responsibility lines. There are two types of accident management/emergency procedure, namely: internal/local procedure and general procedure. Internal/local procedure is the guideline for executing in each division/department, in terms that the emergency situation can be handled by related division/department itself without interference from other vessels or port. General procedure is the comprehensive guideline issued by the company and includes the massive level of emergency situation or at least the happened accident will endanger other vessels or terminal at the port, and in terms of handling it needs a lot of people or involving other vessel and the authority of the port

Research on cadets practicing objects is generally done visually, including the results of the practice of cadet welding at the Yogyakarta Maritime Academy, because the method is considered the most practical, but the method has not been able to reveal the quality of the results of the practice, especially related to mechanical properties and metal deposit. In connection with this, this study is to determine the quality of the results of the practice of arc welding, by doing tensile testing and macro testing. This research is a descriptive study with a research population of 40 objects from the practice of cadet arc welding, and a research sample of 50% of the population. Graduation of tensile testing, determined by comparing the tensile stress data. Minimum basic materials and welding materials. While the graduation of the macro test is determined by the presence or absence of defects in the metal deposit. The number of graduations from the two tests is published. In this study cadets can do the welding I connection with the results of fulfilling the graduation test requirement of 12 cadets or (60%), while cadets who can do welding I and T connections with the results of fulfilling the macro test graduation requirements, are as many as I connections 16 pieces (70%), while the T connection is 65%.

Crude Oil Washing System is a system that uses Crude Oil or crude oil as a washing medium. The cargo tanks are kept clean from the remnants of the crude oil load so that clean replacements can be loaded in the previously rinsed Tank by only making a little rinse first with water so that the effects of Pollution will be very limited. The pipes used which are connected to the loading pipes must be made of steel pipes or the like which have sufficient strength to withstand the required oil pressure, and must also be fixed (fixed) and strengthened properly. The Crude Oil Washing System must be installed permanently and completely separated from the other pipe systems except those connected to the pipe. Also the pipes must be equipped with a relief system to control the pressure in the pipe not to be excessive, the relief pipe system must be connected back to the suction part of the Supply Pump. While the benefits of using Crude Oil are already available on the ship by recirculation, effective for removing sediment and the remnants of oil attached to the tank (good carrier) and disassembled together with the load, do not cause rust and there is no possibility of water and oil emulsions to reduce the danger of pollution. All Crude Oil Washing work must be completed before the ship leaves the final unloading port. If until Crude Oil Washing is carried out between the two unloading ports in the tanks, it must remain empty for inspection at the following ports before being filled with ballast water.

ABSTRAKTujuan diselenggarakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan editing video berbasis aplikasi KineMaster selama pandemi Covid-19 dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru. PKM ini dilaksanakan di SMA IT Baitussalam, Prambanan, Yogyakarta dengan peserta sebanyak 16 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini adalah dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode PAR (Participatory Action Research) terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan (plan), tindakan (action), pengamatan (observe) dan refleksi (reflection). Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah dalam teknik penggunaan/ pengeporasian aplikasi KineMaster sebanyak 62.5% guru menyatakan mudah diterapkan dalam pembelajaran dan sebanyak 81,25% guru merasakan kemanfaatan dan mengalami peningkatan kompetensi digital. Kata kunci: kinemaster; kompetensi digital; video ABSTRACTThe purpose of this Community Service activity is to hold training on making learning videos by editing videos based on the KineMaster application during the Covid-19 pandemic in order to improve teacher digital competence. This Community Service was held at SMA IT Baitussalam, Prambanan, Yogyakarta with 16 participants. The method of implementing this Community Service activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The PAR (Participatory Action Research) method consists of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this Community Service activity are in the use/corporation technique of the KineMaster application as many as 62.5% of teachers stated that it was easy to apply in learning and as many as 81.25% of teachers felt the benefits and experienced an increase in digital competence. Kebakaran yang terjadi di Yogyakarta mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya naik ke tahun berikutnya, khususnya di daerah yang padat penduduknya serta pada wilayah atau daerah industri. Kebakaran merupakan hal yang sering terjadi, dan ini akan membahayakan serta mengancam keselamatan jiwa seseorang. Oleh karena itu sangat dibutuhkan sikap kesadaran serta kesiapan untuk menangani apabila terjadi kebakaran dan ini perlu peran serta dukungan baik oleh masyarakat itu sendiri maupun pemerintah setempat. Bertolak dari sering terjadinya bencana kebakaran tersebut sangat diperlukan suatu pelatihan perlindungan risiko kebakaran dengan pengenalan dan penggunaan APAR. Pelatihan yang dilakukan bertujuan agar masyarakat lebih mengetahui serta memahami bagaimana bila terjadi musibah kebakaran serta bagaimana penanggulangannya. Pelatihan dilakukan di Dusun Condong Catur, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta, karena wilayah ini sangat padat penduduknya dan riskan terjadi kebakaran, disamping itu dusun Condong Catur letaknya berdampingan dengan kota Yogyakarta yang penduduknya padat. Peserta berjumlah 30 orang. Dari hasil pelatihan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, diantaranya terjadi peningkatan pemahaman mengenai konsep segitiga api sebesar 90%, peningkatan pemahaman pengetahuan penggunaan APAR sebesar 87%, dan peningkatan konsep pemadaman tradisional mengalami peningkatan sebesar 83%. Kata kunci: APAR, Pelatihan, Kebakaran
