Abstract

Auxiliary boilers that have the function of producing hot steam are auxiliary steam boilers. The function of this steam is to heat the fresh water jacket cooling and fuel, drive the turbine pump, heat the liquid in the tank and room. This study aims to optimize the maintenance of auxiliary boiler systems, especially in the auxiliary steam boilers. This research was conducted in the engine room on the MT ship. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this study is the implementation of maintenance of auxiliary boiler components including: Boiler water; main burner; pilot burner; blower; and pumps. Overall, the average before optimizing maintenance, the effectiveness of the implementation of the planning maintenance system in auxiliary boilers was around 58.86%, and the average increased by 27.57% so that the average after optimization of maintenance with the guidelines for planning system maintenance became 86.43%. Auxiliary boiler system maintenance steam boiler In MT Tender Harmony can run optimally so that it can produce quality steam so that it can heat the fuel optimally.

Abstract

Improving the quality of Human Resources in the marine sector through the development of Vocational High Schools in the Maritime Sector still faces challenges. Link and match with industry have not happened thoroughly other than that educators are not adequate. Vocational High School teachers have not met the needs, so it is necessary to develop the management of Vocational High Schools in the maritime sector. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to conduct training to develop maritime school management to make vocational high schools in the maritime field a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Supporting the Learning Process. The method used in this service activity is training carried out with three kinds, namely: lecture method, discussion and question and answer method as well as an evaluation method. The results of the service show that with this training, the CoE of vocational education vocational schools that are increasingly relevant to the demands of community needs that are constantly changing according to the development of the business/industry world and can support the learning process regularly and continuously. The results of the training evaluation showed the enthusiasm and positive motivation of the trainees which was marked by the value of the evaluation results of the implementation of the training obtained an average score of excellent criteria of 79.33% and a good of 20.67%. After the training, it is hoped that training participants can hone their skills in developing maritime school management.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDengan adanya perbedaan latar belakang seperti pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, usia, pengalaman organisasi sebelumnya akan memunculkan mind set yang berbeda beda dalam berorganisasi khususnya saat pelaksanaan rapat masjid. Tujuan dari PKM ini adalah adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan dalam pelaksanaan organisasi takmir masjid pada proses pembuatan konsep draf rapat. Tempat pelaksanaan PKM yaitu Organisasi Takmir di Masjid Nurul Islam dusun Jetis Sinduadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pengabdian ini adalah pengamatan lingkungan, observasi organisasi takmir masjid, pengamatan metode yang digunakan dan pendampingan pembuatan konsep draf rapat. Hasil pengabdian Masyarakat diperoleh bahwa pendampingan pembuatan konsep draf rapat di organisasi Takmir Masjid Nurul Islam dilakukan dengan konsultasi dengan Ketua Takmir dengan maksud memberikan masukan atau teoritis agar memudahkan dalam melakukan pembuatan konsep draf rapat, sebanyak 88.88% menyatakan puas terhadap proses pendampingan dalam pelaksanaan organisasi takmir masjid pada proses pembuatan konsep draf rapat. Kata kunci: pendampingan; takmir masjid; draft rapat ABSTRACTWith differences in backgrounds such as education, work experience, age, previous organizational experience will bring up different mind sets in organization, especially during mosque meetings. The purpose of this Community Service is to assist in the implementation of the mosque takmir organization in the process of drafting a meeting draft. The place of implementation of Community Service is the administrator organization at the Nurul Islam Mosque, Jetis Sinduadi hamlet, Mlati, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The methods used in carrying out this service are environmental observation, observation of the mosque administrator organization, observation of the methods used and assistance in making meeting concepts. The results of community service were obtained that assistance in making meeting concepts in the administrator Nurul Islam Mosque organization was carried out in consultation with the Chairman of the administrator to provide input or theoretical to facilitate the creation of meeting concepts, as many as 88.88% expressed satisfaction with the mentoring process in the implementation of the mosque takmir organization in the process of drafting the meeting draft. Keywords: assistance; administrator mosque; meeting draft

Abstract

A compressor is one component of the working air system on board the ship which is related to carrying out smooth ship motion. Auxiliary aircraft two-level air compressors in operation on board ships for the start process of the main engine, generator, and bow thruster which are important parts in the ship, and also for the process of processing ship motion with ships using a pneumatic system gearbox. The purpose of this study was to optimize the maintenance of two-level air compressors on SV Ships. Stella 28. This research is a research with qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques are obtained through field research by combining observation, documentation, interview, and literature study methods. The result of this study is the optimization of maintenance and two-level air compressors on SV ships. Stella 28 at PT. Sowohi Kentiti JayA is good. Treatments carried out in SV. Stella 28 includes routine replacement of compressor LO according to the manual book, sediment water flushing in the air pipe and also on wind bottles, and checking the manometer and thermometer that have been done properly.

Abstract

Leadership adalah tentang sosok penentu yang dapat membuat orang lain terinspirasi untuk melakukan suatu pekerjaan dan memajukan suatu organisasi. Sekolah merupakan sebuah institusi lembaga terorganisasi yang didalamnya ada aktivitas pembelajaran dan tempat untuk belajar berorganisasi. OSIS merupakan salah satu wadah dalam organisasi siswa yang resmi berada pada sekolah tersebut dan tempat untuk belajar mengenai leadership. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini mempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan membuka wawasan baru tentang konsep digital leadership 4.0 bagi pengurus OSIS SMKN 2 Depok, Sleman. Metode Pelaksanaan PKM ini menggunakan metode pelatihan yang disertai dengan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah secara keseluruhan pengetahuan tentang konsep digital leadership 4.0 bagi pengurus OSIS SMKN 2 Depok mengalami kenaikan sebesar 57%, dengan rata-rata hasil pre-test sebesar 28% dan rata-rata hasil post-test sebesar 85%.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi sangat dibutuhkan karena dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah pekerjaan manusia akan tetapi tidak diimbangi dengan keterampilan dalam pengunaan teknologi. Hal ini dialami oleh guru-guru di SD IT dan PAUD IT Harapan Bunda terutama dalam pengolahan evaluasi hasil belajar siswa yang kesemuanya masih manual. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pendidik dalam penggunaan teknologi untuk mengoptimalkan pengolahan evaluasi hasil belajar siswa dengan teknik pendampingan adaptasi teknologi. Adapun metodologi pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan serta dilakukan evaluasi sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan program. Kegiatan PKM dapat terlaksana dengan baik dengan pemberian materi (25%) dan tutorial (75%). Sementara luaran yang dicapai pada kegiatan ini adalah rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan dalam pengolahan nilai evaluasi belajar siswa menyatakan sangat setuju sebesar 91.25%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning attitudes, learning knowledge and learning motivation on the Application of Occupational Health and Safety using path analysis. The method used in this study is the quantitative method with a correlational research type. The population in this study is cadets of the Ship Machinery Study Program, at Yogyakarta Maritime High School. Sample The selection of research samples is carried out using the saturated sampling method or census method, which is all members of the sample population. The data analysis method uses path analysis with the Smartpls3 SEM model. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant positive direct influence of learning attitudes on the learning motivation of cadets. Learning attitudes have a positive and significant effect on the Application of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Ship Machinery Laboratory. Furthermore, there is a significant positive direct influence of learning knowledge on the learning motivation of cadets. Learning knowledge has a positive and significant effect on the Application of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Ship Machinery Laboratory. Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on the Application of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Ship Machinery Laboratory.

Abstract

The Marching Line Regulation is an extracurricular activity to foster a sense of unity, responsibility and discipline in carrying out orders appropriately and quickly. The purpose of this community service is to instil the values of the discipline of student council members at Budi Utama Junior High School Yogyakarta against the rules and orders in the activities of the Marching Row Regulation. The method is used through the direct practice of Line-Marching. The process of instilling disciplinary values applied in UN activities is in the form of accuracy, obedience and compliance. The results of the assessment evaluation showed that the average assessment of the cultivation of disciplinary values obtained excellent criteria of 83% and good by 17%. The average results indicate the success of the implementation of training in the context of this community service.

Abstract

The use of social media in the digital era has a significant impact, both positive and negative, especially for the younger generation such as students. This research aims to increase digital literacy and awareness of social media ethics among students of SMA IT Baitussalam through community service programs. This activity was carried out with an interactive socialization method that involved the creation of visual-based educational materials, discussions, and simulations. The material covers the benefits of social media, potential negative impacts, and guidelines for wise and responsible use. The results of the service show an increase in students' understanding in filtering information, preventing the spread of hoaxes, and using social media productively. Observation and interviews supported positive behavior change among participants. The conclusion of this activity shows that the interactive education approach is effective in building digital literacy, so that it can be applied in other educational environments to equip the young generation with ethical and responsible social media skills.

Abstract

In the era of digitalizing, a leader is needed who can provide clear direction and goals and understand digital development technology. The development of digital-based information systems in the transportation sector will have an impact on reducing logistics costs. For this reason, digital-based leadership is needed in all sectors, including the maritime sector. The purpose of this community service is to conduct Indonesian maritime e-leadership training toward a digital-based marine transportation system. The purpose of this e-leadership training is to increase knowledge of leadership ethos, increase leadership talents and interests, increase leadership creativity and reasoning power, and cultivate the spirit of community insight. Community service model in the form of training and service to the community. The training was carried out online and was attended by 531 students divided into 4 sessions, session I as many as 178 students, session II as many as 122 cadets, session 3 as many as 102 and session 4 as many as 129 cadets. The results of the service obtained that the benefits of Indonesia's maritime e-leadership training towards a digital-based marine transportation system are an increase in knowledge of leadership ethos, an increase in leadership talents and interests, an increase in leadership creativity and reasoning power, and fostering a spirit of community insight with an average answer of 73.04%, agreeing by 22.79% and disagreeing by 4.17%.
