Abstract

The purpose of learning planning is to ensure that instruction is organised and carried out in a way that achieves the aims of the curriculum. Before settling on the Merdeka Curriculum, the Indonesian school system went through at least eleven curricula. An essential skill for any educator is the ability to craft lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum at any given time. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method using data from learning plan documents made by prospective biology teachers and analyzed by researchers based on the emergence of science process skills. The analysis process also uses the National Education Standard document on Merdeka Curriculum. The results of this study are: 1) lesson plans made based on the curriculum before K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum had around 8-15 pages, while the lesson plans based on the revised 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum were 1-1.5 pages. The material and evaluation of learning in the lesson plans for the revised K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum are provided using links or barcodes. 2) the discovery of process skills indicators in the form of basic process abilities and the ability to integrate processes into learning objectives. 3) lecture methods, online learning resources, and multiple choice questions are the most widely used in lesson plans. In the lesson plans analyzed, there has not been an explicit finding of product or project-based learning activities characteristic of the Merdeka Curriculum's learning process.

Abstract

Background: Content Representation (CoRe) adalah suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengakses pemahaman guru atau calon guru sains mengenai suatu konten atau materi. CoRe berisi uraian konsep-konsep atau materi yang penting dalam mengajarkan suatu topik tertentu. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan apa adanya, tidak dimodifikasi atau diberi perlakuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru biologi semester 6 di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Data berupa dokumen hasil penyusunan CoRe (Content Representation) yang dianalisis pada setiap ide besar dalam konsep genetika. Hasil: Secara umum calon guru biologi yang berada pada subjek penelitian kelompok atas, cenderung memiliki ide besar/big idea yang luas. Hal ini terlihat dari sebanyak 95% calon guru dapat menjabarkan jawaban dari setiap pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam CoRe, dibandingkan dengan calon guru biologi yang berada pada subjek penelitian kelompok sedang dan rendah hanya dapat menjabarkan CoRe sebanyak 50% - 75%.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the correlation between General Pedagogy Knowledge (GPK) and teaching practice with Self Efficacy of pre-service biology teachers. One of the most essential knowledge to provide pre-service biology teachers General Pedagogy Knowledge (GPK). This knowledge is a significant component of teacher knowledge. GPK will be reflected when pre-service biology teachers practice teaching in the classroom, and they will be supported by good Self Efficacy. In this research, self-efficacy is a pre-service biology teacher's beliefs in her ability to choose the right learning strategy when teaching practice (microteaching). The research used is the descriptive correlation method with a multiple regression approach. A total of 30 pre-service biology teachers were selected as the research sample used the purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used the RPP assessment rubric, teaching practice assessment rubric and self-efficacy questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 26. Based on the test results by comparing the value of r (table) using a 5% significance level of 0.453 and r (count) obtained 0.673, there is a significant correlation between General Pedagogy Knowledge and teaching practice with Self Efficacy of pre-service biology teachers. It can be concluded that mastery of General Pedagogy Knowledge and good teaching practices can increase the Self Efficacy of pre-service biology teachers.

Abstract

Materi fungi bersifat abstrak berpotensi menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fungi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2020 hingga Juli 2020. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA. Sampel yang diteliti berjumlah 47 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen soal sebanyak 41 soal pilihan ganda dan instrumen angket sebanyak 35 pertanyaan. Data dianalisis mengunakan uji validitas soal dan uji validitas angket. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara kuantitatif dengan Microsoft Excel. Uji validitas soal mendapatkan hasil bahwa pengetahuan konsep siswa terhadap materi fungi tergolong rendah. Uji validitas angket mendapatkan hasil bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar berasal dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Sub materi yang memiliki pengetahuan konsep yang paling rendah dan tingkat kesulitan belajar dengan kategori tinggi yaitu klasifikasi fungi dengan presentase (46%). Kesulitan belajar pada faktor internal yaitu pada minat, motivasi, kesiapan dan perhatian siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan sekolah, keluarga dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi fungi masih rendah terlihat dari penguasaan konsep dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the 21st-century life skills. The development of students’ creative thinking skills is important as a learning goal. However, learning in schools still tends to prioritize short-term learning outcomes on product dimensions only. The mind mapping method in blended learning activities with the help of Microsoft 365 provides space for students to develop their creativity. This study aims to develop students' creative thinking skills through the Microsoft 365-based mind mapping method. A total of 68 students from public high schools in Jakarta were sampled in this experimental study. The results showed that there was an increase in the indicators of students' creative thinking in the experimental class on indicators of originality of 70.3%, flexibility of 61.3%, fluency of 30%, and better than the control class. Microsoft 365-based mind mapping learning can be used as an alternative in creating a learning atmosphere that develops creative thinking skills because students have the authority to arrange concepts to be conveyed by choosing words that represent concepts, through colors and appropriate forms of symbols. with student creativity. Microsoft 365 has features that can facilitate interaction in class, as well as reach individual student needs through the personalized section in the one-note feature. Other features, such as Microsoft Sway, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft PowerPoint 365 provide full support for classroom learning interactions with the mind mapping method
