Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menghasilkan alat peraga energi terbarukan berbasis solar cell pada pembelajaran IPA yang valid. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Namun, penelitian ini dibatasai hingga tahap development untuk menentukan validitas isi dari alat peraga yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX dan guru IPA SMPN 4 Bengkulu Tengah. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket siswa, angket validasi ahli dan panduan wawancara guru. Teknik analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik persentase dan rumus Aiken’s V untuk mengukur validitas alat peraga yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan valid (layak) dengan nilai rata-rata indeks Aiken sebesar 0,98 yang telah melampaui standar batas minimal Aiken’ V untuk penelitian ini yaitu 0,92.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (a) mengidentifikasi tipe gaya belajar yang dominan dari 123 siswa-siswa  kelas X SMA Negeri Kota Bengkulu ditinjau dari jenis kelamin, dan (b) menentukan kecenderungan tipe gaya belajar siswa-siswa SMA Negeri Bengkulu ditinjau dari gaya belajar KOLB. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik convenient sampling. Instrumen utama untuk memperoleh data penelitian adalah (a) angket gaya belajar KOLB yang telah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia, dan (b) observasi kelas untuk mendukung data angket. Hasil analisis data angket gaya belajar menyatakan bahwa 123 siswa kelas X terdiri dari (a) 47 (38%) siswa dengan gaya belajar assimilator, (b) 26 (21%) siswa dengan gaya belajar converger, (c) 31 (25%) siswa dengan gaya diverger, dan (d) 19 (16%) siswa dengan gaya belajar accomodator. Gaya belajar siswa laki-laki dominan pada tipe diverger tetapi gaya belajar siswi perempuan lebih dominan pada tipe assimilator. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah guru perlu untuk mengetahui tipe gaya belajar yang dominan dari peserta didik sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan tipe gaya belajar dari siswa-siswanya.   Kata kunci : Gaya belajar Kolb, jenis kelamin, Siswa kelas X   ABSTRACT   The aims of this study are to (a) identify the dominant type of learning style of 123 class X students of Public High School in Bengkulu City in terms of gender, and (b) determine the preference of the learning style during physics learning in classroom. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative and the subjects were obtained by the convenience sampling technique; the main instrument to get the data for this study was the Indonesian version of Kolb Learning Style Inventory and the classroom observation to support the KLSI data. The results of data analyses reveal that (a) the dominant learning style of male students were diverger type but the assimilator type for the female students, (b) the preferred learning style are 38% students with the assimilator learning styles; 21% students with the convergent learning styles, 25%) students with the divergent style, and 16% students with the accommodator learning style. The implication of the findings of this study is that teachers need to know the preferred learning style of their students so that learning activities and the use of learning media are adapted to the type of student’s learning style.   Keywords: david kolb's learning style, descriptive reasearch

Abstract

This paper describes the process to obtain a mathematical model of a wall following robot. A mathematical modeling is carried out as an effort in determining Proportional, Integral, and Derivative (PID) controller parameters using analytic tuning. In this paper, the model approach used is Auto Regressive Exogenous (ARX). The ARX model is a model used to show the effect of control and disturbance on the output of the plant. The result of this research is a mathematical model of wall following robot which is then used to obtain PID controller parameters.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity of the MTs environmentally friendly technology practicum guidebook in the context of using solar cells that have been developed. The research method used is quantitative descriptive to determine the quality or suitability of the environmentally friendly technology practicum guidebook. This practical guidebook explains its feasibility through validity by experts and educators, as well as MTs teachers. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was analyzed using a Likert scale. The research results show that this practical guidebook is suitable for use with a result of 93.3, which is included in the appropriate category and can improve students' critical thinking by calculating using an N-gain of 0.83. Also, the teacher's response to the environmentally friendly technology practicum guidebook on the use of solar cells obtained a percentage of 91.50 in the almost complete category. Meanwhile, student responses obtained a percentage of 89.9 with almost all categories. In conclusion, the validation results that have been carried out on the environmentally friendly technology practicum guidebook on the use of solar cells have very feasible feasibility criteria. Also, students' critical thinking abilities after being given a practicum guidebook for environmentally friendly technology increased. Keywords: Practical Guidebook, Solar C

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah untuk memberikan motivasi bagi guru IPA dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis lingkungan melalui Ecovegefruit dan eksperimen dalam mengatasi permasalahan terkait terbatasnya alat dan bahan kegiatan praktikum IPA di sekolah. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga langkah, yakni: 1) Praktikum sederhana mengenai Ecoenzym, 2) Praktikum sederhana mengenai daya hantarb listrik oleh bahan Ecovegefruit, dan 3) menggali Respon siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Materi disampaikan melalui ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi dan Eksperimen sederhana. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 16 siswa di SMP N 8 Rejang Lebong. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di salah satu kelas VIII SMP N 8 Rejang Lebong. Instrumen yang digunakan antara lain Panduan praktikum dan angket respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah pembelajaran sains yang bermakna, berbasis fenomena, berwawasan lingkungan dan konservasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan dan sikap siswa dalam mempelajari sains. Pemanfaatan limbah sayur dan buah tentunya dapat dimanfaatkan baik sebagai cairan organik yang kaya manfaat (Ecoenzym) maupun sebagai sumber energi alternatif bio Energi listrik. Respon siswa selama mengikuti kegiatan menunjukkan sikap positif yang terlihat dari interaksi dan keaktifan siswa dalam mempraktikan maupun kreatifitas dalam menggunakan alat. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengemasan konten yang berbasis lingkungan dan konservasi dapat memberikan makna dan kebermanfaatan bagi siswa dalam belajar sains.

Abstract

[Implementation of Flood Mitigation E-Module to Improve The Junior High School Students' Environtment Literacy] This research’s purpose was to describe the differences of the students’ environment literacy before the students take part in learning using the flood disaster mitigation e-module and after they take part in learning using the flood disaster mitigation e-module. This research was conducted on 30 students of class VII at SMPN 2 Bengkulu using the one group pretest-posttest design method. The improvement of environment literacy is measured by giving the students a pretest-posttest. The pretest is carried out before learning using the flood disaster mitigation e-module to improve the students' environment literacy. Furthermore, after completing learning using the flood disaster mitigation e-module, the students were given a posttest. The students' environment literacy in this study covered three domains, namely knowledge, cognitive skills, and environmental care attitudes. The result of this research showed that there were differences in students' environment literacy before and after the students took part in learning with the flood disaster mitigation e-module, it can be seen from the overall environmental literacy N-Gain results of 0.6 in the medium criteria. Beside that, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, it was mean that there was a significant influence using the flood disaster mitigation e-module in increasing students' environmental literacy.

Abstract

Amorphophallus titanum is a rare plant with high economic potential. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of vegetative propagation of Amorphophallus titanum through stem cuttings by providing treatment with the addition of ecoenzyme composition. Four ecoenzyme treatments with variations in vegetable composition (100%) and fruit peels (0%, 50%, 75%) were applied to stem cuttings. The materials used in the manufacture of ecoenzymes must be fresh and have not rotted or indicated mold. Ecoenzymes that have been made and fermented for 3 months, then will be analyzed for macroelements Nitrogen (N), P (phosphorus), Potassium (K). The results showed that only treatment with a 100% vegetable composition was able to increase the percentage of plant survival by 80% after 8 weeks. These results indicate that the composition of ecoenzymes has a great influence on the growth of stem cuttings of Amorphophallus titanum. The composition of ecoenzymes containing fruit peels, both singly and in mixtures, has a negative effect on plant growth. Further research is needed to identify the active compounds in ecoenzymes that affect the growth  of Amorphophallus titanum.
