Abstract

The role of Muslim women is actually not just to demand equal rights, but to express the function of women who have meaning for development in the trajectory of Islamic history in the archipelago. The potential of women as human resources can be seen in efforts to include women's roles in the development process starting from upstream to downstream that are sustainable, humane, moderate, tolerant, straight as well as actions that prioritize efficiency. Excluding the role of women in the development process means a waste of resources and negatively affects the pace of growth and development on all fronts; religious, educational, social, and also economic. The role of women involves the role of tradition and transition, or we know it as domestic and public. Nyai Hamdanah is one of the female figures who has an important role in the history of Islam in the archipelago.  The role of Nyai Hamdanah in accompanying two pious and allamah husbands in service and da'wah can be used as a reference to give birth and produce strong and characterful sons and daughters of the nation's generation.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia dan moderat. Salah satu aspek pembelajaran yang penting adalah pembentukan sikap moderasi beragama. Moderasi beragama adalah sikap yang mampu mengintegrasikan ajaran agama dengan kondisi sosial yang ada, sehingga tidak menimbulkan ekstremisme dan intoleransi. Madrasah sebagai salah satu sekolah yang harus mampu mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dan capaian moderasi beragama. Program moderasi beragama yang telah dimasukkan dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020-2024 terus didorong oleh Pemerintah. Salah satu lembaga yang termasuk di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama RI adalah MAN 1 Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana implementasi dan pembetukan sikap moderasi beragama di MAN 1 Lamongan?. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran utuh impelementasi dan pembentukan moderasi beragama di lapangan. Adapun data di peroleh melalui wawancara. Subyek penelitian di MAN 1 Lamongan dan informan dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling, yakni guru PAI dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa impelementasi moderasi beragama dapat dilakukan dengan strategi, kokulikuler, ekstra kulikuler dan budaya sekolah. Adapun pembentukannya dapat dilakukan dengan mengadopsi teori internalisasi Thomas Lickona yang mencakup 3 tahap, yakni moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action.

Abstract

This study was aimed at determining the existence of prophetic learning to improve spiritual intelligence through the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program for grade 8 students at SMPN 1 Deket Lamongan. The method applied was a qualitative method with a natural setting, where the researcher conducted research in the field naturally which then produced several findings. First, the existence of prophetic learning included the values ​​of humanization, liberation, and transcendence, which was the implementation of attitudes to solve students’ moral degradation problem. Second, fostering spiritual intelligence by embedding prophetic characters through memorizing Al-Qur’an. Third, the tahfidzul Qur’an process program used talqin, tasmi’ and muroja’ah methods. Fourth, supporting factors included: competent teachers in the field of tahfidz Al-Qur’an, adequate facilities and infrastructure, motivational support and appreciation from all stakeholders in the school environment and tahfidz graduation. Inhibiting factors included; there were students that were unable to read Al-Qur’an, some never recite at home, some were lack motivation from parents and students’ lack of concentration because they often play online games. Novelty was also found that one of the students was classified as an inclusive student, so the approach in the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program was different from other students. Tahfidz teachers at SMPN 1 Deket never discriminated against their students. Inclusive students needed special attention and approach to repeat their memorization. From the experience of teachers who taught were by using methods of Tikrarul Mahfudz, Kitabul Mahfudz, and Isati’amul Mahfudz methods.

Abstract

This study discusses the spread of Islam in Java through the acculturation of local culture by Wali Songo. Wali Songo preaches peacefully and combines Islamic and Javanese culture, including through the art of wayang. They succeeded in spreading Islam by accommodating local culture without opposition. Gentle preaching methods and harmonious cultural adaptation have succeeded in embracing society and appreciating religious and cultural differences as riches in the Islamic tradition. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type of literature review research, two types of primary and secondary research data sources, using descriptive analytic data analysis techniques. The results of this study are that the Wali Songo strategically chose locations based on strong geostrategic considerations, and as a result, they managed to achieve significant changes in less than 100 years. They also showed respect for local culture at that time and succeeded in integrating Islamic sharia values with cultural arts such as wayang and macapat. The unique and distinctive approach that they employ in the da'wah method also contributes to the rapid acceptance of Islam by the Indonesian people, and as a result, this religion is increasingly spreading on the island of Java.

Abstract

The article entitled 'Aisyah Binti Abu Bakar Inspiration for Activists to Fight for Gender Equality and Women's Social Inclusion, represents the writer's anxiety. At least as follows; First, women cannot fully accept their existence if they hold positions as heads of agencies or institutions, whether owned by the government or private. Second, women are seen by some people as second-class human beings after men, so that their existence is often belittled and belittled. Third, women are seen as the property of men, so that their existence is under the control of men and seems underappreciated. Fourth, women's social environment is also limited, both in terms of places and people. For a number of concerns as described by the author above, it is an attraction and concern for conducting a study with a literature approach. While the method used is library research, which is qualitative in nature. While the results to be achieved from this study are; First, it can explore the reasons why women experience not being fully accepted as leaders, the reasons why women are seen as second-class human beings after men, the reasons women are seen as the property of men, the reasons women's association is limited. Second, it can reveal the issues and strategies of activists in the struggle for gender equality and women's social inclusion. Third, reveal the aspects contained in 'Aisyah Binti Abu Bakar which can be used as inspiration for the movement for gender equality and women's social inclusion. Finally came to a conclusion; First, that there are a number of reasons why women experience rejection as leaders, are seen as second-class human beings, their existence is the property of men, their association is restricted. Second, there are issues at play, including strategies in fighting for gender equality and women's social inclusion. Third, that 'Aisyah Binti Abu Bakar can be used as a model and inspiration for the movement for gender equality and women's social inclusion.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the holy book of the noble Muslims, reading it will get a reward especially those who memorize it, many memorize the Qur'an but there must be someone who guides, fosters. The purpose of this service activity is to foster students carried out by the ustadzah to make their students become hafidz quran at Griya Tahfidz Nurul Quran Tlogoanyar Lamongan district which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The method used is using a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The final result of this activity is to show that the development of Nurul Quran students in Tlogoanyar Lamongan to become memorizers of the Koran by fostering the enthusiasm of the students to memorize, study, study the Koran, has proven to have been done very well so as to make the students as hafidzul qur'an, in addition to having good memorization quality, but also qur'ani morals.

Abstract

The birth of efforts to build the integration of science and religion at SD NU Banat-Banin Lamongan is inseparable from the phenomenon of general scientific and religious dichotomy. SD NU Banat Banin is a public educational institution with religious nuances. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature and field study. The results of this study, First; that there are 6 Morphology of palm Ilmu SD NU Banat Banin Lamongan, namely; Palm Roots (Aqidah/ideology), Palm Stems (Taqwa & Akhalakul Karimah), Palm Seeds (Students' Soul Burning), Palm Flowers (Character Education of Daily Attitudes), Palm Fruits (Achievements), and Palm Leaves (General et al.). Second, through the metaphor of the palm of knowledge, there are characteristics of the school, namely; 1). Planting Aqidah Ahlus sunnah wal jama'ah becomes the foundation of student character, 2) Apart from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, the Yellow Book is a learning reference for students, 3) Formation of the character of the soul of students, 4) Expanding Islamic studies and avoiding dichotomies of knowledge. Learning the integration of knowledge, which in essence is to integrate the curriculum, so that the integration of general knowledge and religion as described in the 'palm Ilmu Banat-Banin' is also part of the school curriculum. This integration of knowledge has areas for improvement in its philosophy. In contrast, the curriculum conceptualized on the morphology of the palm of knowledge still needs to be categorized as the Islamisation of science.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the resilience strategies of Islamic Education teachers in facing religious diversity at SMPN 1 Lamongan. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews with two students and one Islamic Education teacher, as well as observations. The data analysis technique follows Creswell’s thematic analysis, which includes organizing data, coding, identifying code patterns, classifying, interpreting, and presenting data. The study ensures credibility through data triangulation. The findings indicate that the main challenge faced is the imbalance in the number of majority and minority religious students, which is addressed through classroom clustering. Although this approach poses a risk of segregation, the school principal mitigates it through various policies, such as (1) scripture memorization programs, (2) religious study forums, and (3) student involvement in academic, non-academic, and religious activities. Islamic Education teachers demonstrate resilience strategies, including emotional regulation and impulse control, self-efficacy, and optimism.
