Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand how is the implication of religious tolerance and nationalism values applied by each Islamic boarding school. This study was conducted in Islamic boarding schools in Lamongan, which were: IBS of Islam Al-Islam, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, IBS of Sunan Drajat, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah. This study applied a qualitative method, interpreted with a phenomenology approach. The techniques of data collection were through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study showed the implication of religious tolerance in IBS of Islam Al-Islam, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, IBS of Sunan Drajat, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah possessed the values of acceptance, respect, patience, freedom and cooperation. Meanwhile, differences were found dealing with nationalism values. The IBS of Islam Al-Islam merely possessed the value of respect, though IBS of Sunan Drajat, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah possessed the values of self-sacrifice, unity, respect, cooperation, and value of pride of being nation. The findings of this study also led to understanding and implementing the values taught through the spirit of jihad for religion and nation, which was based on the concept of ‘Jihad Kebhinekaan’ synergizing between theories and research findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan tugas akhir yang harus diselesaikan oleh mahasiswa pada jenjang pendidikan Strata-1 (S-1). Penyelesaian skripsi dari mahasiswa dilakukan melalui layanan bimbingan skripsi dengan dibimbing oleh dua orang dosen pembimbing skripsi. Namun, dengan adanya serangan dari virus corona, maka terpaksa mahasiswa melakukan bimbingan skripsi secara online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa mengenai layanan bimbingan skripsi online. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah lima belas orang mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Kemudian, teknik analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa mengenai layanan bimbingan skripsi online secara sebagian besar bernilai negatif baik pada persepsi mahasiswa kesediaan waktu layanan bimbingan skripsi online, rentang waktu pemberian perbaikan (rentang waktu dari skripsi dikumpul sampai skripsi selesai dikoreksi) oleh dosen pembimbing kepada mahasiswa dalam layanan bimbingan skripsi online, pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap isi skripsi dari hasil feed back dosen pembimbing melalui bimbingan skripsi online, serta komunikasi yang terjadi antara dosen dan mahasiswa dalam layanan bimbingan skripsi online.

Abstract

The question that always arises like a religious organization is how the religious social organization itself actually possesses and at the same time develops a formidable force in order to always adapt to the demands of this progressive and rational era. As a system, organizations including religious social organizations are always challenged both internally and externally. The organization will continue to grow strong or firm if it still has a source of driving force in the form of a clear vision, mission, or vision for the future. In addition, it remains strong if able to solve various challenges that come from within and from outside itself. Pertanyaan yang selalu muncul seputer organisasi keagamaan adalah bagaimana sesungguhnya organisasi sosial keagamaan itu sendiri memiliki dan sekaligus mengembangkan kekuatan yang tangguh agar selalu dapat menyesuaikan dengan tuntutan zaman yang semakin maju dan rasional ini. Sebagai sebuah sistem, berbagai organisasi termasuk organisasi sosial keagamaan selalu memperoleh tantangan baik yang datang dari internal maupun eksternal. Organisasi akan tetap tumbuh kuat atau kukuh jika tetap memiliki sumber kekuatan penggerak berupa cita-cita, misi, atau visi yangjelas ke depan. Selain itu, ia tetap kuat jika mampu menyelesaikan berbagai tantangan yang datang dari dalam maupun dari luar itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study regards the implementation of the educational values of religious tolerance and nationalism in IBS of Islam Al-Islam, IBS of Karangasem Muhammadiyah, IBS of Sunan Drajat, and IBS of Modern Muhammadiyah Lamongan. This study applied a qualitative approach, interpreted with phenomenology approach, and natural setting method. The techniques of data collection were through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the technique of data collection were through data obtained analysis, data condensation, data grouping and verification. Furthermore, the validity of the findings used a focus group discussion (FGD) to test the validity of the research data. The results of the study included the implementation of educational values of religious tolerance through the role of Kyai, habituation and Islamic boarding school’s learning. While the implementation of nationalism values was through formal learning, extra-curricular, organization, speech, mutual cooperation, ceremonies and PHBN (Memorial of The National Day).

Abstract

This study examines the modernization of Islamic education management by Kiai at Senior High School Trensains Tebuireng, utilizing a qualitative case study approach. Methods of data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis employs reduction, presentation, and conclusion verification techniques. The findings reveal that updates to the Islamic boarding school's management by Kiai are systematic, incremental, open, and ongoing across various components. These updates include the unification of curricula, the adoption of a recruitment system based on competence and ethics, enhancements to student selection processes, the introduction of collaborative learning, the assurance of minimum government infrastructure standards, the expansion of fundraising avenues, and the establishment of bidirectional communication with the community. These reforms have positively influenced the school's reputation and the competence of its students.

Abstract

Islamic higher education in Indonesia is very fast. However, this fame must be balanced not only in quantity, but in quality. The aim of the research is to find out the strategy for developing Islamic higher education in the 5.0 era. This study uses a methodological literature review with a descriptive approach to find sources and explore this research. The results of this investigation show that: 1) Improving the quality of education must go beyond institutional standards. 2) Interesting educational innovations. 3) Good organizational management by leaders.

Abstract

Educational institutions, both existing and newly established, require organizational change/development studies that are relevant to maintaining their existence. There is cross-role (interplay) between individuals as part of society and organizations, organizations as part of society, and society itself as a formation of various 'organizational backgrounds. So that changes in society demand organizational changes, including educational organizations. Change will not occur unless the need for change is critical. Organizational change is a change related to development, as well as improvements, and adjustments that include the structure, technology, work methods, and management system of an organization. the study of problematic Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia divides into three perspectives: ontological, epistemological, and axiological. In this reality, it becomes important to examine the urgency of organizational change management of Islamic educational institutions as a comprehensive study so that they are able to answer the challenges of the times and make the best possible utilization of their organizational potential. In this research, the author uses a content analysis approach model. This study's data sources include journals, papers, and books about literacy about change management, organizational behavior, and Islamic educational institutions

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan perkembangan industri meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan kejuruan, khususnya SMK, dalam mempersiapkan tenaga kerja kompeten. Namun, tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK di Indonesia masih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal (minat dan bakat) dan eksternal (kondisi sosial ekonomi, dukungan keluarga, dan lingkungan) terhadap keputusan bekerja siswa rumpun TI di SMKN 4 Malang. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode Generalized Linear Model (GLM), data dikumpulkan dari 124 responden melalui kuesioner yang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan bekerja (p < 0,05) dengan koefisien determinasi 34.30%, sementara faktor internal tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan (p > 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan eksternal dalam keputusan bekerja siswa, sehingga strategi pendidikan perlu berfokus pada penguatan akses informasi karier, keterlibatan keluarga, dan pengembangan lingkungan yang mendukung.

Abstract

Social studies teachers need to use the correct method approach. Learning activities also do not utilize technology, so students need help learning. Based on this, this study aims to develop social studies learning through Google sites and bright boxes as learning media. This study uses the research and development (R&D) type, using the ADDIE development model. The study subjects were material experts, learning design experts, and learning media experts. The subjects of the trial study were 33 students of SMP Negeri 12 Malang. The methods used to collect data were interviews, questionnaires, observations, tests, and documentation. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaire sheets and test questions. The techniques used to analyze the data were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The study's results showed that, First, the design of social studies learning development products through supporting applications such as (Canva, Capcut, Wordwall, and Google Sites). The assessment of the material expert validator was 83.0%. The evaluation of the learning design expert validator was 83.0%. The assessment of the learning media expert validator was 83.3%. Third, the practicality of the design of the IPS learning product after being implemented in students obtained the highest value of 62.0%, with the category of Very Appropriate. The teacher's response received a percentage of 4.7%, Very Practical. It was concluded that developing IPS learning through Google Sites and Smart Boxes was proven very effective and running optimally. This research implies that social studies learning through google sites and smart boxes can be used to help students learn.

Abstract

According to 'Undang-Undang Sisdiknas' no. 2Q of the year 2003, both the position and the status of Madrasah are on a par with the public school. Most people, however, still regard Madrasah as "second class" when seen from such aspects as: graduate prospects, school facilities; school buildings, students' as well as teachers' performances, management of the school, and cooperation with other institutions and stakeholders. Muslim society and the government, in this case, the Department of Religious Affairs, have come to realize these unfavorable situations, so that some efforts have been made to build a better condition of Madrasah. The Department ofReligious Affairs has been trying to improve Madrasah by developing some strategies through the establishment of Madrasah Unggulan (Khusus), Madrasah Terpadu, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Terbuka, Madrasah Aliyah Program Keterampilan, and Madrasah Aliyah Keagamaan (MAK). The questions are: Will Madrasah be a progressive, modern, and reliable Islamic institution? Meanwhile, in the Muslim society, the current image is that Madrasah is an educational institution that has Islamic, Muslim and Islamic educational identities. Will the change imposed on Madrasah institution have some impact on its identity? This article is an attempt to answer these questions.
