Abstract

This article aims to identify and describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of online learning on Aqidah Akhlak subjects at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Palembang. This article uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Researchers' data collection techniques are by conducting participant observation, documentation, and interviews. This study's data sources include the vice-chairman of the madrasa curriculum, teaching teachers of moral aqidah subjects, and several students involved in research on online learning of moral aqidah subjects. The results of the discussion of this article are 1) Online learning planning using the 2013 curriculum and preparing lesson plans (RPP) with online designs. 2) Implementation of online learning, educators emphasise using exciting learning media such as video displays and power points related to learning materials. There are sharing activities carried out after learning takes place, 3) Evaluation of online learning is carried out based on taking daily test scores, semester exams, and assessment of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang ada di Amerika sehingga membawa kontribusi bagi kurikulum yang ada di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan kajian pustaka untuk mendapatkan data yang terkait agar bisa dapat terpercaya. Akan tetapi dalam pengambilan sumber referensi banyak dari internet. Hal ini disebabkan sejauh ini artikel maupun buku yang membahas kurikulum di berbagai negara termasuk Amerika sangat jarang atau boleh dikatakan langka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Amerika terkenal dengan sistem desentralisasi yang semuanya diserahkan oleh negara melalui bagian wilayahnya masing-masing. Sementara kurikulum yang masuk di Amerika mempunyai dua tujuan; Pertama mengenalkan ajaran Islam; Kedua, pemerintah Amerika sendiri memberi izin untuk masuknya kurikulum yang berlabelkan Islam dengan tujuan untuk memberitahukan kepada masyarakat Amerika, bahwa Islam yang identik dengan anti kekerasan adalah tidak benar. Adapun hal yang perlu diterapkan di Indonesia adalah dari tenaga pendidiknya yang mendapatkan lisensi dengan jangka waktu terbatas selama lima tahun. Jika lisensi itu habis, maka akan diperbaharui lagi melalui ujian kembali sehingga jika dilihat dari sekilas, bahwa guru-guru Amerika memang dikatakan sebagai guru yang profesional.

Abstract

The influence of hedonistic culture has led to a character crisis in various societies in the archipelago. Local wisdom with plurality, tolerance, and mutual cooperation, seems to be the anti-thesis of a hedonistic life. From here, various thoughts emerge about the importance of fostering character education based on local wisdom in Islamic education institutions. With an ethnographic approach, this study explores the application of character building efforts in madrasas in Sambas which are based on local cultural elements. The results showed that the use of 'Teluk belanga' and kurung clothes contributed to the formation of Islamic behavior, social life, and respect for local culture.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted in the Yogyakarta Kindergartens State Kindergarten which aims to find out, among others, First, an overview of the leadership style of the Yogyakarta Kindergarten State Schools, Second, the factors that lead to the subject's leadership, Third, how to develop the subject's leadership style. Based on the results of research conducted by interview and observation methods, the leadership style obtained at the Headmaster of Yogyakarta State Kindergarten is the executive leadership style. Where have the characteristics of giving high spirits to subordinates with high moral example, maintaining others in accordance with their respective characteristics and view people as coworkers and more importantly is able to establish good relationships with new people and view conflict as a matter of reasonable. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui, diantaranya., Pertama, gambaran gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah TK Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta, Kedua, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan Kepemimpinan subjek, Ketiga, cara mengembangkan gaya kepemimpinan subjek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan observasi, maka diperoleh gaya kepemimpinan pada kepala sekolah TK Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta adalah gaya kepemimpinan executive. Dimana memiliki ciri-ciri memberikan semangat yang tinggi kepada bawahan dengan contoh moral yang tinggi, mempertahankan orang lain sesuai dengan sifat masing-masing dan memandang orang sebagai teman kerja dan yang lebih penting adalah dapat menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan orang baru dan memandang konflik sebagai hal yang wajar.

Abstract

This artilce aimed to analyze of hisotorical Islamic education curriculum in Brunei. This method used field of study or literature. The result showed that Firstly, after Islam came to Brunei, the education system was more in the direction of printing scholars. Secondly, after the arrival of invaders in Brunei, Islamic religious education has experienced dualism, but the curriculum from the Britain has not received a warm welcome. Thirdly, Brunei's independence was inseparable from the role of Britain, so education in Brunei was inseparable from the influence of the educational curriculum of the British nation. Abstract

Pantun adalah kategori puisi lama yang sampai saat ini belum ditemukan siapa pembuatnya. Sejak dahulu hingga sekarang, pantun selalu digunakan oleh Suku Melayu dalam berbagai upacara sehingga pantun menjadi ciri khas utama bagi Suku Melayu. Bagi Melayu Sambas, pantun bukan hanya sebuah tradisi tetapi sekaligus adat istiadat perkawinan untuk menyampaikan pesan bagi kedua pasangan dalam kehidupan rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang budaya berbalas pantun yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Melayu Sambas dalam menyampaikan nasehat perkawinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Library Research. Berdasarkan analisa disimpulkan bahwa sejak dahulu hingga sekarang pantun sudah menjadi tradisi dalam upacara perkawinan Melayu Sambas. Penggunaan pantun dalam adat istiadat perkawinan Melayu Sambas adalah sebagai media penyampaian nasehat dan petuah bagi mempelai dalam menjalani kehidupan berumah tangga. Selain itu pesan yang disampaikan melalui pantun juga bertujuan untuk pewarisan nilai luhur yang dianut oleh Melayu Sambas secara turun temurun.

Abstract

This study discussed inquiry-based learning activities in reading skills training students in Madrasah Ibtidayah and elementary schools in Indonesia. In learning to understand according to Islam, reading skills receive special attention from other skills such as speaking, listening, and writing skills. Get an understanding and application of strengthening reading learning that can be started from the elementary school level, and this theme will be discussed with the literature review method from national and international journal publications. A descriptive qualitative design study will be a method of analyzing a series of data. The review process involves a phenomenological approach, coding systems, and critical evaluation to produce data findings to answer our research themes that meet the findings' validity and reliability. Finally, we can conclude our findings, among others, that the ten publications and literature have confirmed that the application of inquiry-based learning approaches is very relevant to be applied in the learning environment of elementary madrasah schools. Abstract

Local wisdom is a cultural treasure owned by many ethnic groups in Indonesia today. Local wisdom is a shared value stemmed from society’s culture and used as a tool to control people in the community. Of many local wisdoms, Malay ethnic group has a unique prohibition or taboo, so-called pantang larang in Malay language. This culture constitutes as an ancestral heritage which is almost forgotten. It does not receive much attention from the society, including young generations who live in digital era. One of the possible reason is because parents do not tell local stories and advices. Consequently, the younger people do some negative behaviors since they do not comply the guidance of pantang larang and perceive it only as an old story. This paper, therefore, is a qualitative study which aims at describing the culture of pantang larang from Malay ethnic group.

Abstract

IndonesiaPendahuluan: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana peran pumping teacher dalam menangani pendidikan abad 21. Metode:  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan cara menelusuri berbagai sumber referensi secara kritis untuk mendapatkan data yang utuh dan dapat dipercayai. Hasil: Guru bukan hanya mampu digugu dan ditiru, tetapi mampu memberikan motivasi kepada anak didiknya agar semangat dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, guru harus bisa menjadi pumping teacher dengan gaya belajar biofili. Dengan adanya semangat guru dalam mengajar, sehingga tertanam konsep dalam hati guru bahwa mengajar dari hati bukan mengejar materi. Sehingga dapat menciptakan anak didik yang beriman, berilmu, bertakwa dan berkarakter yang siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di abad 21 ini. EnglishIntroduction: This article aims to examine how the role of pumping teacher in 21st century education. Method: This research uses literature review method by tracing various reference critically to get the valid and reliable data. Result:  The role of teachers is not enough to be person followed and imitated, but they have to give motivation to their students in order to spirit in learning. Therefore, the teacher should be able to be a pumping teacher with the learning style of biofili. With the spirit of teachers in teaching, so teachers do the concept that teaching from the heart and they are not pursuing the material. So that, they can drive students who are faithful, knowledgeable, cautious and character who is ready to face the challenges of education in the 21st century.

Abstract

The constant change of human life from the agricultural era, industrial era, and the present era which is known as information era has come with great transformation in new faces. In the meantime, there is a living tradition within the Paloh community that does not rot through the changes of time called Antar Anjung. This research is qualitative with a descriptive method. The results showed that Antar Ajung which is carried out by the Sambas people, particularly the Paloh community, historically came from the tax paid to Majapahit kingdom who was in power over Sambas at that time, it was transported through a river on sailboats. However, since the Sambas Sultanate came to power, the payment was no longer obliged by the Sultan of Sambas, the tradition was still practiced by the Paloh community whatsoever, especially in Tanah Hitam, Matang Danau, Matang Putus, Kalimantan and Arung Parak in a new name, Antar Ajung. Antar Ajung ritual has become entrenched in the lives of the Paloh community, it has been done for tens of years until now, except those in Matang Danau Village, who have changed the tradition into Berobat Kampung. Perubahan yang terus berlanjut dari masa pertanian, industri dan masa sekarang yang dikenal dengan informasi mengalami perubahan yang drastis dengan wajah yang baru, tetapi budaya di masyarakat Paloh tidak lekang dimakan zaman. Kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, sejarah Antar Ajung yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Sambas pada umumnya dan masyarakat Paloh pada khususnya, berasal dari upeti yang dibayar kepada kerajaan Majapahit yang berkuasa di Sambas melalui sarana transportasi sungai dengan menggunakan perahu layar. Namun, sejak kesultanan Sambas berkuasa di Sambas, maka pembayaran dari upeti tersebut tidak dilakukan di masa kerajaan Sultan Sambas, tetapi masih dilakukan oleh masyarakat Paloh, khususnya di Tanah Hitam, Matang Danau, Matang Putus, Kalimantan dan Arung Parak yang dalam wajah yang baru, yakni Antar Ajung. Ritual Antar Ajung sudah membudaya dalam kehidupan masyarakat Paloh, yang sudah mencapai puluhan tahun dan bahkan masyarakat Paloh masih melaksanakan ritual tersebut, kecuali Desa Matang Danau, telah mengalami perubahan menjadi Berobat Kampung.
