Abstract

This study aims to design the interior of a child-friendly daycare by considering functional, comfort, safety and aesthetic aspects. Research and Development (R&D) is the method used in this study. The results of this study are the development of a child-friendly interior at the Sinduharjo Yogyakarta Growth and Development Daycare, which produces 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional images and presentation videos. The study provides the following results: 1) Child-friendly interior design with natural nuance literacy and considering safety, comfort, functional and aesthetic aspects, 2) Optimization of the function of each existing space by utilising space and converting space, 3) Application of furniture that is safe for children and multifunctional, 4) Creation of branding for daycare by creating a cheerful and child-friendly atmosphere, 5) Processing of elements that form a space such as the floor, walls and ceiling to be more child-friendly and in accordance with the natural literacy atmosphere. Overall, the design considers essential aspects of interior design, important aspects of children's space, use of colour, spatial layout, criteria for facilities and infrastructure, space requirements, and child therapy rooms.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan konsep smart studio dalam perancangan Studio Keramik Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Rupa FBS UNY dengan memperbarui fasilitas ruang, pengoptimalan sarana dan prasarana, mementingkan aspek psikologis penghuni ruang, serta memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi untuk fasilitas pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan langkah yang dilakukan yaitu analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain secara terbatas. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Smart studio sebagai solusi keterbatasan ruang studio keramik FBS UNY dengan penerapan open plan, lantai mezzanine, room devider, lantai dan plafon ekspos, dan pemasangan drain gutter. Merancang furnitur multifungsi dan memberikan fasilitas lengkap sebagai penunjang aktivitas belajar. Menambahkan aksen dinding, kalimat motivasi, dan pemasangan poster. Penggunaan otomatisasi dan pemanfaatan teknologi mutakir pada studio, serta menerapkan wastafel daur ulang. (2) Hasil perancangan dipresentasikan menggunakan gambar kerja 2 dimensi, gambar perspektif 3 dimensi, dan video presentasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk merancang sebuah kafe yang memiliki konsep Sustainable Design. Penerapan konsep Sustainable Design  pada perancangan Loma Kafe Prambanan ini dilakukan dalam rangka penyelamatan bumi. Hasil penelitian penerapan konsep Sustainable Design  pada perancangan interior meliputi 1) Penerapan konsep Sustainable Design, meliputi: pemilihan dan penerapan material yang bersifat alam dan renewable, pemaksimalan penggunaan  dan penerapan sistem pencahayaan alami dan penghawaan alami sebagai langkah penghematan energi, menggunakan finishing yang bersifat durable dan ramah lingkungan pada semua elemen interior pada perancangan Loma Kafe Prambanan. 2) Penerapan konsep Sustainable Design pada perancangan interior Loma Kafe Prambanan tidak mengalami perubahan setelah dilakukan validasi desain oleh ahli desain dan pemilik Loma Kafe Prambanan karena sudah memenuhi kriteria sebagai bangunan kafe yang menerapkan konsep Sustainable Design  dan dinyatakan layak. 3) Hasil perancangan desain berupa gambar kerja 2 dimensi, gambar perspektif 3 dimensi, serta video presentasi.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement the concept of educational recreation in the interior design of Cemeti Yogyakarta Art House. The method used in this research is the design thinking method, which has several stages, namely: (1) empathise; (2) define; (3) ideate; (4) prototype; (5) test. The design results include the design of zones, layouts, floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture. The design results have gone through a trial stage carried out using videos assisted by virtual reality tools and have met the assessment with four testers, namely building users, which resulted in an average score for the design feasibility indicator strongly agreeing 38.67%, agreeing 50%, disagreeing 10%, and disagreeing 16.33%, and indicators of the application of the concept of recreation and education resulted in an average score strongly agreeing 37.5%, agreeing 62.5%, disagreeing 0%.   _______________________________________________________________________________   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun dan mengimplementasikan konsep rekreatif edukatif pada perancangan interior Rumah Seni Cemeti Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini metode design thinking yang memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu : (1) emphatize; (2) define; (3) ideate; (4) prototype; (5) test. Hasil perancangan  meliputi perancangan zona, layout, lantai, dinding, plafon, dan furnitur. Hasil desain telah melalui tahapan uji coba yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan vidio yang dibantu dengan alat virtual reality dan telah  memenuhi penilaian dengan 4 orang penguji yaitu pengguna bangunan, yang menghasilkan rata rata nilai untuk indikator kelayakan desain sangat setuju 38,67%, setuju 50%, kurang setuju 10%, dan tidak setuju 16,33%, dan indikator penerapan konsep rekreasi dan edukasi menghasilkan rata rata nilai sangat setuju 37,5%, setuju 62,5%, kurang setuju 0 tidak setuju 0%.

Abstract

The terms "interior designer" and "interior decorator" are often used interchangeably, as if they were identical professions. Although both may have the ability and talent to createbeautiful rooms, the two are not synonymous.Interior decorators are primarily concerned with surface decoration, generally refers to someone who deals with finishes, surfaces, furniture, and wall coverings and no government regulation regarding the work of an interior decorator. On the other hand, an interior designer is one who is trained to create a functional and quality interior environment, qualified through education, experience and examination, so aprofessional designer can identify and creatively resolve issues and lead to a healthy, safe and comfortable physical environment. Referring to that definition, interior design is the art and science of understanding people's behavior in order to create functional spaces within the building structures, an in the other hand, an interior decoration is the art of decorating to beautify a space. Although an interior designer can also make aesthetic changes to an interior space, the interior designer is a professional licensed with a licensing authority who coordinates design projects with a holistic approach. This effort includes designing the interior architecture, in addition to beautifying the space.Keyword: interior, decoration design, comparative study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui desain interior deaf space pada ruang kelas tunarungu di SLBN Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Ngawi dan memberikan analisis serta solusi terhadap desain interior sekolah tersebut agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan penggunanya; (2) memberikan pemahaman tentang kebutuhan interior anak tunarungu dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak tunarungu SLBN Dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Ngawi. Objek penelitian adalah Interior Deaf Space pada Ruang Kelas Tunarungu. Data diambil dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dianalisis melalui pemahaman studi literatur dan triangulasi data, kemudian disusun dalam bentuk deskriptif dan direduksi sesuai dengan fokus permasalahan yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ruang kelas tunarungu SLBN Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Ngawi kurang sesuai dengan prinsip interior Deaf Space oleh Hansel Bauman. Beberapa kekurangannya berada pada prinsip jangkauan sensorik (sensory reach), mobilitas dan kedekatan (mobility and proximity) dan warna. Visibilitas dan sirkulasi kurang baik karena masih terdapat sudut siku-siku, pintu dengan bukaan mengarah keluar dan lebar koridor yang kurang luas, banyak terdapat pilar-pilar yang besar sehingga mengganggu keluasaan pandangan dan tidak terdapat warna biru. Namun, prinsip interior Deaf Space lainnya telah diterapkan dengan cukup baik, sehingga cukup mendukung pembelajaran siswa secara efektif.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the competency of high school and vocational high school arts and culture teachers in Tasikmalaya Regency and City in developing creative, culture-based learning media. This program was motivated by the declining understanding of students about traditional Indonesian architecture due to the lack of engaging and interactive learning media. The activity was carried out through a hybrid workshop method that combined online and offline sessions. A total of 30 participants from various schools participated in the training focused on creating Pop-Up and Augmented Reality (AR) media to visualize traditional Indonesian houses in arts and culture learning. Data were collected through pre- and post-training questionnaires, observations, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively to measure the increase in participant competency. The results showed that 85% of participants experienced an increased understanding of the concept of Pop-Up and AR media, 90% were able to create Pop-Up media independently, and 95% assessed the workshop material as relevant to their learning needs. The integration of Pop-Up and AR media has proven effective in combining manual creativity and digital literacy, creating more interactive, contextual, and technology-integrated learning. This program demonstrates that collaboration between universities and MGMP can produce sustainable cultural learning innovations. It is recommended that similar training be developed in other regions to strengthen teachers' cultural literacy and digital competencies.
