The objectives of this research were to find out the actual teaching and learning process and to what extent the use of English at Biology Bilingual program. This research employed the descriptive study which involved a lecture and one class of Biology Bilingual Program as the subject of the research. The data were collected through observation and video recording then analyzed by Classroom Discourse Frame. This research revealed that the teaching and learning process used both English and Bahasa Indonesia. It also reported that Lesson Frame, Lesson Support Frame, and Commentary Frame were used at the classroom activity. The language alternation was dominated by the lecture to clarifying and explaining the material and the Bahasa Indonesia was rarely used in the classroom teaching and learning process.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu proses belajar mengajar actual dan sejauh mana penggunaan bahasa Inggris pada Program Biologi Bilingual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang melibatkan dosen dan salah satu kelas di Program Biologi Bilingual sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan rekaman video yang kemudian dianalisis dengan Classroom Discourse Frame. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses belajar mengajar menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia. Lesson frame, Lesson Support Frame, dan Commentary Frame digunakan dalam aktivitas kelas. Pergantian bahasa juga didominasi oleh dosen untuk memberikan klarifikasi dan mengklarifikasi materi pembelajaran selain itu bahasa Indonesia jarang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

The community empowerment is one of the support in developing of potential sources of Regional Original Income (PAD). For that, human resources as the pads of confirmation pads need to be powered. One of the elements of human resources is the youth. So one of the potential development efforts is the English training program for Sinjai Timur’s Youth and Entrepreneurship. Types of activities and technical implementation in this program consist of: (1) Pre-Test (Test will be given by the tutor the to target partner before giving the material ), (2) Giving Material (Giving material by Tutor to Target Partners), (3) Post-Test (Test will be given at the end of the training, to know the level of change before and after the training), (4) Brainstorming (covered the idea of entrepreneurship). Based on the results of the implementation of the activity, it was found that the target group's mastery of English was still less visible from the pre-test to post-test data from the number of existing targets, did not experience significant percentage increases. There were no targets that were able to achieve 100% percentage. For business administration management, only 1 (one) business group can assist in issuing a business license.

There are four skills that should be students or people know in learning English. They are listening, reading, speaking and writing. Speaking is one of skill that many people quite difficult to do because some of them feel nervous or anxious so that they would not know what shoul they say. English meeting is one of place that facilitate the students or people to increase their speaking English proficiency. When they speak, they use a communication strategies to reduce their nervous. Therefore, in this study will investigate the communicative styles that they use. This study aim to find out the dominant communicative style used in English meeting and explore how the speakers communicative style influence their achievement in acquiring English. This paper is based on recorder that taken from one of English meeting club in STISIP Muhammadiyah Sinjai called YES (Younger English of STISIP Muhammadiyah Sinjai). To collect data, the researcher recorded the English meeting activity. The recording was obtained, transcribed, and analyzed by using discourse analysis. The communicative styles used was discussed based on the communciative styles of Mahmud (2017). The finding shows that the speakers utilise the communicative style in speaking. Their communicative style involves of speech acts, discourse markers, language choices, address terms and the inclusion of regional terms derived from the Bugis- Sinjai language such as additional –mi, -ji. Finding of this study are useful in process of learning English that occur in English meeting in which there will be various expression that are produced by the speakers in English meeting.

This study aimed at investigating Students’ Perception towards the use of Sevima Edlink Platform in English Learning at Aquatic Resources Management Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai. This research employed a quantitative research method with description survey. The population of this research consisted of 196 the first semester students of Agricultural faculty at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai. This research used purposive sampling technique in choosing sample; the sample of this study was 30 students of Aquatic Resources Management study program Agricultural faculty. The researcher used questionnaire in collecting data. The used type of questionnaire in this research was open-ended questionnaire and close-ended questionnaire and the construct of the questionnaire used TAM theory. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics on SPSS. The result of this study showed that Edlink platform was application that can be used in online learning. This Edlink platform made it easy for students to work on and collect their assignments. Moreover, this Edlink platform had interesting features and was easy to learn. It made students become happy to use it. However, more specifically in learning English, this platform increase productivity in learning but this Edlink platform did not improve effectiveness in learning. Furthermore, it could still be recommended to others to use.

As a result of the activity, we obtained data that English learning was beneficial for the target group from the change in data values before and after the test. On the other hand, regarding the business types of the target group, it was found that the majority of the communities are engaged in palm sugar business, cattle trading business, and broiler business. However, the trade still operates separately and no joint ventures with an organizational structure have been formed, so the processing of official permits (business licenses and labels) cannot be carried out.

Perkembangan pariwisata di Toraja utara mengalami permasalahan disebabkan oleh Covid-19. Para pengunjung untuk destinasi wisata di toraja utara mengalami penurunan baik sektor cagar alam dan budaya sehingga di butuhkan langkah atau strategi yang kongrit untuk meningkatkan ekowisata. Sektor pariwisata merupakan aset daerah yang meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah namun mengalami penurunan pengunjung baik wisatawan mancanegara maupun wisatawan nasional akibat Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian langkah strategis dalam pengembangan ekowisata berbasis analisis SWOT adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaiu kuantitaif di kombinasikan dengan Pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Berdasarkan analisis lingkungan internal (IFAS) dan eksternal (EFAS) dapat diketahui salah satu indikator ancaman yang sangat berperan dalam penurunan kunjungan wisatawan yaitu Covid-19 sehingga dibutuhkan strategis untuk menekan hal tersebut seperti Industri pariwisata harus beradaptasi dengan kebiasaan baru atau new normal. Adapun kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa pengaruh terbesar kurangnya wisatawan yaitu akibat covid -19 karena pandemic tersebut menyebabkan wisatawan dan beberapa kebijakan pemerintah pusat maupun daerah setempat berdampak sangat saignifikan terhadap ekowisata di Toraja utara. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT yang dilakukan ancaman merupakan poin yang mempengaruhi perkembangan ekowisata di toraja utara.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Efektivitas Pelayanan Publik Era New Normal di Desa Cenrana Kecamatan Kahu Kabupaten Bone. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis data ada dua yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data ada tiga yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pelayanan Publik Era New Normal di Desa Cenrana Kecamatan Kahu Kabupaten Bone sudah terlakasana dengan baik. Pelayanan administrasi di kantor Desa Cenrana terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu pelayanan administratif, Pelayanan barang publik, dan pelayanaan jasa publik. Dalam memberikan pelayanan pemerintah Desa Cenrana berupaya memberikan pelayanan yang cepat bagi masyarakat. Akan tetapi pelayanan yang cepat tidak lepas dari kesadaran masyarakat untuk melengkapi berkas persyaratan ketika ingin memperoleh pelayanan. Dalam pemberian pelayanan di era new normal tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan guna tetap meminimalisir penyebaran covid-19. Selain itu inovasi tentang pelayanan berbasis online juga diberlakukan oleh Pemerintah Desa Cenrana. Meskipun sudah ada inovasi pelayanan online, masyarakat juga masih ada yang menerima pelayanan langsung yaitu dengan cara datang ke kantor desa untuk memperoleh pelayanan karena masih banyak masyakat yang belum paham dengan teknologi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian vaksinasi covid-19 terhadap normalisasi pendidikan di kecamatan Sinjai Utara. Ada tiga pendekatan oleh Matini dan Lubis (1987:56) dalam menganalisis efektifitas diterapkan dalam penelitian ini, yakni Pendekatan Hasil, Pendekatan Sumber, dan Pendekatan Proses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Tiga sekolah dengan jenjang pendidikan yang berbeda (SMAN 1 Sinjai, SMPN 5 Sinjai, dan SDN 3 Balangnipa Sinjai) menjadi data primer penelitian ini dengan metode pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian vaksinasi covid-19 di Kecamatan Sinjai Utara efektif terhadap normalisasi pendidikan. Prasyarat atau threshold yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah untuk dapat dilakukan PTMP dapat dipenuhi oleh sekolah melalui kampanye dan edukasi yang berkelanjutan tentang manfaat vaksin. Satuan pendidikan dan pemerintah berkolaborasi dengan membentuk tim satgas khsusus covid-19 dalam mengawas dan mengevaluasi sekolah-sekolah dalam menerapkan protokol Kesehatan dan juga sekaligus menjadi tim khusus yang memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya vaksin covid-19

The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of technology in inclusive education on enhancing student learning outcomes. The research methodology employed is a comprehensive literature review, encompassing data from various sources pertaining to the integration of technology in educational settings. The findings indicate that the incorporation of technology in inclusive classrooms can markedly enhance student learning outcomes, particularly in developing cognitive and critical thinking abilities. Additionally, technology can facilitate the optimization of the learning process in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. It is also important to note that the use of technology in education presents certain challenges and risks that must be managed effectively in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Therefore, when considering the use of technology in education, it is essential to carefully select and integrate technology in a manner that is conducive to achieving desired results.
