Abstract

Antenna microstrip merupakan salah satu antenna yang saat ini diterapkan pada teknologi 4G LTE dengan rancangan multi input multi output (MIMO). Untuk mencapai peningkatkan nilai parameter gain (penguatan) agar jangkauan jaringan 4G LTE lebih luas maka dalam penelitian ini dirancang antenna MIMO 2X1 dan 4x1 rectanguler patch dengan digunakan metode array dengan frekuensi kerja 2,3 GHz – 2,4 GHz.Hasil simulasi untuk antenna MIMO 2x1 terdiri dari gain 5,13 dB, return loss -18,913 dB, VSWR 1,2555. Hasil simulasi untuk antenna MIMO 4x1 terdiri dari gain 7,322 dB, return loss -15,59 dB, VSWR 1,3985. Untuk pengukuran perfomansi antenna 2x1 outdoor memiliki rata-rata ping test 119,6 ms, download test 20.12 Mbps, upload test 8,5 Mbps. . Untuk pengukuran perfomansi antenna 2x1 indoor memiliki rata-rata ping test 85,91 ms, download test 20.06 Mbps, upload test 7 Mbps. Untuk pengukuran perfomansi antenna 4x1 outdoor memiliki rata-rata ping test 150 ms, download test 2,82 Mbps, upload test 2,92 Mbps. Untuk pengukuran perfomansi antenna 4x1 indoor memiliki rata-rata ping test 107,45 ms, download test 22,38 Mbps, upload test 5,12 Mbps

Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) merupakan teknologi generasi ke empat (4G) yang dikembangkan oleh 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). LTE mampu memberikan kecepatan downlink sampai dengan 100 Mbps dan uplink 50 Mbps. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan penentuan perfomansi pada rancangan jaringan 4G LTE Frekuensi 1800 MHz dengan menggunakan antenna MIMO 2X2, 4x4 dan 8x8. Perfomansi jaringan 4G LTE yang diamati melalui parameter best signal level, nilai C/ (N+I), throughput, RSRP dan BLER dari perancangan yang telah dilakukan. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui memvariasikan penggunakan jumlah antenna pengirim dan penerima (Tx dan Rx) antenna MIMO pada jaringan 4G LTE yang ada. Kemudian akan dilanjutkan dengan pengamatan nilai maisng-masing parameter perfomansi jaringan 4G LTE tersebut. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 2x2, memiliki jangkuan area 717,258 km2, signal level - 69.72 dBm, C/(N+I) 5.08 dB, throughput 11,803.4 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.88 dBm dan BLER 0.03. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 4x4, memiliki jangkuan area 726,432 km2, signal level -69.5 dBm, C/(N+I) 5.58 dB, throughput 11,803.01 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.64 dBm dan BLER 0.02. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 8x8, memiliki jangkuan area 726,432 km2, signal level -69.5 dBm, C/(N+I) 6.1 dB, throughput 12,564.1 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.64 dBm dan BLER 0.02. Pada penggunaan Antena MIMO 2x2 , 4x4 dan 8x8 dari jangkauan area, ketiga jenis nya tersebut dapat menjangkau wilayah Balikpapan

Abstract

Gejala Covid-19 selain demam, yang harus diwaspadai oleh masyarakat saat ini adalah kondisi sesak nafas yang dikarenakan yakni penurunan kadar oksigen di dalam darah. Kondisi ini dapat membuat seseorang mengalami masalah pernafasan seperti sesak napas atau dispnea yang bisa berakibatkan fatal terutama bagi masyarakat yang dapat menggangu organ vital yakni jantung dan kadar oksigen dalam hingga menimbulkan kematian. Penelitian ini merancang alat yang bisa mendeteksi gejala klinis penyakit covid -19 yakni sesak nafas melalui pengukuran kadar saturasi okisgen dan denyut jantung untuk gejala sesak nafas dengan penggunaan sensor MAX30100 dan arduino uno sebagai kontroller. Pengujian tingkat saturasi oksigen dan denyut jantung baik pada jari jempol, telunjuk, tengah, kelingking dan manis tidak menunjukan gejala sesak nafas sehinnga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu smart detektor gejala (sesak nafas) klinis penyakit COVID-19 Buzzer berfungsi dengan baik sebagai indikator peringatan jika nilai saturasi oksigen dan denyut jantung melebihi dari nilai normal. Perbandingan pembacaan hasil gejala klinis sesak nafas melalui tingkat saturasi oksigen. denyut jantung menunjukan hasil yang tidak jauh berbeda diantara alat buatan dan alat yang beredar dipasaran

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu upaya penerapan protokol kesehatan dimasa pandemi covid-19 di jurusan Teknik Elektro terutama laboratorium GE 312, untuk pengecekan suhu dan monitor memakai masker di kampus khusus untuk mahasiswa yang akan masuk Laboratorium dilakukan secara manual oleh petugas Lab. Keterbatasan jumlah petugas lab dan thermogun maka proses pengecekan dilakukan secara bergantian dan memakai waktu yang lama sehingga diperlukan alat untuk pengecekan suhu dan penggunaan masker yang lebih cepat dan efektif. Disisi lain kondisi pintu Lab Ruang GE312 saat ini masih menggunakan kunci konvensional, sehingga kurang efisien untuk ruangan Lab dengan banyak kunci yang harus dibawa, Metode yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi suhu dan masker adalah menggunakan Sensor GY-906 untuk mendeteksi suhu badan, ESP32 cam untuk mendeteksi masker dan untuk mengunci pintu Lab menggunakan Magnetik Door Lock dan Arduino Uno serta ESP32 sebagai mikrokontrollernya. . Hasil dari penelitian ini dibuat sebuah alat yang yang dapat mendeteksi suhu badan, mendeteksi masker dan buka tutup pintu otomatis serta diimplementasikan pada pintu Laboratorium GE312.

Abstract

Based on the problems SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan related limitations of the amount of equipment supporting  Digital subjects, therefore the team PkM Balikpapan State Polytechnic community  service activities with the title "Improving Teacher Competence with ICT Utilization through Aplikai Proteus in SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan". PkM implementation methods include pre-test, introduction of Proteus application, Proteus application usage practice, followed by simulation test of learning practice along with monitoring (observation) to partner after PKM activity ends. The purpose of this activity can be achieved by increasing the competence of SMK Setia Budi's teachers  on Proteus Application so that it can be one alternative solution to overcome the limitations of the existing practicum tools especially for Digital Engineering subjects. And from the test results of learning practices from the students also helped to understand the learning materials with the use of this application.

Abstract

Nowadays, weather monitoring is indispensable. The data obtained in the present or past can be a reference to predict future weather, can be used to determine the condition of the antenna on ground stations in the face of extreme weather. It is necessary to have a tool that can read the parameters of the weather, because the importance of weather monitoring. Automatic Weather Station (AWS) This type of ADS-WS1 is a tool that can read several parameters of weather quantities such as rainfall, wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity, and pressure. It has equipped with sensors to read the number of weather parameters. ADS-WS1 not using internet networks, but use radio frequencies for sending a sensor data that has connect to the transceiver. With that frequency the signal will be transmitted and received via satellite or terrestrials with Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) through radio frequency and Internet gateway or known as (iGate). The result from the sensor that have been installed at the PUSTEKSAT ground station can be monitored both on Radio Frequency (RF) and Internet, the purpose of this research is to send weather data station with APRS format via Radio frequency,  this  a proof of concept for sending weather information via APRS format system. Abstract

Street lamp lighting (SLL) is a complementary element of the street that serves to illuminate the environment around the street, so that road users will feel safe and comfortable. Based on the PkM team survey, RT 100 Manggar Village does not yet have a SLL. Therefore, the PkM team has designed 1 unit of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 50 wp in the RT with 5 point DC lamp loads on the main road and 1 point placed in a resident's house, as well as placing the panel boxes. The main components of PLTS 50 wp include 50 wp solar panels, 35 ampere controllers, 35 Ah VRLA batteries, fiber cables, 3 watt DC lights, and fittings. The results of the battery endurance test after the solar panel is charged for 5 hours (when the sun is hot), the PLTS is able to turn on 6 light points (3 watts) for 46 hours. This proves that the PLTS is very efficient and suitable to be implemented as a source of PJU electrical energy in Manggar Village, Balikpapan City

Abstract

The K-Means algorithm is an iterative grouping algorithm in partitioning the data set into a number of clusters that have been set at the beginning. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to apply Data Mining with the K-Means clustering algorithm to find solutions in adding types of reading books that students are interested in. The application of the K-Means Algorithm aims to assist the librarian in classifying the data on borrowing books that students really like or are interested in. In the k-means algorithm, it can analyze more deeply by processing book lending transaction data with results that explain various information - information about the distribution of the intensity of borrowing a book so that the information from the processing results can help the library to determine the addition of a collection of books that are right on target. which is then processed using Rapid Miner. This provides benefits for the Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan Library in the plan to increase the collection of reading books in the library. The final results of the research are 107 book titles with a borrowing frequency of 231 times in the period 2019-June 2022. The test is carried out by finding the smallest value of the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) where after the data is processed it is known that the smallest value is 0.407 with a total of 3 clusters. It was concluded that scores with the Highest, Medium and Low Clusters were obtained in the grouping of library books, namely the Highest Cluster with the number of book data being 2 titles, namely Teknologi Beton, teori dan Praktik Hotel Front Office. These two types of books are the most borrowed so that they can be recommended to be proposed in the procurement of library book collections. Medium cluster with 23 book titles and low cluster with 82 book titles.

Abstract

The results of the survey and field observations to the Partner (Kelurahan Lamaru Balikpapan), the Balikpapan State Polytechnic Village Development team obtained information from interviews with the kelurahan that there were still RT-RT areas that lacked access to street lighting. Includes RT. 8, RT.19, RT 22, RT 23 RT 28. This lack of access to lighting results in frequent traffic accidents for motorists who cross the road and are not criminals at night or in dark conditions. In addition to the problems above, information was also obtained, that fish, which is one of the natural resources at partner locations, is still not optimally utilized because the average catch of residents is directly sold to traditional markets. as street lamp lighting in several RTs that have been determined above and Increasing Diversification of Processed Fish into Shredded and Nugget. The 5 lamp units that were installed were operating well and received a very positive appreciation by the residents. Residents are also given knowledge about solar cell technology and how to maintain the lamp unit so that its use can be maximized. The Village Development Team also conducted training on diversification of tongkol into shreds and nuggets to provide more value added which has an impact on improving the economy of residents at partner locations which is also accompanied by socialization related to the nutritional value of tongkol. In this Community Service Activity, this village development also carried out the handover of 5 units of village street lighting and a set of kitchen utensils for processing tongkol from the team to the kelurahan which was immediately received by the Lamaru village head.
