Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistem monitoring tangki pendam SPBU dapat menyebabkan tidak efisien dan efektifnya dalam memantau berapa debit dan volume cairan pada tangki pendam SPBU. Dengan demikian, diperlukan sistem monitoring yang dapat terintegrasi dengan perangkat komputer dan internet. Sistem monitoring ini berfungsi memberikan informasi yang terjadi di dalam tangki pendam SPBU. Konsep Internet of Things (IoT) membuat sebuah perangkat dapat berkomunikasi seperti mengirim dan menerima data melalui jaringan internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring tangki SPBU dengan menggunakan ESP8266, sensor aliran, dan sensor ultrasonik. Aplikasi antarmuka yang digunakan adalah Virtuino dan Thingspeak yang mampu memberikan informasi secara real time kepada pengguna sehingga dapat memantau keadaan secara terus menerus tanpa harus mengecek ke lapangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memantau dan mengirimkan data volume cairan dengan terus menerus. Dengan sistem ini diharapkan dapat membuat pekerjaan lebih efisien dan efektif untuk pengelola SPBU.

Abstract

This research was based on the modification of the DeLone and McLean information systems models by adding end-user computing satisfaction variables to determine the success factors for e-government systems. This model was adopted due to the aim of this study to investigate the factors responsible for the successful implementation of e-government by bringing it closer to public value. However, while the DeLone and McLean models focus more on the information system approach, the model proposed was on the premise that system quality (SQ), information quality (IQ), content (CO) and format (FO) are determinants of e-government system user satisfaction. Furthermore, the net benefits through a five-dimensional public value determinants were used to evaluate e-government websites from a community perspective. Responses from 150 communities were analyzed by smart PLS 3.0 using structural equation models to examine the relationship between the constructs of the proposed model. This study contributes to the research gap in adopting DeLone and McLean's model in the e-government due to the limitation in its validation for different contexts. The results support the effect of content variables on user satisfaction and simultaneously prove that it is possible to explain net benefits, with an r-squared value of 69.1%, using the variables in the proposed model. The five dimensions of public value adopted all proved to have a positive influence with a confidence level of 95%. The level of construct significance identified is able to help in the formulation of strategies to improve e-government services.

Abstract

Abstract      The need for support of IT (Information Technology) is now considered increasingly important in achieving competitive advantage for a company or organization. Exploiting the advantages of IT needs the ability to manage IT resources into an effective IT governance so as to create efficient business processes and excel in achieving the vision of an organization. Organizations should have full awareness in seeing any benefits to be achieved through IT, therefore it takes the role of management in making IT investments that are right for their organization's needs.  A good IT project should follow four basic stages include (1) planning, (2) procurement, (3) implementation, and (4) surveillance. If the organization can manage all four stages well, it can certainly benefit from IT investments more dominant intangible can be perceived by all IT human resources. This study aimed to analyze the planning of infrastructure improvement of Information and Communication Technology at the State Polytechnic of Balikpapan. Methods of research conducted through several phases ranging from the needs analysis, to determine the exact needs of the ICT infrastructure for the current business model and future with reference to a best practice recommendation. From the analysis showed Poltekba need support technology infrastructure (hardware) that can increase network capacity, data, and IT security in the campus environment.Keywords : Infrastructure TIK, Improving TIK, TIK AbstrakKebutuhan akan dukungan keunggulan TI (Teknologi Informasi) saat ini dirasakan semakin penting dalam mencapai keunggulan kompetitif bagi sebuah perusahaan atau organisasi. Pemanfaatan keunggulan TI membutuhkan kemampuan dalam mengelola sumber daya TI kedalam sebuah tata kelola TI yang efektif sehingga dapat menciptakan  proses bisnis yang efisien dan unggul dalam mencapai visi sebuah organisasi. Organisasi harus memiliki kesadaran penuh dalam melihat setiap manfaat yang bisa diraih melalui TI, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan peran serta manajemen dalam melakukan investasi TI yang tepat bagi kebutuhan organisasi mereka. Sebuah proyek TI yang baik harus mengikuti empat tahap dasar diantaranya (1) perencanaan, (2) pengadaan, (3) pengimplementasian dan (4) pengawasan. Apabila organisasi dapat mengelola keempat tahapan tersebut dengan baik dapat dipastikan keuntungan dari investasi TI yang lebih dominan bersifat intangible dapat dirasakan oleh seluruh SDM TI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan peningkatan infrastruktur Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan mulai dari analisis kebutuhan, sampai dengan penentuan kebutuhan infrastruktur TIK yang tepat untuk model bisnis saat ini dan masa depan dengan mengacu rekomendasi sebuah best practice. Dari hasil analisa menunjukkan Poltekba membutuhkan dukungan infrastruktur teknologi (hardware) yang dapat meningkatakan kemampuan jaringan, data dan kemanan TI di lingkungan kampus.Kata Kunci : Infrastruktur TIK, Peningkatan TIK, TIK

Abstract

The application of information systems with various types of convenience offered can reflect the quality of service of an organization, the quality of service can be said to be very good if the service meets the needs and expectations of users. This kind of evaluation can be done by applying a tested model but problems arise when latent variables in the method used are not fully able to identify factors that influence user satisfaction. From the results of research using the end user satisfaction model, the R-Square value is 0.653, which means that 65.3% of user satisfaction can be found through latent variables found in the EUCS model while the remaining 34.7% can be explained through external variables. This study aims to analyze external factors outside the EUCS model, one of which is by using the information system quality variables contained in the Delone and Mclane information system success model. The way to do this is to add an external variable to the EUCS model and then analyze the outer model and analyze the structural model using the structural equation model. The results showed that the independent system quality variable has a t-statistic value of 3.445 or greater than t-table 1.96 which means that the external latent variables of the Delone and Mclean model can be used to explain the satisfaction factors (from the external variable side) of the user information system on the EUCS model.

Abstract

Tata kelola teknologi informasi merupakan bagian penting dari organisasi yang memanfaatkan TI untuk mendukung pencapaian strategis dan tujuan bisnis organisasi. Dibutuhkan berbagai kegiatan pengaturan dan pengendalian yang baik sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi pengorganisasian TI. Selama ini belum pernah dilakukan kegiatan evaluasi dengan cara menganalisis pelaksanaan tata kelola TI di Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi pengendalian proses TI saat ini dengan cara menganalisis pelaksanaan tata kelola TI di Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan supaya bisa digunakan dalam mengembangkan TI di Organisasi.Metode penelitian yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, dimulai dengan pemilihan proses TI yang akan dianalisis kemudian dilakukan pengumpulan data dalam bentuk kuesioner maturity model yang bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan pelaksanaan tata kelola TI saat ini dan dianalisis tingkat kematangan yang ingin dicapai. Dari hasil kedua analisis tersebut akan menghasilkan gap atau kesenjangan yang selanjutnya diberikan rekomendasi peningkatan untuk menutup gap tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan framework COBIT 4.1 yang terdiri atas 4 domain utama dengan total keseluruhan proses TI sebanyak 38 proses.Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tata kelola TI secara keseluruhan di Poltekba pada domain PO proses TI yang diteliti berada pada tingkat 3-Defined atau menurut COBIT organisasi telah memiliki mekanisme dan prosedur yang jelas mengenai tata cara dan manajemen proses investasi teknologi informasi dan telah terkomunikasikan serta tersosialisasikan dengan baik di seluruh jajaran manajemen organisasi.

Abstract

Accuracy in the selection or determination of human resources in an organization greatly affects the achievement of the company's final goals. Currently, it is not uncommon to determine a candidate for a leader or a position not based on the abilities or skills of the selected candidate, but because of the closeness or compatibility between policy makers. Although there have been many studies that have proven that the quality of Human Resources affects the achievement of the organization's vision, few have discussed this relationship by involving the initial selection or determination process using the advantages of systems and information technology. The purpose of this research is to create an electronic-based system that can be used by a company to determine prospective candidates who meet the criteria or requirements desired by the company or organization. The method used to make a decision on the selection of candidates adjusts to the algorithm contained in the Porfile Matching method by determining the percentage value criteria aspect. This method assumes that the ideal level of predictor variables must be met by candidate subjects by giving weight to each variable. The experimental results of a decision support system using a profile matching algorithm that is coded into the program to determine or select a supervisor who is in accordance with the title of a student's final project at a university shows the compatibility between the Education, Research and Support aspects required by the university. The results of this study can provide implications for HR management practitioners in determining the suitability between HR and position maps. For academics, this can increase understanding of the effect of a profile matching algorithm-based decision support system on the effectiveness and objectivity of determining candidates in an organization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan implementasi e-government menggunakan pendekatan teori public value yang merupakan pengembangan model kesuksesan sistem informasi DeLone and McLean. Sedangkan variabelvariabel pengaruh kesuksesan implementasi sistem informasi e-government yang diuji dalam penelitian ini antara lain well-informedness, communication, information retrieval, trust dan participation. Penelitian ini juga menganalisa pengaruh manfaat bersih dengan dimensi nilai publik. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif melihat hubungan sebab akibat dengan menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner yang didistribusikan ke 150 orang pengguna aktif layanan website egovernment. Data dianalisa melalui pengujian outer model untuk memastikan ketepatan dan kehandalan instrumen variabel dan pengujian inner model untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang subtantif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan implementasi e-government Kota Balikpapan dalam model ini dapat dijelaskan melalui variabel dependen kesuksesan e-government sebesar 53,6%, sedangkan variabel yang terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan adalah kepercayaan dan partisipasi.

Abstract

Based on the problems SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan related limitations of the amount of equipment supporting  Digital subjects, therefore the team PkM Balikpapan State Polytechnic community  service activities with the title "Improving Teacher Competence with ICT Utilization through Aplikai Proteus in SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan". PkM implementation methods include pre-test, introduction of Proteus application, Proteus application usage practice, followed by simulation test of learning practice along with monitoring (observation) to partner after PKM activity ends. The purpose of this activity can be achieved by increasing the competence of SMK Setia Budi's teachers  on Proteus Application so that it can be one alternative solution to overcome the limitations of the existing practicum tools especially for Digital Engineering subjects. And from the test results of learning practices from the students also helped to understand the learning materials with the use of this application.
