Abstract

The ability to write reputable article is an essential competency for academics and researchers. One of the requirements for an article to be said to be reputable is that it be published in a reputable international journal with a particular writing style. One of the writing styles presented is the LaTeX format. The advantages of this format, compared to others, are its stable, dynamic and efficient characteristics. In addition, LaTex is open source. Nevertheless, the implementation of the LaTeX format is not yet popular enough for certain groups, especially academics in Indonesia. Therefore, training was carried out in preparing reputable articles using LaTeX. This training is specifically for Indonesian students who are studying at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia based on their need. The training was held on May 4 2024 at 08.00 Malaysian standard time. The method used was teaching and discussing carried out online. Evaluation have been carried out based on the number of participants, formative test, and the participant responses. From the evaluation results, it is known that there were 31 participants. The average score on the formative test was 61.29. In addition, the dominant of participants strongly agreed with the usefulness of this training, where 16 (45.7%) participants giving positive comments. Meanwhile 10 (28.5%) participants provided suggestions, and the rest were neutral.

Abstract

TikTok is a social media platform popular among teenagers. The app allows users to create and share short videos that last a maximum of 15 seconds. TikTok has become an important part of teenagers' lives and has impacted their lifestyles in various ways. This study aims to examine the influence of TikTok on teenagers' lifestyles. This research was conducted using a survey method on 100 teenagers in Indonesia. The results showed that TikTok has a positive and negative influence on teenagers' lifestyles. The method used is a survey method with the technique of distributing questionnaires to 100 teenage TikTok users. The results showed that the use of TikTok had a significant effect on teenagers' lifestyles, especially in terms of clothing models, favorite foods and drinks, hobbies and recreational activities, and the use of cosmetics and skincare. The more intensively teenagers use TikTok, the more likely their lifestyles are influenced by the content in TikTok.

Abstract

Energi alam terbarukan seperti energi cahaya matahari sangat berlimpah di Indonesia dengan ik lim tropis. Photovoltaic merupakan perangkat yang dapat mengubah cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik . Karena energi listrik kini telah menjadi kebutuhan primer, maka diharuskan bisa melayani beban secara kontinyu. Automatic Transfer Switch merupakan perangkat yang umum digunakan pada sistem jaringan hybrid maupun on grid. Bukan tanpa maksud tujuan, penggunaan yang praktis, effisien, dan mudah sudah tentu menjadi nilai plus untuk dijadikan sistem pengaman jaringan listrik . Teknologi dengan perkembangannya membuat variasi jenis ATS semakin beragam, baik dalam bentuk konvensional bahkan yang automatic sekalipun. Penelitian dimulai dengan perancangan software untuk menentukan skema dan jenis program yang digunakan. Untuk zelio logic software yang digunakan berupa ZelioSoft 2 dan function block diagram sebagai algoritma pemrogramannya, sedangkan C-language serta software codevision AVR digunakan untuk meng-coding program Atmega32. Lalu perancangan hardware, bertujuan untuk merakit komponen menjadi satu sistem. Setiap ATS yang diteliti dirancang untuk melakukan switch dengan kondisi inverter pada PLTS sebagai variabel utamanya. Sehingga, hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan ATS sangat berpengaruh bagi sistem jaringan listrik on grid untuk kontinituitas jaringan listrik baik itu menggunakan zelio logic atapun atmega32.

Abstract

PT Subur Mulya Sejahtera yang bergerak di bidang distributor produk sosis merupakan salah satu distributor frozen food produk Sosis Kanzler yang berlokasi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Banyak konsumen yang memesan produk di lokasi yang berbeda dengan cakupan wilayah pendistribusian antara lain adalah daerah Solo Raya. Saat ini pengiriman masih menggunakan rute awal yang belum dikaji secara analitis sehingga masih berpotensi untuk dioptimalkan. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk membuat sistem distribusi dapat berjalan lebih optimal ialah mengoptimalkan rute distribusi dengan pendekatan analitis. Metode nearest neighbor (NNM) merupakan salah satu metode optimasi heuristik yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari rute optimal dalam distribusi. Visualisasi dari rute dapat dimunculkan dengan menggunakan metode principal coordinate analysis (PCoA). Berdasarkan hal itu, penelitian ini mencoba mengimplementasikan kedua metode tersebut untuk menyelesaikan masalah rute pada PT Subur Mulya Sejahtera. Hasil implementasi NNM merekomendasikan rute dengan total jarak tempuh selama satu minggu ialah 924.6 km dengan penghematan jarak sebesar 180.14 km atau sebesar 16%. Begitu pula pada biaya distribusi, ada penghematan sebesar Rp. 153.123,- atau sebesar 6% dari rute awal. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka rekomendasil dari hasil analisis NNM perlu dipertimbangkan untuk memperbaiki rute distribusi pada PT Subur Mulya Sejahtera.

Abstract

Marketing of ornamental plant products in Sekarsari and Magersari Farmers Association of Magelang still uses conventional methods. The conventional self-help management means that buying and selling activities are limited and have not optimally empowered the development of information technology. The adoption of Responsive Website technology is used to address the relevant issues through the implementation of information technology. Responsive Website is developed using the Scrum method and the Model View Controller (MVC) framework which is able to bridge one data with other data on an information system. The adoption of innovation forms an information system that is useful for transforming the sustainable marketing system and directing the governance of farmer groups to be effective and better. Responsive Web implementation is tested using Blackbox Testing. This responsive web enables the association to carry out substantial market expansion, facilitate remote interaction between customers and farmers, and attain rapid business growth.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a type of infectious disease caused by SARS Cov-2. This virus has spread throughout the world to cause a pandemic. This study aimed to model and analyze the spread of Covid-19 with the isolation factor. The spread of Covid-19 can be made into an epidemic model by taking into account the population of susceptible humans (S), infected humans (I), isolated humans (L), and recovered humans (R). The method used in this research was to derive a non-linear system of differential equations model, complete the model qualitatively, find the primary reproduction ratio ( , see the model’s behavior by analyzing the dynamics of the equilibrium point and make model simulations. This model has a disease-free equilibrium point that is asymptotically stable, while at the equilibrium point, the endemic is unstable. The results of the model simulation and analysis of the value indicate that the chance of successful Covid-19 spread and the isolation factor is a significant controlled parameter in reducing the value.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a serious respiratory disease that can be fatal for those affected. Governments have tried various strategies to conquer the Covid-19 pandemic. One of them is to vaccinate people with 6 years old and over. The vaccination program aims to form herd immunity so that the number of confirmed positive cases can be reduced. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model of the SIR (Susceptible-Infected-Recovery) spread of Covid-19 by considering vaccination factors. The SIR model is combined with a vaccination factor to forestall the unfold of Covid-19. The research method includes deriving models of nonlinear differential equation systems, solving qualitative models, deriving the basic reproduction ratio ( ), analysis of equilibrium points, and building simulation models. This model has an asymptotically stable disease-free equilibrium point. At the same time, the endemic equilibrium point is unstable. Model simulation is obtained by using different parameter values. This is proven through the outcomes of the model analysis vaccination coverage is a key parameter that can be controlled to reduce so that the pandemic ends soon.

Abstract

Rumah makan berupa UMKM di sektor F&Bmemiliki tantangan dalam mempertahankan daya saingnya.Mbok Galak mengalami penurunan penjualan akibat tidakadanya strategi pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengelompokan menu dan hubungan antar menumenggunakan algoritma K-Means yang bekerja denganmengelompokan menu berdasarkan kesamaan polapenjualannya dan FP-Growth dengan melihat kecenderungandan hubungan dari menu, guna menghasilkan rekomendasistrategi pemasaran. Data penjualan selama 1 tahun dianalisismenggunakan K-Means dengan pendekatan Dynamic TimeWarping untuk menghitung matriks jarak agar pola trenpenjualan dari data dapat dianalisis dan MultidimensionalScaling untuk mengubah matriks jarak DTW ke bentuk yangbisa diolah algoritma K-Means. Data transaksi pelanggansebanyak 641 transaksi dianalisis menggunakan algoritma FPGrowth untuk menemukan aturan asosiasi antar menu.Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan MATLAB danRapidMiner. Hasil clustering membagi menu ke dalam 5 klasterberdasarkan tren dan tingkat penjualan dengan melihatkarakteristik menu berdasarkan jenis menunya, rata-ratakeuntungan, rata-rata transaksi, dan fluktuasi transaksi. HasilFP-Growth berupa kombinasi menu yang sering dibelibersamaan, terdapat sebanyak 16 aturan asosiasi yangterbentuk dengan menggunakan threshold minimum support 0.7dan minimum confidence 0.9, serta nilai lift ratio ≥ 1.Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disusun strategi pemasaran berupabundling dan promo untuk membantu meningkatkan dayasaing Mbok Galak.Kata kunci— strategi pemasaran, K-Means, FP-Growth,clustering, market basket analysis, rumah makan.

Abstract

Saat ini semakin banyaknya masyarakat yang menggunakan gas LPG dalam kehidupanrumah tangga. Kelalaian pemasangan dan lambatnya penangan ketika terjadi kebocoran selang gas LPG dapat memicu terjadinya kebakaran.Oleh karena itu, dirancang sebuah alat untuk mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG dan dapat mempercepat penanganan ketika terjadi kebocoran gas LPG. Sistem ini berbasis mikrokontroler yang bertugas untuk mengatur keseluruhan sistem, sensor MQ-6 sebagai pendeteksi adanya kebocoran gas LPG, bunyi buzzer akan menjadi peringatan tanda adanya bahaya dari kebocoran gas. Tabung gas LPG dapat dikategorikan AMAN ketika tegangan output pada sensor melebihi dari 12 mili Volt. Akan tetapi jika tegangan output padasensor melebihi atau sama dengan 13 mili Volt maka tabung gas dapat dipastikan BERBAHAYA

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people tend to panic buying and hoard food supplies. This can trigger an increase in food waste during the pandemic, especially vegetable food waste. This also happens at the level of traders, especially green-grocer who sell in traditional markets. The behavior of traditional market traders who fail to adapt to food safety standards, poor handling, resulting in the emergence of food waste, especially during the pandemic. This study aims to determine the factors that cause vegetable food waste at the level of green-grocers. The method used is qualitative and quantitative with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The sampling was conducted using random sampling and the gained respondents are 111 green-grocers. Then, Chi-Square test is conducted to test the statistical correlation between green- grocer demographic and their preferences about food waste mitigation. The results show there is a correlation between the preferences of green-grocers related to food waste with their demographics. Furthermore, some traders' activities still cause food waste and some of them also don't know what food waste is and what food safety standards are. The less food safety standards, the greater the potential for food waste generated.
