Abstract

The implementation of training and development programs for teachers plays a crucial role in enhancing their skills and capabilities, especially in the context of curriculum change. This study conducts a comprehensive analysis of such programs, focusing on their effectiveness, challenges, and areas for improvement. Through a literature review approach, various scholarly works, empirical studies, and best practices are examined to evaluate the impact of training and development initiatives on teacher performance and student outcomes. The evaluation encompasses aspects such as program design, delivery methods, content relevance, participant engagement, and organizational support. It delves into the strategies employed to address the evolving needs of teachers amid curriculum transformations, considering factors like technological integration, pedagogical innovations, and curriculum alignment. Furthermore, the study explores the role of continuous professional development in sustaining teacher motivation, fostering a culture of lifelong learning, and adapting to dynamic educational landscapes. Based on the analysis, several recommendations are proposed to enhance the efficacy of training and development programs for teachers. These recommendations encompass tailored professional development pathways, collaborative learning communities, mentorship programs, feedback mechanisms, and resource allocation strategies. The findings of this study contribute valuable insights to educational policymakers, administrators, and stakeholders involved in designing and implementing teacher training initiatives within the framework of curriculum change.

Abstract

This study investigates the differences in teaching and learning interactions among university students in online and offline learning environments, focusing on students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Tomakaka, Indonesia. The study was motivated by the emerging need to evaluate how communication patterns and engagement are affected by instructional modalities in the post-pandemic context. Using a mixed-method approach, including questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with 50 randomly selected students, this research explores interactional dynamics and identifies existing gaps in current literature regarding rural-based blended learning practices. The results indicate that offline learning fosters stronger student–lecturer and peer–peer interaction due to richer nonverbal cues and immediacy of feedback, while online learning shows limited engagement, especially in rural settings. However, some students reported higher comfort and participation in digital settings due to reduced social pressure. The study concludes that a blended learning approach, supported by interactive tools and digital training, may optimize communication and inclusiveness. These findings have practical implications for improving instructional design, especially in under-resourced educational institutions, and highlight the importance of digital infrastructure and pedagogical capacity building in enhancing learning interaction.

Abstract

The researcher found that there were still many students who felt bored while learning and had difficulties in memorizing vocabulary. The research methods used are Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population in this research were all students at MA Yadi Cabang Funju, and the sample was the x grade students of MA yadi Cabang Funju with a total of 15 people. Three instruments were used in this research, interview guideline, observation, and questionnaire. In addition, there are four data analyses in this research, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research that in cycle I, there was 1 student with a percentage 50-69% are in the fair category. And a total 14 students with a percentage 0-49% are in the poor category. In cycles II as many as 7 students with above average ability with a percentage of 70-89% are in the good category. A total of 6 students with average ability with a percentage of 50-69% are in enough category, and 2 students with below average ability with a percentage of 0-49% are in the not enough category. From this result, it can be concluded that students experienced a 50-69% increase vocabulary through outdoor learning,

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: (1) menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi intelektual pada pesantren di Mamuju, (2) menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi kecerdasan emosional pada pesantren di Mamuju, (3) menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi Kecerdasan Spiritual Pesantren Mamuju, (4) Menganalisis Pengaruh Karakter di Pondok Pesantren Mamuju, (5) Menganalisis Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosi Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter di Pesantren Mamuju, (6) Menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap pembentukan karakter di Pesantren Mamuju, (7) Menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di Pondok Pesantren Mamuju, (8) Menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di Pesantren Mamuju, (9) Menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di Pesantren Mamuju, (10) Menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap pembentukan karakter pada pondok pesantren di Mamuju. Selanjutnya data primer melalui survey sebanyak 332 orang santri pondok pesantren di Mamuju sebagai sampel. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan program Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pondok pesantren di Mamuju, (2) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pondok pesantren di Mamuju, (3) kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pondok pesantren. di Mamuju, (4) berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter kecerdasan intelektual pada pesantren di Mamuju, (5) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter pada pesantren di Mamuju, (6) pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap pembentukan karakter pada pesantren di Mamuju, (7) pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di Pondok Pesantren Mamuju, (8) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di Pondok Pesantren Mamuju, (9) pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap pembentukan karakter melalui kompetensi di pondok pesantren Mamuju , (10) Kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter pada pesantren di Mamuju.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the students’ perception on the use of asynchronous discussion for teaching and learning in EFL class during pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama Pasangkayu. The data was collected through observation and interview. The data was analyzed by using Interactive Analysis model. The result of the research shows that most of the students were pleased with the asynchronous discussion format. The students believe that the asynchronous discussion is used effectively for teaching and learning in EFL class during pandemic. Additionally, the process of sharing information between students during the discussion allows them to improve their knowledge and eradicate misconception. The eradication of misconception was done through several phases: ideas exchange, evaluation of own belief, and reconstruction of new belief.
