Abstract

This research aims to analyze the increase and decrease of oil world prices to abnormal returns and trading volume activity on mining sector companies that are registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples used were 56 companies using the purposive sampling method. This research took abnormal return and trading volume activity to be examined. An event study was used as the research model. This study also used paired sample t-test. The results showed that the United States released oil reserves, sanctions on oil exports in Russia, Russia's import ban, the decreased supply of oil from Russia to abnormal returns both before and after the event in mining companies that registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. However, there is no significant difference before and after abnormal returns in all events. There is also no significant difference before and after trading volume activity at the beginning of the United States releasing oil reserves, sanctions on oil exports in Russia, Russia's import ban, and the decrease supply of oil from Russia to mining companies that registered in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Russia's import ban event, there was significant trading volume activity in mining companies that registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Investors should be careful in receiving information that will affect their investment decisions.

Abstract

The improvement of services to corporate taxpayers is expected to increase the satisfaction of corporate taxpayers so it is expected to increase compliance in the taxation sector. The new paradigm that places government officials as servants of the state and society must be prioritized to improve the performance of public services. The purpose of the study was to determine the direct effect of the Service Quality variable on the Satisfaction and Compliance of Corporate Taxpayers. The population in this study were corporate taxpayers registered at Pratama Dumai Tax Office, which amounted to five thousand and thirty-seven taxpayers. To minimize the incompleteness of the data, in this study, a questionnaire will be distributed to ninety-eight respondents. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis and Partial least squares (PLS). The results of the analysis of service quality affect corporate taxpayer satisfaction, service quality affects corporate taxpayer compliance and taxpayer satisfaction affects corporate taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

Having knowledge and doing financial planning is a process of achieving life goals, namely a prosperous and happy future through financial management. Financial inclusion cannot be separated from the extent to which the public can understand financial products/services so that they are able to use them in providing value for welfare. This study aims to examine whether the factors of gender, age, and GPA affect the level of financial literacy and financial inclusion among students at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology Pekanbaru. The respondents studied were 95 students. The method used in this research is descriptive method and test method. To obtain the required data, data collection in the form of a questionnaire was used. In this study, the type of data used is primary data. Based on the Binary Logistics Test, the results of the study show that the factors of gender, age, and GPA have no effect on the level of financial literacy of a student at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology Pekanbaru, gender and age factors do not affect the level of financial inclusion of a student. Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology Pekanbaru, while GPA and financial literacy affect the level of financial inclusion of a student at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Changes in information technology have encouraged banks to provide easy access to information services for their customers in conducting transaction processes by launching electronic banking services. This study aimed to analyze the effect of ease of use, trust, information technology readiness, and social factors on customer interest in using Mandiri M-Banking. The research population was M-banking users of Mandiri Bank at the Pekanbaru Branch Office with a sample size of 120 people. Research analysis method was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between trust and information technology readiness on customer interest in using Mandiri M-banking. While ease of use and social factors did not significant on customer interest in using Mandiri M-banking.

Abstract

E-commerce development in Indonesia has increased significantly with percentage of 78% where e-commerce transaction reached 435 trillion on November 2022. This condition encourages competition of each e-commerce is getting tougher. Purpose of this research was to analyze the impact of price, online review and rating to purchase decision on Tokopedia e-commerce. The population in this research are customers who have made purchases on Tokopedia e-commerce. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with the number of samples as much as 150 respondents. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results show that price has positive significantly effect on purchase decision while online review and rating have no significant effect on purchase decision. Perkembangan e-commerce di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dengan persentase mencapai 78% dimana nilai transaksi e-commerce mencapai 435 triliun pada November 2022. Kondisi ini mendorong tingkat persaingan antar e-commerce semakin tajam. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh harga, ulasan online dan rating terhadap keputusan pembelian pada e-commerce Tokopedia. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen yang telah melaksanakan pembelian pada e-commerce Tokopedia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 responden. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Harga berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian sedangkan ulasan online dan rating berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh leverage, pertumbuhan penjualan, dan total aset turnover (TATO) terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan tercatat sektor bahan baku (basic materials) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Enam puluh tiga (63) perusahaan sektor bahan baku selama kurun waktu 6 tahun dari tahun 2017 hingga 2022 diambil sebagai sampel secara purposive sampling. Penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pertumbuhan penjualan dan TATO terhadap profitabilitas. Namun, terdapat hubungan negatif namun tidak signifikan antara leverage dan profitabilitas. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan hubungan variabel-variabel yang ada dengan pecking order theory. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya manajer di sektor bahan baku untuk mengelola aset mereka serta menyusun strategi penjualan untuk meningkatkan peluang kelangsungan hidup perusahaan di masa depan. This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, revenue growth, and total asset turnover (TATO) on profitability of listed companies in the basic materials sector in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Sixty-three (63) firms from the basic materials sector over a period of 6 years from 2017 to 2022 were taken as samples by purposive sampling. The study found that there is a positive and significant relationship between revenue growth and TATO on profitability. However, there is a negative but non-significant relationship between leverage and profitability. This study displays the indirect relations between the variables to the pecking order theory. Furthermore, this study also pushes the importance for managers in the basic materials sector to manage their assets as well as strategizing sales to increase its chances of survival in the future.

Abstract

Entrepreneur memegang peranan penting dalam upaya mendorong penguatan struktur ekonomi dan menjadi prasyarat bagi Indonesia untuk menjadi negara maju pada tahun 2045. Untuk mencapai kondisi tersebut, Indonesia harus memiliki rasio entrepreneur minimal 4% dari total populasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh financial knowledge dan financial attitude terhadap financial behavior dan financial distress. Populasi penelitian adalah entrepreneur muda yang menjalankan usaha di Provinsi Riau. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah snowball sampling yang diperoleh dari penyebaran angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 208 entrepreneur muda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisa jalur dengan menggunakan smart PLS. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa financial knowledge dan financial attitude berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap financial behavior. Financial attitude berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress. Financial behavior berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress. Financial knowledge berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap financial distress. Financial knowledge yang cukup akan membantu entrepreneur muda dalam melakukan pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih baik sehingga dapat meminimalisir terjadinya financial distress. Attendance of entrepreneurs can encourage the strengthening of the economic structure and become a prerequisite for Indonesia to become a developed country by 2045. To fulfill this requirement, Indonesia must have at least 4% of the entire population as entrepreneurs. Objective of this research was to explain impact of financial knowledge and financial attitude on financial behavior and financial distress. The research population are youth entrepreneurs who own and operate enterprises in Riau Province. The method of snowball sampling from questionnaires was utilized as the sampling technique. This study had 208 youth entrepreneurs as participants. Path analysis using Smart-PLS was employed as the research approach. According to the research findings, financial knowledge and financial attitude positive significantly impact on financial behavior. Financial attitude and financial behavior did not significantly impact on financial distress. Financial knowledge negative significantly impact on financial distress. Sufficient financial knowledge will assist youth entrepreneurs in effectively managing their funds, reducing the likelihood of financial distress.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Companies that carry out business activities in the field and/or related to natural resources are obliged to carry out social and environmental responsibilities aimed at realizing sustainable economic development. This research aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership, leverage and company size on corporate social responsibility in infrastructure companies. Research population was infrastructure companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2018-2022. Sampling technique used purposive sampling with number of samples was 38 companies. Analytical technique used descriptive analysis and several types of evaluation using IBM SPSS programme. Research result show that company size has a negative significant impact on corporate social responsibility. Meanwhile, managerial ownership and leverage did not significant influence on corporate social responsibility. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial, leverage dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap corporate social responsibility pada perusahaan infrastruktur. Populasi penelitian adalah perusahaan infrastruktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018-2022. Teknik sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 38 perusahaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta beberapa jenis evaluasi dengan menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan yang memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap corporate social responsibility. Sedangkan kepemilikan manajerial dan leverage berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap corporate social responsibility. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, lifestyle, e-wom on purchase decision. This research was conducted at Kopi Kenangan which is located at Jalan Jendral Sudirman Pekanbaru, Riau. The population in this study were all consumers coffee shop at Kopi Kenangan, whose exact number was not known, so using the roscoe formula, the sample was set at 120 people using the accidental sampling method. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. Research result inform that (1) product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchase decision. (2) lifestyle has a positive and significant influence on purchase decision. (3) ewom has a positive and significant influence on purchase decision. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh product quality, lifestyle, dan e-wom terhadap purchase decision. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kopi Kenangan yang beralamatkan di Jalan Jendral Sudirman Pekanbaru, Riau. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen pada coffee shop Kopi Kenangan di Kota Pekanbaru yang jumlahnya tidak dapat diketahui dengan pasti, maka dengan menggunakan rumus roscoe sampel ditetapkan sebesar 120 orang dengan metode accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa (1) kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. (2) gaya hidup memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. (3) ewom memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Banking is a publicly trusted financial institution that plays an important role in the economic system. This research aims to analyze the effect of E-Service Quality and Trust on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at BCA KCP Juanda Pekanbaru. Research population was active customers at BCA KCP Juanda Pekanbaru. The roscoe formula is the sampling strategy utilized in this research instance, and there are 100 samples total. The analysis technique used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. Research result inform that E-Service Quality and Trust have a significant and positive impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Lastly, for Customer Satisfaction on customer Loyalty has a positive and significant. E-Service Quality play an important role in efforts to increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Perbankan merupakan lembaga keuangan terpercaya publik yang memainkan peran penting dalam sistem perekonomian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh E-Service Quality dan Kepercayaan terhadap Kepuasan nasabah dan Loyalitas nasabah padaBCA KCP Juanda Pekanbaru. Populasi penelitian merupakan nasabah aktif di BCA KCP Juanda Pekanbaru. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus roscoe, sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa variabel E-Service Quality dan Kepercayaan terhadap Kepuasan dan Loyalitas nasabah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Untuk variabel Kepuasan terhadap Loyalitas nasabah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan. E-Service Quality memegang peranan penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kepuasan nasabah dan loyalitas nasabah.
