Abstract

Abstract: Mastering vocabulary is very important for foreign language learners. Since today’s era demands teacher and lecturer to deal with technology in teaching, the role of technology is really important.  E-learning as the concept of computer and network-based learning can be used by the educators in this era. One of the e-learning media is quizizz. The purpose of this research: to find out the improvement of student’s vocabulary through Quizziz application as game based learning. The subject of this research consist of 20 students in one of senior high schools in Cimahi. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Test and Questionnaire as instruments in this research. From the result of pre-test, the researchers found that the result of students’ vocabulary mastery was under average and still far from what was expected. The finding was supported by the result of students’ vocabulary scores. The average score of pre-test was 64,67. After the implementation of Quizizz in every cycle, the students’ vocabulary score were getting better. It can be seen from the result of students’ average score Cycle 1 was 71,37 and Cycle 2 was 81,31. It can be concluded that Quizizz can improve students’ vocabulary mastery and Quizizz can improve vocabulary classroom into a better situation.Abstrak: Menguasai kosakata sangatlah berguna bagi mempelajari Bahasa. Di era sekarang ini, guru dan dosen harus dapat menguasai teknologi dalam pembelajaran, maka keberadaan para guru tersebut memiliki peran penting. E-learning merupakan lonsep dari computer dan network based learning, yang dapat berguna bagi pelajar saat ini. Salah satu media pembelajaran e learning yang dapat digunakan adalah Quizizz. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan kemampuan kosakata siswa melalui aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis game. Subjek dari penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa dari sebuah sekolah tinggi di wilayah Cimahi. Desain dari penelitian ini adalah Penelitan Tindakan Kelas. Test dan Quesioner digunakan sebagai instrument dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil pre test, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan penguasaan kosakata siswa masih jauh dari yang diharapkan. Hal tersebut mengacu pada nilai score yaitu 64,67. Setelah mengimplementasikan Quizizz di setiap siklunya, nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil tes di siklus 1 yaitu 71,37 dan 81,31 untuk siklus 2. Dari hasil penilaian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Quizizz dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan kosakata siswa, selain itu situasi kelas juga menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

The ability to understand about solid (geometry) for elementary school students in grade V is very important because it is one of the subjects in mathematics. However, the facts in the field have not been well honed. Many students have difficulty during the learning process, especially when the questions are presented in the form of stories related to everyday life. Through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME),  approach, students are able to understand about that problems using concrete objects, because students are directed to solve a problem through real-world situations. This study aims to examine  the scenarios and implementations, students' and teacher's responses, difficulties experienced by students and teacher during online learning, and teacher's obstruction in implementing online learning. The research subject was done in grade V at elementary school in Bandung Barat. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The instruments in this study consisted of observation sheets, questionnaires or attitude scales, interviews and written tests. The achievement of this study shows the expected results based on the post-test results on each item because it has increased. That way, the ability to understand about solid (geometry) using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME),  approach is better than before getting treatment using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME),  approach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who often mistakenly determine the formula for perimeter and area of plane figures. Therefore, we need a learning media to help students remember and understand the formula for the circumference and area of a flat shape. The purpose of this research is to determine the process, feasibility of developing audio learning media based on Geometry Song using the Realistic Mathematics Education model. This study uses the Research and Development (RD) method. The subjects in this study were 10 fourth grade students during the limited test and 26 students during the broad test in one of the elementary schools in West Bandung. The research instrument used consisted of field notes and validation sheets. Field note sheets are used to determine the process and results of the development of the developed learning media and validation sheets to determine the feasibility of the developed media. The results of the study showed that the Geometry Song-based audio learning media using the Realistic Mathematics Education model obtained a percentage of 98.7% from the assessment of material experts, while the assessment of media experts and practitioners obtained a percentage of 100%, from the results of these percentages it can be said that the developed media is "Very Eligible" to use. This media can create a fun learning atmosphere, and listening to this song can train students' memory on plane figures.

Abstract

Education is a central pillar in forming the foundation of society's future, and implementing a relevant curriculum is critical in ensuring the quality of learning. As a response to increasingly complex educational challenges, the Merdeka Curriculum focuses on developing competence and character with essential material. On the other hand, the Merdeka Curriculum also offers teachers flexibility in designing and implementing learning according to student needs and local context. This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum among elementary school teachers as a reflection to provide effective feedback. The survey method is used to collect data through questionnaires that have been developed and have undergone expert validation. Questionnaires were distributed to 160 state elementary school teachers in West Bandung Regency. The questionnaire includes 7 question items about teacher readiness, level of understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, and identification of obstacles and strategies for overcoming them. The data collected was analyzed quantitatively using a descriptive statistical approach. The research results show that teachers are ready to implement the Independent Curriculum but their understanding is still limited which has an impact on the presence of challenges in its implementation. These findings have implications for the urgency of increasing teachers' understanding regarding the Independent Curriculum, skills in designing and implementing learning in accordance with the characteristics of the Independent Curriculum, including assessment. With better understanding and skills, the challenges faced will be overcome.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah skenario dan implementasi, respon siswa dan guru, kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan kendala yang dihadapi guru pada saat pembelajaran daring. Adanya wabah COVID-19 memberikan dampak pada pendidikan yaitu pembelajaran yang semula secara tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran daring. Semua pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring, salah satunya pembelajaran matematika mengenai bangun datar. Melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL), siswa dapat membuat konsep bangun datar menjadi sesuatu yang konkret dan dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi kesulitan dalam pembelajaran secara daring sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, lembar observasi, angket dan wawancara. Pencapaian dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang diharapkan. Respon siswa dan guru sangat baik serta hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik. Pemahaman materi bangun datar siswa lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum mendapat pembelajaran dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL).

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) Increasing the ability to think creatively in collage in class II elementary school students using the Project Based Learning model (2) Difficulties of class II elementary school students in improving their ability to think creatively in collage (3) Difficulty for teachers in using the model Project Based Learning in class II elementary school students. The research method used is a mix method with an Explanatory Sequential Design model. The research subjects were 30 grade II elementary school students. Data was obtained from observation sheets, response questionnaires and interviews. The quantitative data collection technique is by providing pretest and posttest questions, while for qualitative data it is by providing observation sheets, response questionnaires and interviews. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the use of the Project Based Learning model to improve creative collage thinking skills in second grade elementary school students has increased. This is proven by the average n-gain score obtained at 0.58 with medium criteria, which means the effectiveness is moderate. The students' difficulties in this research were that students had difficulty in developing collage artwork in elaboration, lack of interest in SBdP learning, students had difficulty in concluding the material. The difficulties faced by teachers in this research were limited tools and materials, lack of learning time, and difficulties for teachers to condition students
