Abstract

Background: Learning motivation is an essential aspect of student success in the learning process. In this context, librarians play a crucial role in enhancing student learning motivation by implementing various strategies to optimize learning activities. Optimal learning can improve student achievement. Efforts to realize this goal make librarians very important in educating the nation's young generation. Purpose: Exploration in this study focuses on data collection on the role of librarians in their various efforts to increase student learning motivation. Method: This study uses a literature review approach, which is an approach to a study related to data collection methods by utilizing books and articles as primary data sources. Findings: From the results of this study, librarians play an essential role in increasing learning motivation. Conclusion: Librarians can make this happen by providing sources of information, helping them to search for information/references, organizing literacy activities, providing support to students, providing technology, creating attractive room designs, and working with teachers. This role will help students become more creative and active during the learning process and can help them develop optimally. Dalam aspek ini, Pustakawan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui berbagai upaya untuk mengoptimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang optimal dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Upaya untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut menjadikan pustakawan sangat penting dalam mencerdaskan generasi muda bangsa. Tujuan: Eksplorasi pada penelitian ini berfokus pada penggalian data mengenai peran pustakawan dengan berbagai upayanya untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar para siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengkajian kepustakaan, yaitu pendekatan pada sebuah penelitian yang berkaitan dengan metode pengumpulan data dengan memanfaatkan buku dan artikel sebagai sumber data primer. Temuan: Dari hasil penelitian ini terlihat jelas bahwa pustakawan memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Kesimpulan: Pustakawan dapat mewujudkannya dengan menyediakan sumber informasi, membantu pencarian informasi atau referensi, menyelenggarakan kegiatan literasi, memberikan dukungan kepada siswa, menyediakan teknologi, membuat desain ruangan yang menarik, dan bekerja sama dengan guru. Peran tersebut akan membantu siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dan aktif selama proses pembelajaran serta dapat membantu mereka berkembang secara optimal. kata kunci: motivasi belajar, peran pustakawan, prestasi siswa, layanan perpustakaan, kajian pustaka

Abstract

The development of the 4.0 revolution changed the library paradigm, shifting the types of libraries from conventional to digital libraries. The IFLA/UNESCO Manifesto for Digital Libraries officially declares a new paradigm shift in libraries. This manifesto allows libraries to save space by developing digital libraries to build social zones. A social zone is a place for human interaction in various activities. Interaction can occur in a physical or virtual context. This study aims to examine the potential for developing social space through the development of digital libraries. This study used a qualitative method with a field and literature study approach. This study conducted field data validation tests using triangulation techniques. Based on field research, libraries that have implemented digital libraries can save space usage. The room was originally for placing collection shelves; libraries can then use them to create public spaces. The creation of public space by the library is for activities that involve community participation, such as literacy. In addition, using space to build a co-working space also indirectly contributes to social interaction through discussion activities. The next task of the library is how the library can provide quality collections so that the library can make it a center of information.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi nilai karakter toleransi secara tersirat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, melalui kegiatan bernyanyi lagu nasional, berdo’a mengajarkan bagaimana menyikapi perbedaan dan lain sebagainya. Hal tersebut terdapat di dalam pembelajaran PKn di SDN Baranangsiang. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Pengamatan, dan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adalah implementasi nilai-nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, faktor pendukung atau penghambat dalam implementasi nilai-nilai toleransi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Dalam proses pembelajaran masih ada sedikit hambatan dalam pengimplementasian nilai karakter toleransi yaitu siswa perempuan dan laki-laki yang masih belum bisa bekerja sama seakan-akan ada sekat pemisah diantara mereka. Dan juga dengan kondisi adanya pandemi, pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas ini menjadikan waktu untuk memberikan pembelajaran menjadi sedikit. Tentunya masih ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperbaiki dalam menerapkan nilai toleransi itu sendiri kepada siswa, sehingga pelaksanaan nilai toleransi dapat dijalankan secara optimal.

Abstract

Beberapa pengaruh muncul diakibatkan oleh globalisasi, secara tidak langsung akan berdampak pada nasionalisme suatu bangsa tentunya. Akan tetapi, dilihat dari keseluruhan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari globalisasi ini berpengaruh terhadap rasa nasionalisme yang berkurang bahkan hilang. menjadi berkurang atau hilang. Oleh karena itu, Pancasila memiliki peran sebagai dasar negara, pandangan hidup serta ideologi bangsa Indonesia.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan. Nilai-nilai Pancasila untuk meningkatkan nasionalisme, pertama, nilai ketuhanan atau religiusitas. Nilai religius ini berkaitan dengan sesuatu yang dianggap mempunyai kekuatan suci, sakral, mulia dan agung. Kedua, nilai kemanusiaan atau moralitas, berkaitan dengan manusia yang adil dan berperadaban. Ketiga, nilai persatuan Indonesia,  dimana persatuan ini merupakan kehadiran bangsa Indonesia. Bangsa Indonesia sendiri hadir untuk menciptakan kasih sayang terhadap segenap suku bangsa. Keempat, nilai permusyawaratan dan perwakilan, kaitannya yaitu manusia sebagai makhluk sosial. Kelima, nilai keadilan sosial, dimana pada nilai ini merupakan nilai yang menjejaki norma atas ketidakberpihakkan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how extracurricular activities carried out at SDN 244 Guruminda and SD Plus Al Ghifari can help develop students' character and skills. The research used a descriptive analysis method with the research subjects being the deputy head of the school in the field of curriculum and students. Data collection techniques by conducting interviews and observing extracurricular activities at school. As a result, extracurricular activities at school are able to have a good impact on students in the form of developing students' character and skills. Extracurricular activities carried out outside the classroom provide a variety of learning that is not only fixed in the classroom. Extracurricular activities provide learning experiences outside the classroom for students to become independent human beings, able to work together, able to solve problems, be creative, and always behave well. Therefore, schools as educational units should always carry out extracurricular development activities in order to create students who have good character as a provision to more easily survive life in the future.

Abstract

Social media users show a number that continues to grow. The use of social media has both positive and negative impacts. According to various studies, social media can affect mental health for long-term use. For this reason, research on the effects that arise due to the use of social media needs to be carried out continuously to minimize the harmful effects of using this media. This study aims to determine the impact of social media on changes in adolescent behavior. This study analyzes changes in adolescent behavior based on patterns of access to information. Furthermore, this study investigates the practice of adolescents in accessing and using information sources using Burhuss Skinner's theory and Social Islamic perspective. The results showed that adolescents tend to imitate behavior or Tasyabbuh. If it is not balanced with adequate literacy skills, changes in adolescent behavior have a destructive tendency. Study results show this harmful effect, which offers a negative correlation. Assistance and improvement of adolescent literacy competence will help adolescents reduce the adverse effects of using technology.
