Abstract

A hotel is a temporary lodging place intended for the general public, both individually and in groups, who come from different areas as well as for the people in the area. Hotels are often used by the community as a place to rest or stay because they are considered a comfortable place to rest or other things that support the convenience of the community. The development of hotels in various cities can be said to be very rapid, judging by the large number of hotels, both star and jasmine class, which are scattered in various cities in Indonesia, one of which is Medan City. According to the central statistics agency for North Sumatra in 2017 the city of Medan has 11,366 hotels. With the large number of hotels in the city of Medan scattered in several locations with various hotel classes, hotel rates and hotel facilities make it difficult for people to determine which hotel is appropriate according to existing criteria. If you choose the wrong hotel where to stay where there are no guarantees such as comfort, facilities and others as desired, it will not have an impact on people who want to stay overnight. Therefore it is necessary to implement a method to support a decision support system for choosing the best hotel in the city of Medan according to the desired criteria. Researchers implemented the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis method or commonly abbreviated as the MOORA method in a decision support system to choose the best hotel in the city of Medan. The reason researchers use this method is because several previous researchers used a lot of decision support systems using the MOORA method in solving problems in decision makers. With this research, the public will gain new knowledge to choose hospitality in the city of Medan. Where the outcome promised by the researchers in this study is the sinta 5 accredited journal.

Abstract

The Community Service Program in Bagan Deli Village focuses on educating fishermen about creating e-commerce websites using Google Sites. This initiative aims to increase community awareness of the importance of technology in improving access to information, supporting education, and improving living standards. Training and mentoring are conducted to empower the community to understand the basics of website development, which is expected to improve their economy. The program also encourages the provision of scholarships and regular education for local people, reduces unemployment, and strengthens the independence of fishing communities through technology and education.

Abstract

Microsoft Excel training for high school students at Sutomo 2 Medan High School aims to improve data analysis skills and digital literacy. In the growing digital era, the ability to use data processing software such as Excel has become very important. The program is designed to equip students with basic to intermediate skills, including the use of formulas, charting, and data analysis using Pivot Table. Through this training, students are expected to prepare themselves for the challenges of the world of work and further studies. In addition, this activity also benefits the school and community by supporting the development of information technology-based education. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in students' skills, which contributed to the quality of education and social welfare in the neighborhood.

Abstract

mingguan, bulanan , maupun tahunan pada sebuah lembaga sesuai dengan kebutuhannya, sehingga laporan keuangan ini juga dapat membuat para pelaku usaha mengetahui kondisi finansial perusahaannya secara akurat. Salah satu pelaku usaha adalah The K Hotel, namun yang menjadi permasalahan yang di alami pihak hotel yaitu, pembuatan laporan keuangan masih manual atau tulis tangan sehingga kurang rapi dan tidak teratur dan juga proses pembuatan laporan menjadi sangat lambat. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian perlu melakukan bimbingan dan pelatihankepada pihak hotel mengenai pembuatan laporan keuangan menggunakan Microsoft excel. Dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan tim pengabdi para peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan mereka dengan membuat secara mandiri laporan keuangan mereka setiap hari menngunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel yang sudah diajarkan

Abstract

Employees as individual who work for employer, Based on agreement and work agrements both written and unwritten, to carry out a job in a certainposition or activityby obtaining compensation paid based on a certain period, Job adjustments or other Provisions applied by the employer. Including individuals who do woork in public office,and it can be assumed that employeses are all residents who can do work and get a salary every mount, Both at school and company and school also require several new employees who will be placed as teachers in the field of sport. Therefore we need method or method to indentify prospective new employees in the field of sport at school. This was done to get the creteria needed by the school. C4.5 Algorithm can be used to make predictions or clafication of prospective new employees who want to join ABC school using the concept of entropy and gain.

Abstract

Designing and implementing a decision support application for determining the best-subsidized housing using the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization based on Ratio Analysis) method is an important step in helping the community, especially low-income communities (MBR). One of the areas where there are subsidized houses is Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang. Where there is no web-based application system or similar that can distribute information about subsidized housing to the community in that area. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision-support application using a method. The MOORA method is very suitable for use in this context because of its ability to handle decision-making problems that involve many criteria. The application designed and built using the MOORA method is able to produce the best housing recommendations based on the highest ranking and calculation results for each predetermined criteria, where the highest result is ranking 1, namely Grya Seruni housing.

Abstract

Object shape recognition in digital images is a crucial aspect of image processing and computer vision. This study implements the thresholding method as a segmentation technique to identify the shape of salak fruit (snake fruit) in digital images. The thresholding technique is applied to separate the main object (salak fruit) from the background based on pixel intensity differences. The process involves image acquisition, grayscale conversion, and the application of thresholding to produce a binary image. Morphological analysis is then conducted to extract shape features from the segmented object. The results indicate that the thresholding method is effective in recognizing the shape of salak fruit, achieving good accuracy under well-contrasted lighting and background conditions. This implementation can serve as a foundation for automated fruit classification or identification systems based on digital image processing.

Abstract

This study explores the segmentation of over 120 countries based on indicators of human development and digital readiness using unsupervised learning methods. By applying Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for dimensionality reduction and K-Means Clustering for grouping, countries were categorized into four clusters reflecting different levels of development and AI preparedness. Indonesia was positioned within the developing cluster, highlighting both its digital growth potential and structural challenges in innovation and R&D. The analysis provides strategic insights for policy formulation and emphasizes the importance of digital inclusion, research investment, and international collaboration. The clustering approach offers an intuitive visual framework to understand global patterns in the era of technological transformation.

Abstract

Perhotelan merupakan salah satu bisnis usaha di bidang paruwisata. Salah satu perhotelan yang ada di Deli Serdang adalah Hotel Halay. Dimana selama ini dalam menentukan tingkat kedisplinan karyawannya hanya melalui observasi dan tafsiran manager, sehingga kurang efektif dan kurang professional dalam menentukan kedisplinan karyawannya. Tujuan dalam menentukan tingkat kedisiplinan karyawan adalah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan terbaik kepada pelanggan melalui para karyawan, sehinga dibuat penilaian tingkat kedisplinan kepada karyawannya untuk diberikan penghargaan dan pembinaan kepada karyawan yang kurang disiplin. Penentuan tingkat kedisplinan di tentukan ke dalam 3 cluster yaitu Sangat Baik (C1), Baik (C2), dan Cukup (C3). Algortitma yang diterapkan adalah algoritma k-meas clustering. Dimana hasil dari penerapan algoritma ini dari 10 karyawaman dapat mengasilkan Sangat Baik (C1) sebanyak 6 data, Baik (C2) sebanyak 2 data, dan Cukup (C3) sebanyak 2 data.  Sehingga dengan adanya hasil yang didapat, bisa membantu pihak  pehotelan untuk mengevaluasi para karyawannya setiap efisode.

Abstract

Waiters The K Hotel merupakan bagian terdepan untuk bertugas sebagai penyambut tamu tamu hotel. Setiap waiters The K Hotel diharuskan menyediakan layanan paling optimal kepada pelanggan atau konsumen dalam memberikan pelayanannya, oleh karena itu kedisiplinan waiters menjadi dasar utama dalam memberikan pelayanan terbaiknya, sehingga pihak manajemen melakukan evaluasi terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan waiters mereka. Namun dalam menentukan tingkat kedisiplinan waitersnya dengan mengamati dan menafsirkan sepihak oleh manajemen, sehingga kurang efesien dan tidak cukup professional. Sehinga perlu dilakukan penilaian tingkat kedisiplinan waiters ke dalam 3 cluster yaitu Sangat Baik (C1), Baik (C2), dan Kurang (C3) menggunakan sebuah algoritma. Algoritma yang diterapkan dalam mengatasi masalah pengelompokan tingkat kedisiplinan adalah algoritma K-Means Clustering. Dimana ouput dari algoritma ini, dapat mengasilkan dari sepuluh data ke dalam beberapa kelompok, yaitu Sangat Baik (C1) terdapat 6 data, Baik (C2) terdapat 2 data, dan Kurang (C3) terdapat 2 data.  Sehingga dengan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat membantu manajemen The K Hotel dalam menilai kinerja pelayanan para waiternya setiap periode.
