The Effectiveness of Probing-Prompting Learning Model using Google Meet Platform on Student's Mathematical Communication Ability Siti Aisyah; Dwi Ivayana Sari; Ria Faulina

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform was effective in improving students' mathematical communication and to find out whether the mathematical communication of students taught by the probing-prompting learning model is higher than the mathematical communication of students taught by conventional learning. The method used is a quantitative research type of experiment. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Socah, while the samples in this study were class VII-A as the experimental class and VII-B as the control class. This research was conducted from April to July 2021. The instrument used is an observation sheet on the teacher's ability to manage learning with a probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform, observation sheet on students' mathematical communication skills taught using the probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform, as well as pretest and posttest sheets. The effective aspect is shown by the average observation result of the teacher's ability to manage learning with the probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform of 3.6 which is in the very good category; the average observation result of students' mathematical communication skills who were taught using the probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform was 62.47% in the high category; and completeness of student learning by 100%. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the mathematical communication of students who were taught using the probing-prompting learning model using the google meet platform was higher than the mathematical communication of students who were taught using conventional learning. This study aims to develop mobile learning-based mathematics learning media that can be accessed offline, as a solution to the problems faced by students during the learning process from home. The test subjects of this study were 25 students of SMP Taman Sari. The research method uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. From the research process carried out, the results obtained are media that are developed and practical to use. Keyword : Mathematics Learning Media, Applications, Mobile Learning.

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of teachers to manage to learn using the POGIL model and to describe students' critical thinking skills after being taught using the POGIL model. This type of research was quantitative research. The research design used was one group posttest only, with a population of all VII grade students of SMP N 1 Geger, and one class was taken randomly as a sample, namely class VIIC as the sample. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Observations were made to obtain data on the ability of teachers in managing to learn using the POGIL learning model and tests were carried out to obtain data on students' critical thinking abilities. The data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the teacher's ability to manage to learn was said to be effective because the average results of the observed aspects in learning I and II were in good and very good categories. This shows that the teacher has carried out the learning process well and was by the steps of the POGIL learning model. The POGIL learning model was also able to develop students' critical thinking skills because the total percentage of students with high and moderate critical thinking skills was more than 80%. Sumber belajar merupakan unsur penting dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Modul merupakan salah satu sumber belajar yang mampu menunjukkan realitas-realitas sosial kemasyarakatan yang berhubungan langsung dengan isi materi dari sebuah mata pelajaran matematika. Pondok pesantren adalah salah satu realitas sosial kemasyarakatan, tempat siswa menimba ilmu. Dalam mengajarkan matematika yang bersifat abstrak, perlu adanya modul yang berbasis pondok pesantren agar siswa mdah memahami materi matematika. Hal ini dikarenakan berhubungan dengan konteks siswa sebagai santri. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan mengahasilkan modul matematika berbasis pesantren pada materi himpunan untuk kelas X MA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan metode ADDIE dengan tahapan Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek ujicoba pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X MA Raudlatul Muttaqin, Modung, Bangkalan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu validasi, angket respon, dan tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji kevalidan, uji kepraktisan dan uji keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) modul ini dikatakan valid karena berdasarkan hasil penilaian dua validator yaitu dosen dan guru matematika diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 3,835 yang berarti bisa digunakan tanpa revisi, (2) modul ini dikatakan praktis karena berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa diperoleh rata-rata nilai 80,09% yang berarti siswa memeberikan respon positif terhadap modul, serta (3) modul ini dikatakan efektif karena berdasarkan hasil tes hasil belajar siswa diperoleh rata-rata nilai 90,91% yang berarti ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal tercapai.
