Abstract

Background: The role of Adolescent in implementing the Covid-19 vaccine is still lacking due to their maladaptive coping mechanisms, as indicated by unstable emotions. Maladaptive coping mechanisms hinder the optimal functioning of adolescent in vaccine implementation. Therefore, improvements in coping mechanisms are needed to enhance the optimal functioning of teenagers in this regard. This shows that the role of teenagers in implementing the Covid-19 vaccine is still low.    Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine, using Callista Roy's theory, the relationship between coping strategies and the role of adolescents in implementing the Covid-19 vaccine. Methods: This study's design employed a cross-sectional analytical survey method with a population of 132 and a sample of 127 families utilizing proportionate stratified random. A questionnaire on coping strategies, social roles, and psychological discomfort was employed in this study, and the Spearman Rank test was used to analyze the results.   Results: Based on the Spearman's Rank results, there is a relationship between coping strategies, adolescent role function, and psychological pressure in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine because the p-value is smaller than 0.05. Conclusion: Coping strategies, adolescent role functions, and psychological pressure have a significant relationship with the implementation of the covid vaccine in adolescents. As a result, it is recommended to maximize the role of adolescents, one of which is by empowering adolescent Vaccine Ambassadors who can serve as a platform for the aspirations of adolescents in the implementation and socialization of vaccines while also supporting it as a government program.

Abstract

Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), an endocrine disease that causes infertility in reproductive women, characterized by hyperandrogenemia, chronic anovulation, and Polycystic Ovary Morphology (PCOM), most PCOS women have metabolic disorders. The HOMA-IR can be used as a clinical index that is easy and sensitive to assess ovarian function in insulin-resistant PCOS women. The HOMA-IR examination has never been performed on obese PCOS patients in Madurese and Indonesia, it was carried out in Madura because it has the potential for obesity with unfavorable lifestyles such as consuming high carbohydrates and a tendency to obesity in PCOS patients. Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze yoga exercises in reducing HOMA-IR and Insulin Levels in insulin-resistant polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in the Madurese. Methods: Analytic observational study with a case-control study design, a sample of 50 patients (cases of PCOS) and 50 healthy women (non-PCOS) in the Madurese tribe, serum was taken to check HOMA-IR and insulin levels, which were examined in the laboratory. Chi-square statistical test with significance 0.05. Results: The results Chi-square statistical test with significance 0.05 showed that the case group before being given Yoga exercises the average HOMA-IR results were 40.97 and insulin levels were 61.38?l/ml while in the control group the average HOMA-IR results were 1.54 and average insulin levels were 2.9-21?l /ml, after doing Yoga exercises for 12 times and 2 times a week. Conclusion: There is a decrease in the HOMA-IR value and insulin levels. The HOMA-IR values and insulin levels decreased between before and after being given gymnastics in the case group.

Purpose: Analyzing the Strategic Model of Mental Health Nurse Competence and Caregiver in Preventing Relapse Risk in Schizophrenia Patients. Methods: The study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional methodology and included 110 participants, including nurses and caregivers from five community health clinics in East Java Province. The data were obtained using a Likert-scale instrument that was previously validated and reliable. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using the SmartPLS tool. Results: All competency characteristics of psychiatric nurses and caregivers have a substantial and essential relationship to the prevention of relapse risk in schizophrenia patients, with a very high model commitment in producing variations in variables which are dependent variables. Conclusion: Thoroughly enhancing the competence of psychiatric nurses and caregivers is an effective method for lowering relapse rates among schizophrenia patients. Suggestions include enhancing the psychiatric nurse education curriculum, providing competency-based continuing training, and incorporating collaborative care models into health care organizations.
