Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of compensation and work-life balance on teacher loyalty at public elementary schools in Samarinda Kota District. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 93 respondents consisting of ASN (civil servant) and non-ASN teachers from SDN 005, SDN 006, SDN 007, and SDN 011 in Samarinda Kota District. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires. The independent variables in this study were compensation (X1) and work-life balance (X2), while the dependent variable was teacher loyalty (Y). Data analysis involved validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests for model feasibility (Goodness of Fit), and the coefficient of determination test (R²). The results showed that both compensation and work-life balance have a positive influence on teacher loyalty. Improvements in fair compensation and the creation of a balance between work and personal life can enhance teachers' loyalty to their respective schools. The Goodness of Fit test indicated that the regression model used in this study met the feasibility criteria and was significant, making it appropriate for predicting teacher loyalty in public elementary schools in Samarinda Kota District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of green technology and Green Intellectual Capital on sustainability performance. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The data used is secondary data. This study uses 34 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which were selected by purposive sampling method in the 2020-2023 period. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression which is accompanied by other tests such as descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests. The result of this study is that green technology shows a positive direction of influence on sustainability performance, but the test results show that this influence is not significant and statistically declared to have no effect. Similar results are also found in the GIC variable which shows a positive direction of influence on sustainability performance, but the test results show that the influence is not significant and statistically declared to have no effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tekanan stakeholder dan Green Intellectual Capital (GIC) terhadap keunggulan kompetitif pada perusahaan pertambangan batu bara di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Sampel terdiri dari 9 perusahaan tambang batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2023, menghasilkan 36 data observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan stakeholder berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif. Sementara itu, Green Intellectual Capital berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif. Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,412 menunjukkan bahwa tekanan stakeholder dan GIC secara simultan mampu menjelaskan 41,2% variasi dalam keunggulan kompetitif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan GIC yang belum terintegrasi secara strategis, serta respons perusahaan yang cenderung pasif terhadap tekanan eksternal, dapat menurunkan daya saing. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk mengintegrasikan GIC ke dalam strategi inti dan merespons tekanan stakeholder secara proaktif demi mencapai keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the effect of stakeholder pressure and Green Intellectual Capital (GIC) on competitive advantage in coal mining companies in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The sample consists of 9 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023, resulting in 36 observation data. The results of the study indicate that stakeholder pressure has a negative but insignificant effect on competitive advantage. Meanwhile, Green Intellectual Capital has a negative and significant effect on competitive advantage. The Adjusted R² value of 0.412 indicates that stakeholder pressure and GIC simultaneously explain 41.2% of the variation in competitive advantage. This finding indicates that the implementation of GIC that has not been strategically integrated, as well as the company's response that tends to be passive to external pressure, can reduce competitiveness. Therefore, companies are advised to integrate GIC into the core of their strategy and respond proactively to stakeholder pressure in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh komitmen hijau dan green intellectual capital terhadap keunggulan kompetitif pada perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perusahaan pertamabangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan telah diseleksi menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 9 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Total data observasi sebanyak 36 data, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda yang disertai dengan uji lain seperti statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis serta koefisien determinasi dan koefisien korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen hijau menunjukkan arah pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif, sementara Green Intellectual Capital menunjukkan arah pengaruh negatif yang juga tidak signifikan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan work life balance terhadap kinerja akademik mahasiswa paruh waktu di Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. Mahasiswa yang menjalani pekerjaan paruh waktu menghadapi tantangan dalam mengatur waktu antara kuliah dan pekerjaan, yang berpotensi memengaruhi prestasi akademik mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling yang melibatkan 110 responden mahasiswa aktif Program Studi S1 Manajemen yang bekerja paruh waktu. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja dan work life balance secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja akademik mahasiswa. Beban kerja yang sesuai dan keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan studi mampu meningkatkan kinerja akademik mahasiswa paruh waktu. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi mahasiswa dan institusi pendidikan dalam menyusun strategi untuk mendukung keseimbangan peran mahasiswa pekerja.   This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work-life balance on the academic performance of part-time students at the Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan. Students who work part-time face challenges in managing their time between study and work, which has the potential to affect their academic achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method involving 110 respondents of active Management Study Program students who work part-time. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that workload and work-life balance simultaneously and partially had a significant effect on students' academic performance. Appropriate workload and balance between work life and study can improve the academic performance of part-time students. These findings provide important implications for students and educational institutions in developing strategies to support the balance of student-worker roles.

Abstract

Setiap perusuhaan senantiasa berupaya memastikan bahwa para pegawainya bekerja secara produktif untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, termasuk yang diterapkan di Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja dalam memengaruhi produktivitas pegawai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan Google Form. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas 602 pegawai dari Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik sampling slovin, dengan fokus pada pegawai Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda sebanyak 98 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji instrumen, statistik deskriptif, regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis, serta analisis koefisien korelasi dan determinasi, dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 29.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Motivasi kerja di PDAM Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda terbukti memiliki pengaruh parsial yang signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai sedangkan Disiplin kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh parsial yang signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, sehingga hipotesis kedua ditolak kemudian Secara simultan, motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai, sehingga hipotesis ketiga diterima Every company always tries to ensure that its employees work productively to achieve the goals that have been set, including those implemented in the Tirta Kencana Regional Drinking Water Company of Samarinda City. This study aims to examine the extent of the relationship between work motivation and work discipline in influencing employee productivity. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach, with data collection carried out by distributing questionnaires using Google Form. The study population consisted of 602 employees of the Tirta Kencana Regional Drinking Water Company of Samarinda City. The sample was determined using the slovin and hair sampling technique, focusing on 98 respondents of the Tirta Kencana Regional Drinking Water Company of Samarinda City. Data analysis was carried out using instrument tests, descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and correlation and determination coefficient analysis, with the help of SPSS software version 29.0. The results of the study indicate that Work motivation at PDAM Tirta Kencana Samarinda City is proven to have a significant partial influence on employee work productivity while Work discipline does not have a significant partial influence on work productivity, so the second hypothesis is rejected then Simultaneously, work motivation and work discipline have a significant influence on employee work productivity, so the third hypothesis is accepted

Abstract

General Background: Part-time students often face significant challenges balancing academic and work responsibilities. Specific Background: These dual demands can result in psychological strain and limited time, both of which may negatively impact academic performance. Knowledge Gap: Despite growing concern over student well-being, few studies comprehensively assess how mental health and time management interact to influence academic outcomes in part-time populations. Aims: This study investigates the influence of mental health and time management on the academic performance of part-time Management students at Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan. Results: Using a quantitative survey of 110 students and multiple linear regression analysis, the study found that mental health (emotional exhaustion, social support, workload) and time management (planning, prioritization, time discipline, distraction control) significantly and simultaneously predict academic performance (grades, task completion, attendance, goal achievement). Novelty: This research integrates psychological and behavioral factors into a single model of academic success, emphasizing a holistic view of part-time student performance. Implications: Findings suggest that targeted institutional support for mental well-being and time management could enhance academic outcomes, guiding policy and student services toward more effective interventions. Highlights: Highlights the dual impact of mental health and time use on academic success. Uses quantitative data from 110 part-time students for analysis. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work environment on employee work motivation at the Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda) of East Kalimantan Province. Work motivation is an essential factor that drives individuals to perform their tasks optimally. A decline in motivation within Balitbangda is indicated by low employee initiative and tardiness, which are suspected to be influenced by a weak organizational culture and an unsupportive work environment. This research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 67 employees and a saturated sample of 60 respondents. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews, and the data are analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that organizational culture and work environment, both partially and simultaneously, have a significant effect on work motivation. An adaptive and participative organizational culture, as well as a comfortable, safe, and conducive work environment, can enhance employees’ enthusiasm and engagement in carrying out their duties. The coefficient of determination of 53.8% indicates that more than half of the variation in work motivation is explained by these two variables. The practical implication of this study is the importance of leadership attention to strengthening work culture values and improving workplace facilities and comfort to support employee productivity and well-being. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the field of human resource management and can serve as a policy reference for improving the performance of government agencies.

Abstract

Urgensi Penelitian ini terkait meningkatnya tingkat turnover intention karyawan di CV. Surya Metalindo Parts, yang mencapai 27% pada tahun 2024, meningkat signifikan dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya sebesar 3%. Tingginya angka tersebut mengindikasikan adanya permasalahan serius dalam aspek motivasi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan yang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kinerja dan stabilitas perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh diversitas kultural dan work-life balance terhadap turnover intention karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh populasi karyawan berjumlah 130 orang, menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1–6 yang dirancang untuk mengukur tiga variabel, yaitu diversitas kultural, work-life balance, dan turnover intention. Data dianalisis dengan metode regresi linier berganda untuk melihat pengaruh masing-masing variabel secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, diversitas kultural tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai signifikansi 0.068 (p > 0.05), dan work-life balance juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.132 (p > 0.05). Namun, secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.020 (p < 0.05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun masing-masing variabel tidak berpengaruh secara individual, kombinasi diversitas kultural dan work-life balance memiliki dampak bersama terhadap niat karyawan untuk keluar dari perusahaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memperkuat pemahaman manajerial terkait pentingnya pengelolaan keberagaman dan keseimbangan kerja-hidup guna meningkatkan retensi karyawan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih inklusif dan suportif
