Becoming an entrepreneur is one of the opportunities for today's young generation, especially during a pandemic that causes them to lose their jobs. Efforts made by the government to facilitate the emergence of an entrepreneurial spirit are in the form of financial assistance and coaching needed by new entrepreneurs. This study observed three variables that can improve entrepreneurs' business performance: business models, marketing through social media, and product creativity. The three variables are distinguished by gender, membership in online communities, and period of being a food entrepreneur. The study results indicate differences between men and women in the business model and product creativity variables and their online food entrepreneurship community participation. However, there is no difference between men and women as community members on social media marketing.

Abstract

Energy consumption such as oil and gas which still tends to be high makes business opportunities in the energy sector considered to have promising prospects. One of the energy products that are needed by the people of Indonesia is LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). PT XYZ is a 3 kg subsidized LPG agent company that is classified as a highly regulated industry business, namely all of its business activities are supervised and regulated by the government and related agencies in this case through Pertamina. In industries that are tightly regulated, business competition between actors becomes very tight even though the barrier of entry is also high. To be able to enter this industry, business people must meet several requirements including requirements, capital, including the required LPG base permit. This strategy formulation at PT XYZ needs to be studied as a case of applying strategic management theory to a subsidized LPG distribution company. Data processing and data analysis methods in this study used descriptive analysis and three-stage analysis of strategy formulation. A tool for the three-stage analysis of strategy formulation using an internal factor matrix (IFE), external factor matrix (EFE), IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM. Based on the IE matrix score, the position of cooperative is in first quadrant which means growing and building. The formulation of alternative strategies was based on IE matrix analysis and SWOT analysis to produce alternative development strategies. The strategy with the highest priority is based on the results of the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix, namely market penetration with a Sum Total Attractiveness (STAS) value of 6.084. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the business actors in Indonesia that have considerable potential in supporting the national economy. Business incubators are one of the parties that can play a role in assisting the growth and development of micro, small and medium enterprises, but in practice business incubators face various limitations related to human resources, capital, facilities, coaching, technology, market potential and regulations. The influence of these limitations has an impact on the performance of mentoring or coaching, so it is necessary for business incubators to develop their mentoring programmes to be able to provide assistance in accordance with the needs needed by the current fostered tenants, so as to improve the business performance. This research aims to formulate an appropriate development strategy for the IPB Business Incubator by analysing the internal and external environment of the incubator. The method in this research uses the analysis of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), SWOT analysis (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats), and using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that three strategies were recommended for the development of IPB's Business Incubator, namely developing an online marketing platform that can help market tenant products online, developing incubation programmes that can improve tenant competitiveness, and building cooperation with many parties both nationally and internationally. Abstract

Blue swimming crab is a marine product commodity that has high economic value in Indonesia with a capacity of 47,895 kg/day, so there is a potential for shell waste of 25,187 kg/day distributed along Indonesia’s coastline. This shows that there is a high economic potential related to the increase in added value of crab shell waste. Shell waste is much needed by the fertilizer, chitin/chitosan and animal feed industries, but currently the quality of shell waste is not suitable and causes environmental pollution. This project was aimed at increasing the added value of crab shell waste which currently scattered, has various qualities and capacities, and need multi-stakeholder involvement. The solution developed was a collaborative business model in the form of TPLCT that has economic value, has a quality that is suitable for the shell processing industry, has an easy and efficient process, there is information transparency, and reduces environmental pollution. The prototype validation results show that the solution design provided is accepted by partners (APRI), stakeholders, and can answer existing problems. Based on the results of the study it can also be concluded that TPLCT is feasible from a financial perspective with criteria for NPV > 0 (Rp 201,257,103), IRR > BRI Retail SBDK (8.25%), namely 14.67%, B/C Ratio > 1 (1.3), and payback period < assuming a project age of 20 years (4.93 years). The selling price of dry shells increased for the shell, swimming legs, claws and other parts respectively Rp 1456/pcs, Rp 7573/kg, Rp 3786/kg, and Rp 2446/kg. Abstract

A technopreneur's social network is a key factor in the early stages of the entrepreneurial process which includes the stages of searching for ideas, acquiring resources, and gaining legitimacy for the development of his business. It is hoped that a technopreneur's ability to create, manage and maintain social networks can improve the performance of the business he starts. This research aimed to map the social network of technopreneurs in the early stages of their entrepreneurial process and analyze their evolution in the three initial stages. The technopreneur social networks studied were betweenness, centrality, density and diversity. Networks are built using an ego network approach. The egos used were eight new businesses that are members of a business incubator with the criteria of food and non-food agro-industry, business unit age 2 – 5 years, in wall which means having an office in the incubator and out wall which means having an office outside the incubator. The network was analyzed using software. The results of the analysis show that technopreneurs who are on the in wall have a denser network than those on the out wall due to the large number of actors who come from the incubator network. The parameter values of betweenness, centrality, diversity and density change at each stage of the entrepreneurial process. Technopreneurs need diversity and betweenness in the idea search phase to increase the flow of information and ideas. Technopreneurs need centrality and density in the resource acquisition phase to increase resource access. Centrality and density are needed in the legitimacy phase to increase a technopreneur's reputation. Keywords: agroindustry, entrepreneurial stages, social networking, technopreneur
