Abstract

This study aims to produce textbooks on Fundamentals of Accounting and Financial Institutions based on learning style differentiation as an alternative teaching material for teachers and student classes at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya, which consist of State Vocational School 1 Surabaya, State Vocational School 4 Surabaya, State Vocational School 6 Surabaya, and State Vocational School 10 Surabaya as well as knowing the effectiveness of using accounting textbooks based on learning style differentiation. The product produced in this study is a textbook on Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance adapted to the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a research that uses mixed methods consisting of development research and experimental research. The development was carried out using the 4D development model from Thiagarajan which was carried out in full, namely definition, design, development and deployment. Data in this study were collected using questionnaires and tests and analyzed using descriptive analysis of proportions and t test (paired-samples t test). The results showed that overall the average proportion of eligibility for open books was very feasible. This shows that the developed textbook has valid criteria and is feasible to use. Based on the results of the t test (paired-samples t test) it is known that there are differences in motivation and student learning outcomes before and after being given treatment in the form of accounting textbooks based on learning style differentiation which indicates that textbooks have an effective effect.

Abstract

Objective: The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on Indonesia's economy as a whole. The implementation of social distancing measures and subsequent Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) have led to companies downsizing and employees working from home. This has had a negative effect on the output of these companies and has necessitated action by the government to accelerate the recovery of all economic sectors. This study provides an overview of the student paradigm of entrepreneurship with a focus on the key variables of entrepreneurship education components, facilities and infrastructure, and entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, the study aims to explore the influence of these variables on entrepreneurial intention and to provide recommendations from student problem. Method: This research employs a quantitative and objectives addressed using two data analysis techniques: descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention, as do facilities and infrastructure. Additionally, the study found that entrepreneurship education and facilities and infrastructure both have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Novelty: The focus of this research involves master's degree students which are still little researched because most previous research has examined undergraduate students or the general public.

Abstract

This paper analyses Indonesian primary students’ Mathematical literacy in solving PISA like problems. The instruments were administered to 254 sixth graders from five different regions in Surabaya, Indonesia with various social background. There were three contents (quantity, Uncertainty and data, space and shape) and three level problems (High, Medium and Easy) used to develop Mathematics Literacy Test (MLT). Three students’ categories (Good, Middle and Low) were established by cluster analysis methodology. The most students’ challenge on MLT was space and shape as well as uncertainty and data’s content problem. The description of profile of primary students’ mathematical literacy related to MLT are worthy to suggest the design of learning lines for primary students to have more opportunity to learn and solve Mathematics literacy problem.
