Abstract

Along with the increasing number of persons with disabilities, the need for prosthetic foot has also increased. However, the irony is that some of the products circulating in Indonesia are still imported from abroad, while the domestic product is quite limited and possesses some drawbacks. This study aims to study the production process of the single axis type of the right-side prosthetic foot as well as to evaluate the performance of this product. The prosthetic foot in this research was made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) resin and prepared with casting by pouring it into a pre-fabricated mold. A single-axis type of right prosthetic product could have been successfully made in this study with men's shoe sizes EU 42 and a mass of 654 g. The result of evaluation of the material and foot prosthetic product showed an average Shore hardness value of 54.3 HA. According to the result of compression test, this prosthetic product was also able withstand the highest compressive load up to 259.76 kgf. Finally, the result of fatigue test showed no damage on the foot prosthetic product until 90.000 cycle.

Abstract

Rumah yang sangat sederhana dalam desainnya menawarkan potensi untuk efisiensi ruang, serta luasnyamemberikan ruang untuk adaptasi fungsi ruang seiring berjalannya waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengidentifikasi atribut desain yang dapat mengakomodasi perubahan kebutuhan sepanjang sikluskehidupan, dengan fokus pada kesinambungan dan keberlanjutan hunian sederhana agar dapat dihuni secaraoptimal dalam jangka panjang. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan ke salah satu perumahan subsidi denganpenjualan terbanyak pada tahun 2023 di Kabupaten Kendal. Metode yang dilakukan dengan penyebarankuesioner dengan sampel melebihi jumlah yang sudah ditentukan yaitu 117 responden. Berdasarkankuesioner, ruang yang sering digunakan dengan pilihan terbanyak yaitu kamar tidur sebesar 91%. Lebarefektif yang cukup untuk sirkulasi 1 orang pengguna kursi roda 86,98 cm. Ukuran pintu satu daunmenggunakan lebar pintu 90 cm sudah dapat digunakan. Setelah semua dimensi dan persentil yang sudahdihitung untuk perhitungan luas kamar double didapatkan panjang kamar yang direkomendasikan yaitu326,98 cm berasal dari 200 cm (panjang kasur) + 40 cm (lebar almari) + 86,98 cm (sirkulasi) yang akandidesain menjadi 337 cm dengan kelonggaran 10 cm dan ukuran lebar kamar yang direkomendasikan yaitu333,96 cm berasal dari 160 cm (lebar kasur) + 173,96 cm (sirkulasi) yang akan didesain menjadi 344 cmdengan kelonggaran 10 cm. Pada perhitungan luas kamar single, lebar efektif untuk sirkulasi 1 orang denganlebar bahu menggunakan persentil 95 laki-laki sebesar 50,4 cm sehingga lebar kamar yangdirekomendasikan yaitu 200,4 cm berasal dari 90 cm (lebar kasur) + 50,4 cm (sirkulasi) + 60 cm (mejabelajar) yang akan didesain menjadi 210 cm dengan kelonggaran 10 cm dan panjang kamar disamakandengan ukuran kamar double. Abstract

The color of denture base material is important in dentistry to achieve a natural gingival aesthetic. No universal standard for denture base color, due to it difficult for dentists and dental laboratory technicians to achieve consistent results. This study proposes a method for identifying the color of artificial gums made from heated cure polymers with coloring agents. This study also examined the effect adding color agent on the hardness of denture base material and the effect of artificial saliva immersion on coloring. New coloring agents, namely pink (P), red (M), and purple (U), were added to create new colors in this study. Seven specimens from light to dark colors were made. The resulting specimens were photographed and analyzed using Adobe Photoshop software to obtain the L*, a*, and b* values for each specimen, which were then analyzed using the CIELAB formula. The results of the material hardness test showed a significant change between the immersion and non-immersion groups (p-value 0.00<0.05), while the group between 10-day and 20-day immersion showed no significant change (p-value 0.65>0.05). In materials without added color, the hardness value is 85.3 - 86.3 HSD, while in materials with added color, the hardness value increases to 85.5 - 87.7 HSD. The results of the saliva immersion test showed changes in the range of 2.51 - 5.98 for 10 days of immersion and 0.85 - 4.22 for 20 days of immersion. Based on these results, most of the color changes are still below the clinical acceptance threshold of less than 4.1. Therefore, it can be concluded that the color changes that occur after soaking are still clinically acceptable.

Abstract

The handheld grinding machine used for cutting materials has generated noise that may affect the operator and individuals nearby. The noise produced by this machine needs to be analyzed to prevent potential health impacts. This study aims to measure the noise levels the handheld grinding machine generates while cutting materials such as ceramic, metal, and natural stone. Noise measurements were taken at the noise source and distances of 2 meters, 3 meters, and 4 meters from the source. A sound level meter was used for the noise measurements. The study's results indicate that the type of material being cut using the handheld grinder does not significantly affect the noise level produced. The highest noise level was recorded when cutting the plate, with an equivalent continuous sound level (Leq) of 91.6 dB at the source. The lowest noise level was recorded when cutting ceramic material, with a Leq of 89.7 dB. Statistical tests on the distance and measurement locations at 2 meters, 3 meters, and 4 meters from the source showed that the distance does not significantly affect the noise level. At distances of 2 meters and 3 meters, the average Leq for all materials was the same, ata 94.2 dB, while at 4 meters, the average Leq was slightly lower, at 93.9 dB.

Abstract

A prototype of a single-axis prosthetic foot is proposed as an alternative prosthetic foot for patients with disabilities to perform daily activities. Three leading positions within 0-64% of the gait cycle are heel strike, midstance, and toe-off positions used as boundary conditions. The Finite Element Method can analyze a model to determine the values of deformation, stress, and strain that occur in detail. This research is conducted to fabricate an optimal prosthetic foot product or prototype and determine its strength to support the weight of the user's body and provide comfort and safety before being fabricated using 3D printing and resin infusion methods. The fabrication of the prosthetic foot prototype used Fusion 360 software and continued with simulation testing using ABAQUS 6.14 software. The prototype model was designed and evaluated to obtain strength and feasibility before being fabricated with an Anycubic Photon Mono X type DLP 3D printing machine and resin infusion method. The results obtained in this study show that the prototype of a single-axis prosthetic foot can support the human body's weight with loading level P3 or 60 kg, level P4 or 80 kg, and level P5 or 100 kg according to ISO 10328. The mass of the prototype or single-axis prosthetic foot product is 657 grams, according to the criteria, not more than 1.7% of the user's total body weight, with a hardness value of 55.5 HA, and can withstand 50,000 cycles in fatigue testing.

Abstract

Mental health is an important part in addition to physical health. Mental health problems are also faced by health workers due to the relatively high burden in their work. Based on the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mental health is one of the areas of health and well-being. On the other hand, excessive workload is a source of fatigue, which is the root of burnout. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between workload and mental health of health workers in a hospital. This study used a non-experimental method, namely cross sectional. Data were obtained from 49 respondents through a survey using an online questionnaire distributed by convenience sampling method. Respondents consisted of doctors (specialist and general), nurses, midwives, and pharmaceutical technical personnel. The workload questionnaire was adopted from the NASA-TLX, while mental health used the MBI-TBI. Relationship analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 4.0. The workload results obtained from this study were 65.87 or in the high category, with an allocation of very high workload of 27%, high as much as 53%, somewhat high 18%, and medium 2% of the total respondents. Factors related to mental load, physical load, and effort are the most dominant factors. The results for mental health obtained that emotional exhaustion in health workers is in the medium category (51%), personal achievement in the high category (80%), and for depersonalization in the high category (57%). The results of the correlation test between workload and the three factors on mental health found that workload has a significant relationship with the factors of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization (cynicism) with a probability of both <0.005, namely 0.000 and 0.001. The results of this study indicate that workload in health workers affects mental health, namely emotional exhaustion by 0.457 and depersonalization by 0.397. Thus, in order to maintain the mental health of health workers, intervention recommendations need to be made according to the results of this study.workload; mental health; healthcare workers, NASA-TLX; PLS-SEM

Abstract

AbstrakBeberapa kekurangan yang terjadi dalam penggunaan canting tradisional menjadi dasar Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik melakukan penelitian tentang rekayasa canting listrik (cantrik), mengingat begitu pentingnya alat tersebut dalam pembuatan batik khususnya batik tulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi cantrik lama sebagai dasar perbaikan dalam pengembangan cantrik supaya diperoleh cantrik yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Penelitian dilakukan di Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik, pengambilan data tentang evaluasi cantrik lama dengan kuesioner I, data kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna diketahui dari kuesioner II yang diolah berdasarkan metode Kano dan QFD. Hasil evaluasi dari cantrik lama adalah tidak ergonomis, untuk memperoleh cantrik yang sesuai keinginan, faktor teknik yang perlu diperbaiki dalam pengembangan cantrik yaitu: mekanisme, model sesuai dengan pekerjaan, kualitas bahan, ukuran sesuai dengan antropometri, keringanan bahan, dan kekuatan bahan. Kata Kunci: Canting elektrik, evaluasi, faktor teknis AbstractSome disadvantages which are found in utilization of traditional canting, are the main reasons for Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik in conducting research to develop an electrical canting  (Cantrik), given the importance of these tools in batik making process, specifically written batik. This research aims to evaluate old cantrik, as a basic to develop it into a cantrik which fulfill the needs of batik makers.This research is conducted at Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik. The data about old cantrik evaluation are collected using questionnaire I, while data of users’ requirements are obtained using questionnaire II, which then are proceeded using Kano method and QFD. The evaluation results of old cantrik show that it does not meet ergonomic requirements. To obtain appropriate cantrik, it needs some technical factor improvements, namely: mechanism, suitable model for work, quality of materials, sizes according to Anthropometry, Materials light weight, and strength. Keywords: Electrical canting, evaluation, technical factor

Abstract

Kerajinan batik kulit merupakan kerajinan batik pada bahan kulit samak. Salah satu proses pada batik kulit yang masih menjadi masalah adalah proses melepas lilin dari kulit, karena alat tekan yang dipunyai mempunyai kapasitas yang terbatas dan belum memenuhi kaidah ergonomika. Pekerja yang melakukan aktivitas melepas lilin mempunyai postur kerja membungkuk, kaki menekuk, bahu terangkat ke atas dan tangan terus menerus berada pada posisi tidak netral. Dengan adanya alat press yang baru, memberi dampak baik pada postur kerja. Software CATIA V5R20 digunakan untuk memodelkan pekerja saat melepas lilin dari kulit dan digunakan untuk menganalisa postur kerja. REBA merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan evaluasi postur kerja. Hasil analisis postur kerja menunjukkan bahwa pekerja dengan menggunakan alat pres generasi pertama mempunyai risiko tinggi dengan skor REBA sebesar 12 dan 10. Pengembangan desain alat pres membuktikan dapat mengurangi risiko dari sangat tinggi menjadi sedang, dan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas melepas lilin dari kulit berupa sandal sebesar 67%, tas sebesar 86% dan dompet sebesar 88%.
