Abstract

Peraturan desa diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa. Peraturan desa adalah peraturan perundang-undangan yang ditetapkan oleh Kepala Desa setelah dibahas dan disepakati bersama BPD. Peraturan desa merupakan kerangka hukum kebijakan dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pembangunan di desa yang substansinya merupakan penjabaran atas berbagai kewenangan yang dimiliki desa dengan mengacu pada ketentuan perundang-undangan yang lebih tinggi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat akan arti pentingnya peraturan desa yang merupakan perangkat dasar legitimasi penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa dan sebagai acuan dalam melaksanakan pemerintahan dan pembangunan di desa demi terwujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan (ceramah) dan diskusi (tanya jawab). Adapun temuan yang didapatkan, bahwa masyarakat belum memahami secara utuh mengenai peran Undang-undang Desa dalam meningkatkan kesjahteraan masyarakat dan peningkatan daya saing desa. Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut, masyarakat khususnya di desa Lipu telah mendapatkan informasi mengenai peraturan desa dengan berbagai manfaat yang ada didalamnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to assist village owned enterprises (BUMDes) through two approaches, namely strengthening BUMDes institutions based on collaboration and increasing the competence of BUMDes resources with entrepreneurial innovation. The method used in this community service activity is carried out in three stages, namely observation, workshop, and mentoring. Through this PKM, BUMDes Lamando Jaya was able to formulate a potential map and create a business plan document that can be applied to BUMDes’ governance. BUMDes administrators are able to bridge community programs as a village government agenda. Also through this program, BUMDes managers can optimize social media as a means of tourism and business promotion through educating content creation and photography techniques.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the instillation of knowledge about fire disaster mitigation from an early age carried out by the Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The results of this research are that the Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service held training and education on fire disaster preparedness and response. This activity was divided into two sessions, the first session presented educational material introducing fire disasters, the second session focused on fire education and continued with a simulation of how to deal with fire disasters using basic fire extinguishers including wet sacks and light fire extinguishers (APAR). Apart from that, the Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service also provides a fire engine and allows students to ride it. Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service offers training to improve the skills of all students. When the Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service deploys resources in the school environment, it is important to know the steps that must be taken in the event of a disaster and the losses that will be suffered. The Baubau City Fire and Rescue Service routinely involves school students, local communities and other organizations to conduct outreach and training regarding fire prevention and management. This was done to reduce the number of fires that occurred in Baubau City.

Abstract

It is important to remember that the fact that there are many people who have not registered on the Permanent Voters List (DPT) indicates that the quality of the voters list is low. Conversely, the fact that fewer voters are not registered on the DPT indicates that the quality of the voters list is better, even though it is not categorised as good. So that in facing the 2024 Election, it is necessary to ensure readiness in its implementation, one of which is by conducting Technical Guidance for officers who are directly related as the spearhead of the validity of Voter data. The methods used are lectures and discussions, the results obtained from PKM are that officers get information and knowledge in updating voter data so that problems that often occur in organising elections do not recur.

Abstract

The 4.0 and 5.0 era in utilizing technology to improve public services and governance will be a challenge for the government, especially local governments today. Digital transformation for better governance can have an impact on public services, increase citizen engagement, and encourage economic growth. The focus of this research is how digital transformation policies are implemented through the implementation of e-government in the South Buton Regency Regional Government. The observation method is combined with qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that, compared to other countries, especially in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is still far behind in terms of local government digital transformation. The absence of implementation standardization, inadequate human resources, uneven infrastructure, lack of community involvement, and lack of government commitment are some of the inhibiting factors. The West Java Provincial Government is undergoing digital transformation. One example is the implementation of e-government by the South Buton government. For e-government development to run smoothly, everyone must work together.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on children's physical growth, cognitive development, quality of life, and future productivity. Efforts to prevent stunting require multi-sectoral interventions, one of which is through optimizing the role of Family Planning (KB) counselors and Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) cadres as key actors at the community level. This study aims to analyze the role of KB counselors in preventing stunting in at-risk families in Saragi Village, Buton Regency, by reviewing the dimensions of education and counseling, family assistance, cross-sector coordination, and program monitoring. The research approach used a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with KB counselors, Posyandu cadres, pregnant women, families of toddlers, and community leaders. The results showed that KB counselors have a significant contribution in increasing family knowledge and awareness regarding the definition of stunting, its causative factors, and its impact on child health. Education was provided through group counseling, IEC, and home visits, which have proven effective in influencing nutritional behavior, parenting patterns, and utilization of health services. In terms of mentoring, extension workers conduct regular visits to monitor the condition of pregnant women and toddlers, detect stunting risks, and provide nutritional and health recommendations tailored to the family's circumstances. Coordination with health workers, village officials, and Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) cadres strengthens the program's effectiveness, although challenges remain, including limited facilities and cross-sectoral workloads. Furthermore, a family's economic situation significantly impacts the ability to provide nutritious food, so extension workers play a role in providing adaptive nutrition management strategies tailored to household capacity. This study concludes that the success of stunting prevention is influenced by the synergy between the active role of family planning extension workers, the support of Posyandu cadres, and the behavior and well-being of families.
