Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of human ability (Qufratul Insan) in the process of Islamic education. The approach used is qualitative, namely research on the condition of natural objects, where researchers as a key instrument. The data collection technique is done by triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive, and the results of the study emphasize the meaning rather than generalization. The results of the discussion showed that the human potential given by Allah SWT in the form of vision, hearing, and heart that all three have a relationship where hearing functions to maintain knowledge that has been found from the results of learning and learning, vision functions to develop knowledge and add research results by conducting further studies. The heart is in charge of cleansing knowledge of all bad qualities.)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how the management of character education based on the five souls at Pondok Pesantren Darul Muttaqien Bogor. The method used in this research is descriptive method which aims to describe and describe the phenomena in the field, namely scientific phenomena. The results showed that the five souls as the foundation for character education in Islamic boarding schools contain five values, including the value of sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and the value of freedom. Where these five values must be practiced as much as possible so that the students become strong and tough Muslim personalities like buildings that have a solid foundation, and for those who can practice them well, it will be easy to meet the future as well as possible.

Abstract

The revolution in the field of information technology today has been able to change fundamentally the social order of society. The presence of information technology provides a lot of comfort for humans, but it also has a destructive side that threatens young generation. This paper through the study of literature aims to analyse the extent of the urgency and strategy of moral education for young generations of Muslims in the Disruption Era. The results of this study show the increasing importance of moral education for the younger generation, even becoming a primary need. This is due to a variety of morality problems that are increasingly widespread in this era with easy access to information technology. For that, the steps that need to be pursued to build individuals who have good morality, namely by: 1) providing a comprehensive understanding of the concept of morality; 2) giving and showing an example; 3) prevent learners to dissolve in pleasure and luxury; 4) strengthen the relationship between educators and students; 5) use a variety of methods in accordance with the conditions of students; and 6) building and controlling the environment of students (the surrounding environment and the influence of cyberspace).

Abstract

The study aims to find out al-Zarnuji’s basic concept of knowledge, learning material, ethic, strategy, process and his contribution as well as to explain conceptual model on the basis of his thought at the institutions. In Pesantren Kebon Jambu al-Islami, Buntet and Bendakerep Cirebon, the Kitab Ta’līm al-Muta’allim is used as main reference of learning ethic. The study used qualitative research method. Source and kind of data were determined by the researcher as information center with purposive trait as long as it is supposedly representative.  The result indicates that the implementation of the book Ta’līm al-Muta’allim at those pesantrens was less satisfactory due to textual understanding. In order to effectively implement the book Ta’līm al-Muta’allim at those institutions, the contextual description is required.

Abstract

Students whom felt that school environment was conducive and according to his/her needs and motivation will have positive image and perception towards their school. This positive perception could be seen that students felt that schooling environment will have full support for their learning progress while following all academic and learning activities at their school have major impact on their progress also—both of which would given great contribution on their participation in learning activities—while also helped them to be more focused and more disciplined. An implementation of fairness on rules, award and punishment were also contributed to the feeling that students felt that they were also part of their school and increasing their sense of belongings to their community—which then would lead and motivate them more to achieve higher achievement both inside and outside of school environment.Sample population in this research are students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sarongge which consisted of 70 students—which would then made this research as a population research since in this case the research was conducted on a large scope of areas with all the subjects were made as samples. Statistic technique used in this research to manipulate and process data acquired from data gathering is a Spearman Rank’s Correlation. As from this research concluded, we could see that there is a 0.535 correlation between students perception towards schooling environment with learning motivation. Furthermore, we could also find out a positive correlation between academic emphasize aspect and expectation of success with learning motivation—which means that the higher perception those students had, the higher learning motivation built up inside them which would then resulted in higher expectation of success both from school authority and themselves.

Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang penulis lakukan di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Tasikmalaya, terdapat aktifitas menghafal al-Quran yang dilaksanakan setiap hari. Aktivitas ini akan membentuk kepribadian conscientiousness yang baik. Dari pada itu penulis bermaksud mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitas santri menghafal al-Quran dengan kepribadian conscientiousness santri di tempat penelitian berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif korelatif. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, anget, studi kepustakaan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, ditemukan bahwa aktivitas santri menghafal al-Quran di tempat penelitian termasuk pada kategori tinggi, hal tersebut berdasarkan skor 4,06 berada pada kelas interval 3,40 – 4,19; (2) kepribadian conscientiousness santri di tempat penelitian termasuk pada kategori tinggi, hal tersebut berdasarkan skor 4,17 berada pada kelas interval 3,40 – 4,19; (3) hubungan aktivitas santri menghafal Al-Quran dengan kepribadian conscientiousness santri di tempat penelitian termasuk kategori sangat rendah, dengan koefisien korelasi 0,084 yang berada pada skala korelasi 0,000 – 0,199. Hipotesisnya diterima, berdasarkan hasil thitung (0,439) > ttabel (0,349) dan derajat pengaruhnya sebesar 33%.

Abstract

Khazanah Islam yang kaya dari pemikir klasik hingga saat ini dapat menjadi referensi yang sesuai untuk diaktualisasikan oleh Guru PAI. Salah satu pemikir tersebut ialah Imam Nawawi ad-Dimasyqi. Persoalannya ialah: bagaimana urgensi etika guru menurut Imam Nawawi bagi Guru PAI? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi etika guru menurut Imam Nawawi bagi Guru PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan analisis konten. Adapun teknik pengumpulannya menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan suatu kesimpulan bahwa urgensi etika guru menurut Imam Nawawi bagi guru PAI: (a) berkenaan dengan profesi: sikap peduli terhadap murid;  dan (b) berkenaan dengan tantangan pendidikan modern: niat yang ikhlas dalam mengajar. Dengan niat yang ikhlas dan sikap peduli terhadap murid, guru PAI akan meningkatkan kualitas, memperoleh keberkahan ilmu, dan dapat menjalankan perannya secara totalitas.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to find out how urgent iffah is for the school community, which is focused on students at one of the Aliyah Madrasahs, to be precise in Sulawesi. This research is an action research on students by giving a questionnaire consisting of fifteen questions. The research subjects consisted of 50 students. The research data was obtained through documentation of the results of quantitative data collection. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis technique. data validation using the method triangulation technique. The results showed that currently 70% of students have implemented the nature of iffah in their daily lives. Familiarize yourself with good things between each other and keep yourself away from all the prohibitions of Allah SWT. shows that students are trying to carry out iffah. The nature of iffah according to Ibn Masawaih in his book tahdzibul akhlaq, is an ability that humans have to withstand the impulses of their passions. The nature of iffah has its derivative properties, namely al-haya, qana'ah, sakho, and waro. And in practice, the nature of iffah is divided into 2, namely refrain from pubic lust and refrain from abdominal lust. Abstrak: Tulisan ini di bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa urgen iffah bagi masyarakat sekolah, yang di fokuskan kepada para siswi di salah satu Madrasah Aliyah tepatnya di Sulawesi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan terhadap siswa dengan memberi kuisioner yang terdiri dari lima belas pertanyaan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui dokumentasi hasil pengumpulan data kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan Teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Validasi data dengan menggunakan Teknik triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada saat ini 70% siswa sudah menerapkan sifat iffah dalam kesehariannya. Membiasakan diri dengan hal-hal baik antar sesama dan menjaga diri dengan menjauhi segala larangan Allah swt. menunjukkan bahwa siswi memang berusaha melaksanakan iffah. Adapun Sifat iffah menurut Ibnu maskawaih di dalam kitabnya tahdzibul akhlaq, ialah suatu kemampuan yang dimiliki manusia untuk menahan dorongan hawa nafsunya. Sifat iffah mempunyai turunan turunan sifat, yakni al-haya, qana’ah, sakho, dan waro. Dan dalam pengamalannya, sifat iffah terbagi 2, yakni menahan diri dari syahwat kemaluan dan menahan diri dar syahwat perut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the attitude of santri toward parenting boarding schools (2) discipline in congregational prayers (3) the attitude of santri towards parenting boarding schools in relation to their discipline in congregational prayer at Islamic boarding school students of the Qur'an Orphans and dhuafa Al-Lathifah. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is the correlation research method which is a study comparing the measurement results of the two variables whether there is a relationship between variable X (students' attitudes toward boarding school parenting) and Y variable (discipline in congregational prayer). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that (1) the attitude of students toward parenting boarding schools obtained an average value of 4.16, with positive qualifications because it is in the interval from 3.40 to 4.19, (2) discipline in congregational prayer obtains a value of 4.5 with high qualifications because it is in the interval 3.40 - 4.19 (3) Whereas students' attitudes toward the boarding school parenting relationship with discipline in prayer in congregation are (a) the correlation coefficient value of 0.34 with low qualifications because are at intervals (0,200 - 0,399), (b) Hypotheses are accepted. This means that the more positive attitude of students towards parenting boarding schools, the higher the level of discipline in congregational prayer, because it shows tcount 2.40> ttable 0.29 and (c) the degree of influence between variable X and Y variables there is a significant relationship that has an influence by 6% means that it is estimated that there are still other influences of 94% which affect both internal and external factors on discipline in congregational prayer.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren (2) kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah (3) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren hubungannya dengan kedisiplinan mereka dalam salat berjamaah pada santri Pondok Pesantren Qur’an Yatim piatu dan dhuafa Al-Lathifah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian korelasi yaitu penelitian yang membandingkan hasil pengukuran dari dua variabel apakah ada hubungan antara variabel X (sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren) dan variabel Y (kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa (1) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,16, dengan kualifikasi positif karena berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19, (2) kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah memperoleh nilai 4,5 dengan kualifikasi tinggi karena berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19 (3) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren hubungannya dengan kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah adalah (a) nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,34 dengan kualifikasi rendah karena berada pada interval (0,200 – 0,399), (b) Hipotesis diterima. Artinya semakin positif sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah, karena menunjukkan thitung 2,40 > ttabel 0,29 dan (c) derajat pengaruh antara variabel X dan variabel Y terdapat hubungan yang signifikan yaitu memiliki pengaruh sebesar 6% artinya diperkirakan masih ada pengaruh lain sebesar 94% yang mempengaruhi baik dari faktor internal maupun eksternal terhadap kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah.

Abstract

Religious radicalism occurred due to the understanding of the faith that is not true, because faith is not really going to lead to a blind fanatic behavior, impose his will and being loud and rude. While true faith will lead to right behavior. Creed became especially on the matter at the madrasah madrasahaliyah. Based on the analysis of the material on the creed of madrasah aliyah that have different backgrounds such as NahdlatulUlama (NU), Muhammadiyah and Persis that there is the same concept of the urgency of the true faith and creed learning efforts that will result in learners madrasah aliyah for blind fanatics, tough and rough. Although it furu'iyah they have all kinds of differences, but for the affairs of the same creed is based on the belief ahlussunnahwalJama'ah. Analysis of the material MA moral theology is necessary to fortify the faith of the students with the correct creed that is not easily influenced by creeds that actually mislead them and afflict the lives of the people of Indonesia. This research method using qualitative methods were trying to find the details about the curriculum of moral theology at three study sites. Results of this study found that the condition of moral theology curriculum at three study sites is referring to the curriculum of religious ministry RI to plus materials typical of the three study sites. The efforts made on the three research sites in avoiding radicalism is through learning that does not make learners fanatic and violent.
