Abstract

There are still many people who pay less attention to calories, both the amount of calorie needs of the body and the number of calories that have been consumed. One of the contributing factors is the difficulty of manually calculating the number of calories itself. Meanwhile, consulting with nutritionists is expensive.It's very risky for health. So made an application monitoring the number of calories. It applies goal directed design (GDD) method. In this study, usability test was conducted using 3 aspects of usability, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in accordance with ISO-9241-11 standard that produces effectiveness value of 97%, efficiency value of 66%, and satisfaction value of 86.75%. A total of 92.5% of respondents felt helped in calculating their calorie count. 97.5% of respondents felt more alert to diabetes after using the app, and 62.5% of respondents said that they would re-use the app for daily use in the future.

Abstract

The low interest in learning among Indonesian students is a major challenge in the world of education. Uninteresting teaching methods often make students lose their motivation to learn. Therefore, the development of innovative and interactive Internet of Things (IoT) learning materials using LEGO Education and Elecfreaks NEZHA Kit, especially for children with special needs, is the main focus of this activity. This activity involved three lecturers from Duta Wacana Christian University and a team of teachers from the Robotics Education Center (REC) Yogyakarta branch. The results of the activity showed that the use of LEGO Education and Elecfreaks NEZHA Kit was effective in increasing students' interest in learning, developing critical thinking skills, problem solving, and collaboration. Challenges in implementation include the limited number of sensors and actuators and the need for material adjustments. Suggestions for further development include the addition of sensors and actuators, ongoing training for teachers, and regular evaluation of learning materials. In addition, this activity also provides recommendations for improving the quality of teaching through ongoing training for teachers and regular evaluation of the learning materials that have been developed. Thus, it is hoped that a more inclusive and adaptive learning environment can be created for children with special needs, as well as improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Yogyakarta, renowned as a student city, is also one of Indonesia's top tourist destinations. Its distinctive local culture attracts many visitors, particularly for traditional shopping experiences. An application named Sipasar now offers information about the traditional markets in Yogyakarta. Additionally, the tourism information currently available from the government agency TIC (Tourist Information Center) is only provided in the form of brochures. This information is not very comprehensive as it is limited to the brochure and is also not very up to date because the brochures are printed only in certain years. There is a need to develop an application that can fulfill the tourism information needs of Yogyakarta from the Sipasar application. Besides containing market information, this application also serve as a tour guide capable of providing route and navigation guidance, as well as helping tourists obtain information about local tourist destinations. To address these requirements, an Android-based application called Sipasar Tour Guide was developed. The application underwent blackbox testing to verify the functionality of all features. Moreover, the application was evaluated by respondents using the MARS (Mobile Application Rating Scale) method. This method involved 25 respondents using the application first, then answering questions by giving ratings on a scale of 1 which is the worst to 5 which is the best score. The data analysis results showed that the designed Sipasar Tour Guide application successfully met the needs of providing tourism information to users which is proven by the score of the average from all the answers at 4,5 of 5 scales or 90%, as well as providing routes and navigation for trips. This was proven not only by the results of the blackbox testing but also by the respondents' ratings during the application testing using the MARS method. The highest ratings from the four dimensions (usability, functionality, aesthetics, and information quality) were in functionality and information quality, with percentages of 92.4% and 91.6%, respectively.

Abstract

Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat saat ini menangani 54 orang klien dengan gangguan jiwa skizofrenia, dipantau oleh oleh 4 orang terdiri dari 1 pembina, 2 psikolog (klinis dan sosial), dan 1 asisten medis. Proses pemantauan menggunakan pencatatan harian secara manual dalam buku catatan eval_uasi, dari pantauan peneliti sistem ini terbukti kurang informatif dan sulit dipahami, menyulitkan pemantau dalam memantau dan memahami perkembangan kesehatan klien. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi, peneliti memfokuskan permasalahan penelitian pada sumber data kesehatan klien yang diperoleh dari buku catatan eval_uasi harian Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat. Penyimpanan data pada dashboard akan merujuk pada buku catatan eval_uasi harian, yang mencakup catatan kesehatan mental dan medis klien. Penerapan hasil penelitian ditujukan untuk memperbaiki sistem pemantauan kesehatan klien di Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat, khususnya untuk pembina, psikolog, dan asisten medis yang terlibat dalam pemantauan dan perawatan klien. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah dashboard analitik sesuai dengan KPI yang dibuat berdasarkan buku catatan harian klien dengan tingkat informatif 63% dan tingkat kemudahan sebesar 71%.

Abstract

Industri batik printing memproduksi tekstil bermotif batik dengan cara menduplikasinya melalui mesin-mesin printing, sehingga proses pengerjaannya bisa lebih cepat serta harga jual yang lebih murah dan ini memberikan ancaman bagi perkembangan batik asli. Ditambah lagi ketidaktahuan masyarakat dalam membedakan antara batik asli dan produk tekstil bermotif batik, telah menyebabkan masyarakat rentan dengan upaya penipuan oknum penjual batik dan memunculkan kecenderungan membeli produk tekstil bermotif batik yang harganya lebih murah. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu alat bantu berupa aplikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk mengenali keaslian batik, sekaligus sebagai media belajar tentang berbagai hal terkait batik asli. Dari hasil diskusi dengan para penjual batik, diharapkan aplikasi tersebut mampu menampilkan informasi keaslian batik yang mudah dibaca serta memiliki kecepatan tampil yang stabil, walau diambil dari jarak pindai yang berbeda serta sudut kemiringan yang berbeda, sehingga dalam penelitian ini, diputuskan untuk menggunakan library AR.js dalam aplikasi e-label batik.Abstract The batik printing industry produces batik-patterned textiles by duplicating them through printing machines, thus the process may be faster and the selling price is cheaper, and this poses a threat to the development of original batik. The ignorance of the community in distinguishing between original batik and textile products with batik motifs, has caused the community to be vulnerable to fraudulent attempts from the sellers of batik and led to the tendency to buy batik-patterned textile products at a lower price. Hence, needed a tool in the form of applications that can be used by the public to recognize the authenticity of batik, as well as a medium of learning about various things related to original batik.  The discussions with batik sellers resulted that the application is expected to be able to display the authenticity information on batik that is easy to read and has a stable speed in displaying messages, even though taken from different scan distances and different slope angles, thus in this study, it was decided to use the library. AR.js in the e-label batik application.

Abstract

Masa lansia merupakan suatu masa dimana kondisi fisik, kesehatan bahkan kognitif dari individu mulai mengalami penurunan. Dengan menurunnya kondisi kesehatan lansia, maka dibutuhkan perawatan kesehatan yang intensif dan cepat serta mudah untuk membantu lansia. Belakangan ini muncul banyak aplikasi kesehatan yang berfungsi sebagai pengingat maupun sebagai dokter online bagi lansia. Peranan ikon tentu sangat berpengaruh dalam pembuatan aplikasi kesehatan ini. Namun dalam penggunaannya, banyak ikon yang tidak efektif karena tidak dapat dimengerti maknanya secara cepat dan sukar untuk dikenali oleh penggunanya. Pengguna yang dalam hal ini adalah lansia terkadang mengalami kebingungan karena ikon tidak didesain secara baik sehingga menimbulkan kemiripan makna atau fungsinya. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ikon pada antarmuka aplikasi kesehatan untuk lansia. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah lansia yang berumur 60 tahun ke atas.  Pembuatan ikon dilakukan dengan pendekatan metode User Centered Design dengan mewawancara responden untuk mendapatkan desain ikon yang paling nyaman digunakan.  Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian terhadap desain ikon yang dibuat dengan melakukan performance test menggunakan dua buah parameter (completion rate dan task time). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa responden lebih memahami dan cepat mengenali fungsi suatu ikon ketika ikon didesain dengan jenis exemplar ikon, dengan bentuk 3 dimensi dan berwujud konkret yang dibuat dalam ukuran xhdpi dengan tingkat keberhasilan di atas 70%. AbstractAging is a period when physical health and cognitive abilities begin to decline. Therefore, elderly need help in maintaining their physical health. Technology development has made it possible and more affordable for many people to manage their health using their smartphones. Currently, there are many mobile applications that can be used to help users take care of their heath, such as healthy lifestyle, and online doctor. However, not many elderly take advantage of these applications. Some of them undergo technological leap, and lack confidence in their shavvines. Therefore, it is necessary to design an application that is easy to use and less intimidating to the elderly. One way to do this is by designing icons that are easily understood by the elderly. This research studied different design approaches that are suitable for the elderly, using a user centered design approach. The study found that respondents could better understand icons that were designed using the exemplar approach, represented in concrete and 3D form, and has xhdpi size with success rate above 70%.

Abstract

Consuming medicine on time is important for people who are sick. Medicine that prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist have various kind of rules, for example some medicine must be taken 3 times a day, 2 times a day, and 1 time a day, then there are rules after eating or before eating. Patients treated in the hospital are supervised by nurses, doctors, and receive more supervision from the hospital, but what if the patient is outpatient and the patient is an elderly person. With the presence of IoT technology that is not too expensive, a smart medicine box was made to be used to remind outpatients to take medicine which implements IoT technology and the android application used to manage the pillbox. The medicine box can remind patients to take medicine with the alarm module that is in the smart medicine box. System Usability Scale (SUS) is used to measure the success of the application. Smart medicine box is tested directly with data created to test the existing system. The result of testing the smart medicine box with existing data show that for each existing case, the smart medicine box system runs as it should. Application test results from all respondents received an average score of SUS 73,75. The score results show that the application can be accepted, get a grade scale worth B, and get good grades.

Abstract

Demensia adalah sebuah gangguan fungsi kognitif yang mengakibatkan sel otak memburuk sehingga penderita mengalami kehilangan daya ingat, penurunan kemampuan intelektual, dan perubahan kepribadian. Penyakit Alzheimer di Indonesia pada tahun 2013 mencapai satu juta orang. Jumlah itu diperkirakan akan meningkat drastis menjadi dua kali lipat pada tahun 2030, dan menjadi empat juta orang pada tahun 2050. Bukannya menurun, tren penderita Alzheimer di Indonesia semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Komputer sangat berperan penting bagi orang tua karena komputer dapat menstimulasi otak penderita. Smartphone dengan Operating System (OS) android memiliki harga yang relatif murah dan mudah dibawa kemana-mana karena ukurannya yang tidak besar seperti komputer. Pembuatan prortotype interface untuk pasien demensia diawali dengan pengumpulan data, pembuatan low-fidelity prototype, dan pembuatan high-fidelity prototype. Pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan dengan mewawancarai dokter yang menangani demensia atau membaca jurnal tentang demensia, pembuatan low-fidelity prototype dengan membuat mock-up pada kertas dan diujikan pada pasien demensia. High-fidelity mulai dapat dibuat apabila hasil penelitian low-fidelity prototype sudah baik dan mulai dibuat aplikasi yang menyerupai aslinya.
