Abstract

The marketing literature reveals little agreement on the generalizability of relationship value scales that were developed in earlier works. Relationship value is more investigated methods founded on relationship marketing conception to describe and contribute better managing of the company. In this study, a relationship value scale was developed for a specific context in the principal-retailer relationship. Its involved definition of relationship value, methods for measuring relationship value, impact on sales collaboration, and business performance. These research assessed three alternative models of the dimension structure of relationship value construct then tested for reliability, validity, and confirmatory factor analysis. The result suggested that the four multi-item scales of relationship value developed showed evidence of reliability and validity. This method is recommended to measure relationship value. Further, the findings showed that relationship value has positive effects on both sales collaboration and business performance.

Abstract

Bangka Belitung province's economy has a very high dependence on the tin. BPS data of 2013 showed tin contributed 33.60% PDRB and expected of more than 70% if the multiplier effect applied (Megawandi, 2013). But the tin mining industry is currently facing complex problems including undeveloped downstream (Widyatmiko, 2012), environmental damage (Sapanli, 2009; Inonu, 2010; Walhi, 2013), illegal small scale mining (Elfida, 2007; Sapanli 2010), and overlap of licensing and laws (Purba, 2007; Hayati, 2011; Bastida and Paramita, 2013), social issues (Aziz and Salim, 2005; Zulkarnain et al 2005; Erman, 2007; Resosudarmo and Subiman, 2010), damage of the forest (Sidabukke, 2011) and other problems. This study aims to design a business model of tin mining industry in Bangka Belitung so the sustain able issues can be resolved. The methodology used in this study was in-depth structured interview of expertstakeholders. The results of the study showed a chart which was interrelated relationship between elements which were created and delivered value for the industry and the state. The study of tin business model is a flow chart of the mining process to the trade.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to analyze the performance of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) in the financial and academic aspects; to analyze the gaps in financial performance and academic performance; and to know the differences in financial performance and academic performance before and after transformation into a State Universities Public Service Agency (PTN BLU). The analysis method used are descriptive analysis, gap analysis by calculating the average expected service level, and average calculation for perceived service actual performance, and t-test. The result of the research shows that the implementation of governance especially in the case of service is increasing and efficient. Besides that, after the transformation into BLU,UNG shows various progress, especially the improvement of financial performance as measured from income level from Non-Tax Revenue (PNBP), and from Revenue Budget and State Expenditure (APBN), while the academic performance, measured from 12 indicators covering tri darma of higher education, has increased significantly compared to when UNG is still part of the Work Unit (SATKER). While the results of gap analysis show that the academic and financial performance perceived by lecturers and UNG employees is higher than the quality of expectedservice. The financial performance of UNG before and after BLU has significant differences, as well as the academic performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify factors in the external environment affecting the poultry industry, analyze the business integration process of the company and know its internal factors, analyze the future of the poultry industry in Indonesia and formulate the strategic architecture of  PT Sierad Produce Tbk (SIPD) and its priority importance. Respondents in this study were determined using purposive sampling method. While the research method used is descriptive-qualitative with case study approach and using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as priority determination of interest.. The results of the research are several alternative SIPD strategy based on the main objective of the company, that is maximizing corporate integration, product development and market development. A strategic map as a strategic architecture design lane is created to illustrate the execution time of each alternative strategy. The business integration process at SIPD is currently not optimally developed, meaning that every stage of the production process is still a profit center. Achieving institutional markets with a contractual approach proves to ensure product survival.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the potential demand for eggs was still high from time to time reaching 5.2 million tons in 2021, triggering every animal feed company to compete in providing the national demand for eggs. PT ABC was one of the animal feed mills that experienced a decline in market share of 1.92% in 2021. This paper aims to identify the factors influence product competitive advantage, analyze internal and external factors, and formulate strategies to increase market share. Data was analyzed using IFE, EFE, IE, and SWOT matrix and ended with QSPM to get priority strategies from December 2022 until January 2023. The highest competitive advantage factor at PT ABC was in the after-sales service to customers with the highest priority strategy for the development of products to increase market share was increasing feed production while maintaining quality and the market penetration strategy was strengthening cooperation with third parties to facilitate business. Two priority strategies could be implemented for PT ABC. First on the product development strategy to increase feed production while maintaining quality and strategy regarding market penetration was sales segmentation to retail traders and direct breeders. Abstract

The MICE industry is an acronym for Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition, which is an industrial activity in the service sector that is synonymous with providing a service. The MICE industry sector, which consists of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions as well as special events such as cultural, music and sports festivals, during the pandemic when it is carried out virtually or hybrid, the most adaptable is the organization of the meeting and conference sector, according to data released by Kemenparekraf (2021), as many as 65% of meetings are conducted virtually and 61.5% for hybrid meeting formats. The MICE industry in its activities has several financing components such as production value, number of participants, and supporting activities in its implementation that have differences before and after the pandemic, besides that in the meeting itself several components of production costs such as venue costs, production, food and beverage, and accommodation changed completely during the pandemic. PT XYZ adjusted the organization of meetings or meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic, there are challenges in transforming the meeting industry, the right strategy is needed to deal with the problems that occur. This research is expected to be useful for the MICE industry in general, especially the meeting business to formulate strategies to adapt to business transformation towards digital. Furthermore, this research is expected to be useful for academics as a reference for MICE industry business research.

Abstract

PT Cipta Paramula Sejati is one of the companies engaged in the space and office rental business in Jakarta. PT Cipta Paramula Sejati manages the rental of office buildings and rooms in the Jakarta Design Center Building. Jakarta Design Center is a mall that has three types of businesses related to building space rental. Every company will be faced with various problems, both problems that come from within the company (internal) and problems from outside the company (external). This study aims to analyze the strategic objectives and key performance indicator (KPI) in terms of four perspective Balanced Scorecard (BSC), an also performance measurement methods at PT Cipta Paramula Sejati based on BSC concept. The analytical method used is the BSC. The study used a descriptive approach through in-depth interviews with respondents who were chosen intentionally (purposive sampling). The results of the study obtained twelve strategic targets and fourteen KPI. Based on the results of the BSC compilation of PT Cipta Paramula Sejati, the weighting for each BSC perspective was as follows: financial perspective of 27.78 percent, customer perspective of 27.78 percent, internal business process perspective of 25 percent, and learning and growth perspective of 19.44 percent.

Abstract

The global market developments is very fast that make a business need to adapt to keep competing. Business process was a vital component on the business if the business want to keep competing and developing. Business process must be keep developing with the proper and suitable methods. This study aims to analyze process improvement on PT. Sambada with Model-Based and Integrated Process Improvement method (MIPI). MIPI methods have 7 step, there are understand the business needs, understand the process, model and analyze process, redesign process, implement new process, asses new process, and review new process. The method was done until the fourth step, which is the redesign process step. On the first step, scanning was performed on the current condition of the company. The current condition of the company is depicted by the vision and mission of the company, the organization structure, market share, and complaints or mistakes data from consumers. On the second step, all current business process of the company is modeled. On the third step, all process were validated with all of the person in charge with the process. After that, the process is analyzed by value added analysis tool. Last, prosess improvement team was assembled to take charge with redesigned the new process which already improved. Pareto and Fishbone diagram were used to analyze and determined the focus of the problem being solved. The result of the study gives a new process that already fixed by applying the result from the analysis in accordance to MIPI method. Keywords: business process, fishbone, improvement, pareto, MIPI
