Abstract

Tujuan_ Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat pemanfaatan sistem informasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi dengan menguji model UTAUT yang diajukan oleh Venkatesh et al.,(2003). Desain/Metode_ Data yang digunakan penelitian ini diperoleh dari persepsi individu pemakai sistem informasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui mail survey. Sebanyak 83 kuesioner kembali dari 300 yang dikirim dan hanya 60 kuesioner yang dapat diolah. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi berganda. Temuan_Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekspektasi kinerja dan ekspektasi usaha dan faktor sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat pemanfaatan sistem informasi. Kondisi-kondisi yang memfasilitas pemakai berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi dan minat pemanfaatan sistem informasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi. Implikasi_ Para peneliti selanjutnya dapat mempertimbangkan untuk menggunakan variabel penelitian yang berasal dari faktor intrinsik pemakai SI. Hal ini perlu dilakukan karena sebagai pemakai SI justru mereka yang menentukan apakah suatu SI dapat beroperasi dengan baik sehingga menghasilkan manfaat bagi pemakai dan institusi yang menyediakannya. Abstract

Sudah menjadi kebutuhan saat ini di setiap perusahan mengenai penerapan tata kelola di bidang TIK dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan.Untuk itu maka perlu dilakukan penerapan dan sekaligus melakukan proses audit berkala SMKI pada perusahaan menggunakan standard ISO 27001:2013.Berdasarkan hasil audit dan penelitian ditemukan dalam Annex 7 mempunyai tingkat paling rendah dibandingkan Annex lainnya,karena pada dokumentasi intruksi kerja yang berkaitan dengan labeling belum terdaftar didalam dokumen utamanya sehingga perlu disesuaikan dengan dokumen utamanya.Selain itu, ada dari annex dan klausul lainnya terdapat formulir dan dokumen kurang sesuai antara yang tercantum pada prosedur yang ada dengan judul, sehingga kurang tersinkronisasi.Secara keseluruhan penggunaan ISO 27001:2013 sudah berjalan baik dengan memiliki nilai maturity level 97,45% level 5. Dengan hampir dari seluruh annex dan klausul memenuhi standar dari ISO 27001:2013, sehingga dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan perusahaan dapat melakukan peningkatan kembali didalam melakukan proses arsip dokumen agar mempermudah dari auditor dalam melakukan audit internal eksternal dan dapat terlaksananya keseluruhan kegiatan sesuai dengan yang ada pada standar ISO 27001:2013.

Abstract

It has become a current requirement in every company regarding the implementation of governance in the ICT field in an effort to improve service quality. For this reason, it is necessary to implement and at the same time carry out an ISMS periodic audit process in companies using the ISO 27001: 2013 standard. Based on the audit and research results found in Annex 7 has the lowest level compared to the other Annexes, because the work instruction documentation related to labeling has not been registered in the main document so it needs to be adjusted to the main document. existing procedures with titles, so they are not synchronized. Overall the use of ISO 27001: 2013 has been going well with a maturity level value of 97.45% level 5. With almost all annexes and clauses meeting the standards of ISO 27001: 2013, so from the results this research It is hoped that the company can make improvements again in carrying out the document archive process so that it makes it easier for the auditor to carry out internal external audits and can carry out all activities in accordance with those in the ISO 27001: 2013 standard.

Abstract

Cloud Computing technology makes a technology that is most often applied later in the future. Currently, cloud computing technology provides many types of services, including cost management services, data analysis, big data, storage, machine learning, big data, AI, IoT, and application development. Cloud computing technology has made a service and solution, both to increase reliability, reduce computing costs, to provide a great opportunity for the ICT industry to benefit more from cloud computing technology. Customer satisfaction is a level of feeling from someone after being able to compare the performance or results that are felt and obtained compared to their expectations or can be interpreted as a response to customer feedback in using cloud computing technology and an assessment of the good and bad of cloud computing technology which can be used as a reference or a benchmark for cloud computing developers to improve the performance of cloud computing technology that has been built. The level of customer satisfaction can be found using many model methods. In this study the level of satisfaction will be analyzed using the PIECES method and the System Usability Scale. In this study, researchers used two model methods and then carried out a comparative test of these methods. The PIECES variables are Performance, Information and data, Economics, Control and security, Efficiency and Service. The results of the study obtained an average value for each domain, namely the Performance domain with a value of 4.40 (Very Satisfied), Information and data with a value of 4.30 (Very Satisfied), Economics with a value of 4.33 (Very Satisfied), Control and security with a value of 4.28 (Very Satisfied), Efficiency with a value of 4.96 (Very Satisfied) and Service with a value of 4.00 (Satisfied). The recapitulation results for the average value for the entire domain level with a value of 4.37 (Very Satisfied). In the System Usability Scale method, a score of 82.08 is entered in the Acceptable category and grade A. With the comparative test results of the two methods, the satisfaction level of Google Cloud Platform customers is stated to be very satisfied and very good by the customers.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to enhance students' oral proficiency through the use of the simulation technique. The research was conducted using classroom action research based on the Kemmis and Taggart model. The research participants were 30 English majors. This research demonstrates that integrating simulation into language teaching can yield measurable improvements in students' speaking proficiency, providing educators with a practical tool for enhancing oral communication skills. The findings revealed a substantial enhancement in their speaking abilities. The mean pre-test score rose from 58.1 to 67.8 (a 16.7% increase) in the first cycle and further improved to 85.2 (a 25.7% increase) in the second cycle, resulting in a total improvement of 46.6%. These results suggest that implementing the simulation technique can effectively enhance students' speaking skills, as demonstrated by the significant gains in mean scores and overall performance across the research cycles.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the debate technique on improving English public speaking skills among college students learning English as a foreign language. Conducting a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 38 participants over 12 weeks, the researchers identified initial deficiencies in speaking abilities such as vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency, highlighted by students' anxiety and low confidence. The intervention, implemented in two cycles, utilized British Parliamentary debate formats to develop critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking proficiency. Results demonstrated substantial enhancement, increasing from 44.74% to 94.74% in students meeting required competency benchmarks, specifically being able to master public speaking with scores exceeding the passing grade. The findings affirm that debate techniques significantly foster confidence, fluency, and overall speaking abilities. This research highlights the importance of dynamic teaching methods in developing effective communicators in a globalized context. Keywords: Public Speaking; Debate; Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Learning in an inclusive environment has numerous advantages. Still, it also presents several challenges that must be addressed, such as accommodating the diverse learning styles of both regular students and those with special needs. This study aims to determine the learning styles of students learning English in an inclusive learning environment and to explore the match between students' learning styles and teachers' teaching styles within this environment. The sample was Champions Community Homeschooling students who completed the form and responded to the questionnaire. They were divided into ten regular students and five students with special needs. This study was conducted at Champions Community Homeschooling, which is an inclusive school. This Champions Community Homeschooling inclusive school is located in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. The study took place from March to September 2024. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. Data were collected using observations of the teaching and learning process and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study found that the learning style that dominated special needs students in English classes was the aural learning style, followed by the reading/writing learning style. However, regular students had a reading and writing learning style, followed by a visual learning style. The results of this study also have implications for educators to design more flexible and inclusive teaching strategies that accommodate diverse learning styles.

Abstract

Penelitian "Pemanfaatan Teknologi Pembelajaran Adaptif dalam Bahasa Inggris untuk Generasi Digital: Sebuah Analisis Komprehensif" mengkaji penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran adaptif berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris bagi generasi digital. Studi literatur digunakan sebagai metode utama, melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis data dari artikel jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pembelajaran adaptif meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan kemajuan bahasa di kalangan siswa generasi Z, terutama melalui jalur pembelajaran dan materi instruksional yang dipersonalisasi. Penelitian ini menekankan kecocokan teknologi pembelajaran adaptif dengan kebutuhan belajar generasi digital, menyediakan pendekatan yang interaktif dan personal. Teknologi ini memungkinkan penyesuaian materi pembelajaran dan umpan balik langsung, yang penting untuk mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa. Meski menjanjikan, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan, termasuk kebutuhan infrastruktur teknologi, pelatihan guru, dan isu privasi dan etika. Saran utama termasuk pengembangan sistem yang lebih inovatif, pelatihan guru yang memadai, dan penelitian berkelanjutan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas jangka panjang. Kesimpulan studi ini adalah bahwa teknologi pembelajaran adaptif berpotensi besar dalam merevolusi pengajaran bahasa Inggris bagi generasi digital, mengarah pada pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan responsif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of computer-based technology through speech-to-text and the Elsa Speak application in improving students' speaking skills in English learning at Bina Sarana Informatika University. This study uses a qualitative case study approach to examine the effectiveness of speech-to-text technology and the ELSA Speak application in improving students' speaking skills at Bina Sarana Informatika University through the collection of observation, interview, and documentation data. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model continuously to produce valid conclusions regarding the improvement of English speaking skills through this technology. The results of this work, namely the use of computer-based technology, namely the speech-to-text feature and the ELSA Speak application, have proven effective in improving UBSI students' English speaking skills. This technology helps students practice pronunciation and intonation independently with direct feedback that facilitates pronunciation improvement. The use of both applications makes learning more interesting, interactive, and in accordance with students' learning styles, thereby increasing clarity of pronunciation and self-confidence. Institutionally, this digitalization of learning supports the campus' vision in improving the quality of education and equalizing access to learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi e-learning dan blended learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis platform digital dan virtual classroom di PT Intermedia Jakarta, serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran peserta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam dan kontekstual tentang praktik pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari instruktur dan peserta pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi peserta, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengurangan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data dipertahankan melalui triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknis, dan pemeriksaan anggota. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi e-learning, blended learning, dan virtual classroom berdampak positif pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Peningkatan terlihat dalam keterampilan berbicara dan mendengarkan, kepercayaan diri peserta dalam berkomunikasi, dan penguasaan kosakata dan struktur kalimat. Selain itu, motivasi dan partisipasi peserta juga meningkat melalui berbagai metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan fleksibel. Namun, ada kendala seperti keterbatasan koneksi internet, perbedaan literasi digital, dan kurangnya konsistensi dalam merdeka belajar. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ini mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih efektif dan adaptif serta mendukung pengembangan kompetensi bahasa Inggris di tempat kerja.
