Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh variabel kualitas layanan dan kepuasan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Indosat Unlimited di Cimanggis. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey melalui kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisa penelitian ini, mengindikasikan bahwa kualitas layanans ecara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, ditunjukan dari nilai signifikan si uji t =0.000 lebih kecil dari ? =0.05 dengan koefisien regresi =2.537. kualitas layanan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan ditunjukan dengan nilai signifikansi uji t =0.000 lebih kecil dari ?=0,05. Kualitas layanan dan kepuasan secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, ditunjukan dari nilai signifikansi uji F =0,000 lebih kecil dari ?=0.05 dan mampu memiliki kontribusi terhadap variabel loyalitas pelanggan sebesar 0.504 atau 51.7%. sisanya sebesar 48.3% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain yang tidak dianalisa dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Layanan, Kepuasan, Loyalitas Pelanggan.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze and identify the effect of the service quality and satisfaction variables toward customer loyalty. the data collection method used in this researchi uses the survey method with questionnaires. This research population is the customers of Indosat Unlimited in Depok. From the results of the analysis, it shows that the service quality significantly influences the customer loyalty, proven by the t significant value of 0.000 smaller that α 0.05 with the coefficient of 2.537. Quality of service has a significant effect on the customer loyalty ishown by the t significant value 0.000 less than 0.05. service quality and satisfaction significantly influence the customer loyalty shown by F value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05 and are able contribute to the customer loyalty variables of 0.504 or 51.7%. the remaining 48.3% is influenced by other variables that are not analized in this research.

Abstract

Background:  Throughout the lyric, -from music- there must be emblazoning with the meaning within it.Purpose: This study is coincided in seeking out the use of figurative language’s content in Bohemian Rhapsody’s lyric by Queen.Design and methods: Whereupon, the qualitative approach with design of content analysis is used in this study. The researcher acts as the main instrument since analyzing it. The focus on this study shows twenty figurative languages usage in it. The entire data is analyzed through three stages; 1). Data reduction, 2). Data representation, 3). Conclusion.Results: The result of this study shows there are 20 kinds of figurative languages; they are; Alliteration (3 lines), assonance and consonance (1 line), Hyperbole (1 line), Imagery (2 lines), Internal rhyme (1 line), Irony (1 line), metaphor (2 lines), and Onomatopoeia (1 line) Personification (1 line), Repetition (1 line), Simile (1 line), and symbolism (two lines). The researcher concludes, the figurative language used by this lyric is to bring the meaning coming up with beautiful language.

Abstract

Essay writing has a fairly complex level of difficulty. Moreover, the online and offline learning process in the era of technological progress has directed learning activities to be carried out through technological innovation. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of film trailers on improving English essay writing skills for students at Bina Sarana Informatika University, Jakarta. The research method uses experiments with a one-group experimental design. Participants were taken using a purposive sampling technique of as many as 50 students. The research was conducted on 3rd-semester students of the 2021-2022 academic year. The data analysis technique used essay tests and observation. Data were analyzed using a t-test. The results showed that students in the Essay Writing class experienced an increase in their ability to write English essays. There are 80% of the respondents who experienced an increase in their English essay writing test scores before and after using the film trailer learning media. In addition, the data from the t-test also showed that t-Stat t-table (-10.384 2.0095), meaning that there was a significant effect of movie trailers on English essay writing skills. The results of the study also have implications for the understanding of the teaching staff regarding the use of digital learning media or technology applications in building more innovative writing classes

Abstract

Students have a different pattern in using the learning strategy. It is seen in their activity when they do the writing. The objective of this research was to observe the students’ pattern using metacognitive strategy in English Academic Writing learning through an online zoom application. The method used descriptive qualitative research. The data is taken from observation and survey from 20 participants who got the English academic writing subject in 2019/2020 academic years at English Program Study Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. Analysis procedures include observation of activity patterns, identifying learning strategy patterns, categorizing, and strategy learning pattern analysis. The results showed that the students used metacognitive strategy in the academic writing process with different patterns. It can see from activity steps of the metacognitive strategy that is implemented in the class. Students’ activity pattern is planning, identifying, correcting errors, revising, rereading, monitoring, and evaluating. Metacognitive strategies had used by students to consciously control the writing activity because each segment of one’s stored world knowledge help students to create the story. The study's implication is managing students’ activity patterns when the teacher used the strategy learning. It has to be appropriate to students’ needs.

Abstract

Abstract. The study purpose was to increase English extensive reading activities using google classroom in online learning process, especially in pandemic Covid-19 situation. This research is action research which used exploratory mixed method using Elliot model. Process of collecting data used observation, interview, diary note, and test. The technique of analysis data was reduction, presentation, and taking conclusion. The research finding show that google classroom has given significant impact on English extensive reading in the classroom. Some students think that it is easy to delivery assignment and correction of the task. They can do it out of class. It can be seen from the average score from reading test in pretest is 53 and posttest is 87. Therefore, integrating digital literacy with the reading learning is a big challenge for the learning and teaching process. Keywords: Extensive Reading, Google Classroom, Online Class, Covid-19

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to get deeply information abbreviation usage in Twitter application. The abbreviation has used to make shorter time in delivering the message but the receiver can understand the message. The method used descriptive qualitative. The data is taken from www.twitter.com as an online application. The source of data was the Twitter application that has made by university students, high school students and employee. The study found that 4 types of abbreviation have used in twitter communication, namely clipping, blending, acronym, and initialism. The abbreviation usage helps the people to make simple conversation like as non-formal communication.

Abstract

Morphology is the study of word and sub-discipline of linguistics that study of word, structure and form which has component such as morpheme, base, prefix and suffix. This process can reduce ambiguity during the process of correcting the words in sentences. This study investigated about the classification of derivational and inflectional morphemes in the song lyrics of Ariana Grande’s album Thank U, Next. The method in this research use descriptive qualitative method.Process of collecting data used to identify lyric that has derivational and inflectional morpheme. The result of this research is to indicate that the words recorded in song lyrics can be further analyzed about the process of forming words by words and the meaning of the word in it have different meaning from the literal meaning

Abstract

The research objective is to improve reading comprehension skills through an extensive program of reading literary texts. It used a mixed method. Research participants are 5th-semester students who receive extensive reading (2) courses in the 2020-2021 academic year at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika Jakarta as many as 70 students. There are two data used in this study, namely 1) qualitative data taken using a questionnaire. Qualitative data were analyzed using transcribed and encoded, organized, categorized, and taking concluding. 2) Quantitative data were taken from the pre-test and post-test. The test data were analyzed using a t-test. The results of the study show that overall an extensive reading program with literary texts has an impact on improving English reading comprehension. Students also have a positive perception of the extensive reading program because they can build interest in reading and reading habits
