Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi-fungsi manajemen sumber daya manusia di perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara di Kota Medan yakni PT. PELINDO 1, PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa, dan PT BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Tanjung Morawa Sumatera Utara. Adapun metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, daftar pertanyaaan, observasi, studi kepustakaan. Peneliti telah mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang tugas-tugas bagian SDM pada ketiga perusahaan lebih jelas, lengkap, dan terperinci dibandingkan dengan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari literatur, seperti misalnya fungsi analisis jabatan pada PT. PELINDO 1 telah menguraikan analisis jabatan yang lebih detail bagaimana job description dan job specification pada perusahaan tersebut. Kata Kunci : Fungsi-fungsi manajemen sumber daya manusia, Badan Usaha Milik Negara.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to empower the lecturers for improving the working productivity of FacultyEconomic of Lecturers in Medan, beside that, through this research there is a cooperation among thelecturers, a cooperation between the lecturers and the stakeholders and there are preparation of learningmaterials base on market’s needs.The research is done by surveying (the lecturers visit to some companies), interviewing (thelecturers interviewed and made discussion with the companies to improved the preparation of learningmaterials) and documented study. The sample of this research are the lecturers of ManagementDepartment of Faculty Economic of State University of Medan and the stakeholders are PT Telkom, PT SinarSosro and PT Socfin Indonesia.The lecturers who teach Human Resource Management I and Human Resource Management II,Organizational Behaviour, Marketing Management and Agribusiness Management have visit and discussedwith the stakeholders related on preparation of learning materials. The results are there are somepreparation of learning materials (the contract of lecture, syllabus, and the preparation of lecture) .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi, kepuasan kerja pegawai, dan mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada Badan Penanaman Modal dan Promosi Sumatera Utara. Adapun populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 60 orang. Teknik sampel menggunakan total sampling yang artinya jumlah populasi sama menjadi jumlah sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui angket yang disebarkan kapada 60 responden dan mengumpulkannya kembali. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah deskriptip dan uji t dan diolah dengan program SPSS 22.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi yang terjadi di Badan Penanaman Modal dan Promosi Sumatera Utara sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Adapun kepuasan kerja pegawai pada perusahaan tersebut sudah menujukkan hasil yang maksimal. Selanjutnya komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Badan Penanaman Modal dan Promosi Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the Influence Influence Transformational Leadership Style and Non-Physical Work Environment The Job Satisfaction simultaneously and partially at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Branch Belawan.This research was conducted at the office of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Branch Belawan in the academic year 2014, with a population of 255 employees and a sample totaling 72 employees. Data collection techniques used were observation, and questionnaires. Reliability of the questionnaire using Cronbach Alpha test, and validity tested questionnaire with product moment correlation test. In this study, whole grains valid questionnaires. After the data were analyzed with SPSS 16, the obtained path analysis Y = 0.354 +0.600 x_1 x_2 +0.125. to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable is the coefficient of determination with simultaneous use 87.5% with significant results using the F test. These results indicate that the influence of Transformational Leadership Style and Non-Physical Work Environment The Job Satisfaction of employees simultaneously at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Branch Belawan of 87.5%. Effect of Transformational Leadership Style partially on employee job satisfaction was 12.5% significantly by using T test. Effect of Non-Physical Work Environment partially on employee job satisfaction significantly by 36.0% by using the test T. Thus the hypothesis of this study is accepted that there Pengeruh between Transformational Leadership Style and Non-Physical Work Environment Against Employee Satisfaction At PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Branch Belawan. Keywords: Transformational Leadership Style, Non-Physical Work Environment,                     Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the service quality and customer satisfaction at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). The service quality is a very important factor to provide customer satisfaction. This study uses primary data by disseminating questionnaires directly to the sample. In measuring service quality factors, the SERVQUAL model is used, which consists of 5 indicators, Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The population in this study is students of Universitas Negeri Medan who are customers of BNI UNIMED. Samples in this study as many as 325 respondents, with sampling techniques Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) obtained was 66% which is in the category of Satisfied

Abstract

This article aims to increase partners' knowledge and skills in utilizing songket woven fabric. Reject coal, make online management and marketing systems effective. The method of activities is carried out in the form of assistance through counseling and training stages with lecture methods, question and answer, demonstrations which include preparation, implementation and evaluation. To determine the level of success of activities carried out monitoring and evaluation can be seen during preparation, process and end of the activity. The first meeting included preparation and planning, during the implementation phase counseling included knowledge of using reject woven fabrics. Training on making tissue boxes, bags, wallets and tablecloths, business management and assisting partners in training to market products online. The results of the activities of Partners 1 and 2 already have the knowledge and skills to make various bags, wallets and tablecloths. compile simple business management and make cash books and partners already have a website and utilize online media as a means of marketing products. Products are arranged in the Coal Workshop Cluster and Creative House. Various souvenir products have been exhibited at various national exhibition events. The impact of the activities of weavers was able to increase the economy and reduce unemployment in the Coal District. This can be seen from several residents who have joined the business.

Abstract

The long-term objective of this study is to contribute to the management of private hospitals in the city of Medan in order to encourage the improvement of individual nurse performance so as to produce excellent service to patients through job satisfaction as an emotional aspect felt by nurses based on the compensation they receive from the hospital. The specific targets to be achieved are to determine the effect of compensation on satisfaction and to determine the effect of job satisfaction on performance and to determine the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of individual nurses at several private hospitals in the city of Medan. The methods that will be used by this research are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The method of analysis used is the regression equation model.

Abstract

A b s t r a c tThis study was to analyzed the assessment of local tourists on the elements of tourism development in Medan. This research is descriptive research with the sampling technique used Accidental Sampling. Samples were 354 respondents who are the community of Medan City. Data were collected through literature study and questionnaire distribution. The results which are categorized as the best three are the development of hotels in the city of Medan, the ease of use of public transportation and the condition of electricity. On the other hand, the results of the assessment of the three worst categories are road conditions, traffic, and cleanliness of the city. The community and the Medan city government must care and work together in advancing the tourism sector in the city that the city of Medan is expected to get the nickname of the city of Paris van Sumatra.A b s t r a kPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penilaian wisatawan lokal terhadap unsur-unsur pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Accidental Sampling. Sampel sebanyak 354 responden yang merupakan masyarakat Kota Medan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil yang masuk dalam kategori tiga terbaik adalah perkembangan hotel di kota Medan, kemudahan penggunaan transportasi umum dan kondisi kelistrikan. Sedangkan hasil penilaian dari tiga kategori terburuk adalah kondisi jalan, lalu lintas, dan kebersihan kota. Masyarakat dan pemerintah kota Medan harus peduli dan bersinergi dalam memajukan sektor pariwisata di kota sehingga kota Medan diharapkan mendapat julukan kota Paris van Sumatra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media sosial yang sering digunakan ibu rumah tangga di Medan, rata-rata lama penggunaan media sosial dan mengetahui pendapat mereka tentang kegunaan media sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan penyebaran angket. Sampel berjumlah 210 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden adalah ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja baik di pemerintah maupun swasta, paling sering menggunakan situs online shop untuk menunjang kebutuhan dengan rata-rata penggunaan media sosial 3-4 jam sehari. Ibu rumah tangga di kota Medan berpendapat bahwa media sosial sangat berguna untuk pencarian informasi. Secara umum mereka menyatakan puas karena media sosial telah memberikan banyak manfaat bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa telah terjadi pola pergeseran perilaku pengguna media sosial bagi ibu rumah tangga. Saat ini, Facebook sangat jarang digunakan oleh ibu rumah tangga dan ini berbeda dengan beberapa tahun sebelumnya dimana Facebook sangat populer di kalangan ibu rumah tangga yang bekerja maupun tidak bekerja. Perubahan perilaku konsumen ini dapat disebabkan oleh perubahan dan situasi gaya hidup terutama pada masa pandemi yang mengakibatkan ibu rumah tangga di kota Medan paling sering mengakses toko online karena mereka merasa lebih aman berbelanja online daripada berbelanja offline.Kata Kunci : Media Sosial, Ibu Rumah Tangga, Kota MedanAbstractThis study intended to determine the social media that is often used by housewives in Medan, the average length of use of social media and to find out their opinion about the use of social media. Data was collected through observation, interviews, literature study and distributing questionnaires. The sample was 210 people. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results showed the majority of respondents were housewives who work in the government and the private sector, they most often used online shop sites to support their needs with an average use of social media 3-4 hours a day. Housewives in Medan thought that social media is very useful for finding information. In general, they expressed satisfaction because social media has provided many benefits for fulfill the needs of daily life. These indicate that there has been a shift in the behavior pattern of social media users for housewives. Currently, Facebook is an application that is rarely used by housewives and this is different from the previous few years where Facebook was very popular among working and non-working housewives. This change in consumer behavior can be caused by changes and lifestyle situations, especially during the pandemic which housewives in Medan most frequently accessing online stores because shopping online is safer than shopping offline.

Abstract

Studi ini dilakukan pada UMKM di Medan yang menjual rujak ulek dengan nama Rujak Ulek Umi Dewi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yaitu lokasi usaha, gerobak usaha, dan penataan produk. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membina Rujak Ulek Umi Dewi dalam menyelesaikan kesulitan utamanya seperti yang diuraikan sebelumnya. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini adalah berinovasi meliputi lokasi usaha, gerobak usaha, dan penataan produk. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah melangsungkan pengamatan, tanya jawab, dan menggali fakta-fakta dari berbagai referensi seperti buku, artikel pada jurnal, surat kabar, majalah yang relevan dan juga pencarian informasi secara online. Capaian luaran kegiatan ini adalah buah pikiran melalui diversifikasi rujak untuk memperbaharui dan keberlanjutan Rujak Ulek Umi Dewi  yaitu pada lokasi usaha agar lebih menjaga kebersihan, inovasi mengenai gerobak usaha dan penataan produk yang rapih agar pembeli tertarik.
