Abstract

The digital divide between urban and rural areas in Indonesia remains a significant challenge in the current digital era, with limited internet access in remote regions hindering economic, educational, and social progress. This research aims to develop a wireless LAN-based RT/RW Net system as a solution to enhance efficient and affordable internet access. The system utilizes point-to-point access between regions using specialized routers to overcome geographical and physical barriers, thereby enabling internet access in hard-to-reach areas. By leveraging WiFi 5 technology as a solution for better range and performance, along with ease of operation and affordable construction costs, the system is designed for efficiency. Device configuration is carried out using the built-in application of the TP-Link EAP 110 router, facilitating easier and more efficient management. The PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) research methodology is chosen as the approach for developing the RT/RW Net network. The advantages of this method include structured and systematic design capabilities, greater flexibility in meeting design needs, and the ability to optimize the quality of the network once it is operational. This method can also analyze and build networks according to local geographical conditions. Expected outcomes include improved quality and reliability of the RT/RW Net network, provision of cheaper and more convenient internet access for communities, and contributions to a more equitable dissemination of information and communication technology across Indonesia, enabling communities to enjoy better access to information, broader educational opportunities, and enhanced economic prospects.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to develop a web-based information system for optimizing data at Muhammadiyah Quran Education Parks (TPQ) in Sidoarjo Regency. The background of this research is based on the problem of managing TPQ institutional data, which is still manual, separate, and difficult to access in an integrated manner, making monitoring, validation, and reporting difficult. Method: The research method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall development model. Results: The research results show that the information system built is able to integrate data on students, teachers, curriculum, activities, and institutional administration online. This system simplifies data management, improves reporting efficiency, and supports transparency and accountability in the guidance of TPQ by the Muhammadiyah Tabligh Council of Sidoarjo Regency. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the development of a web-based information system that integrates multiple aspects of TPQ data management, providing a solution to the challenges of manual and separate data handling, and improving overall efficiency and accountability in TPQ administration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sentiment towards potential presidential candidates for the 2024 election in Indonesia based on Twitter users' opinions. Three prominent figures, Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, and Prabowo Subianto, were surveyed to gauge their electability. Using machine learning classification methods, Support Vector Machine, Bernoulli Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression, sentiment classification was performed. The findings indicate that Twitter users expressed predominantly positive sentiments towards each potential candidate. The evaluation of the classification algorithms showed SVM with 84% accuracy, Bernoulli Naïve Bayes with 77%, and Logistic Regression with 84%. This research sheds light on public sentiment towards potential leaders, offering valuable insights for political strategists and decision-makers in shaping effective election campaigns. Highlight: Sentiment Analysis: The study employs machine learning techniques to analyze the sentiments expressed by Twitter users towards potential presidential candidates for the 2024 election in Indonesia. Positive Sentiments: The findings reveal that Twitter users predominantly exhibit positive sentiments towards all three potential candidates, Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, and Prabowo Subianto. Election Insights: This research provides valuable insights into public sentiment, offering valuable information for political strategists and decision-makers in devising effective election campaigns for the upcoming presidential election. Abstract

General Background: Digital transformation has become essential for improving the quality and responsiveness of public administrative services, particularly those managing large volumes of citizen data. Specific Background: Population administration services at the sub-district level in Kecamatan Waru have faced challenges related to manual data processing, limited service transparency, and the lack of direct notification mechanisms for informing applicants about document progress. Knowledge Gap: Existing studies tend to address population data management systems or notification features separately, while integrated implementation combining administrative systems with automated messaging services at the sub-district level remains limited. Aims: This study aimed to design and implement a web-based population administration information system integrated with the WhatsApp Business API using the Rapid Application Development method. Results: The developed system enables centralized management of population service data and automatically sends document status notifications to applicants through WhatsApp; functional testing confirmed system reliability, and user acceptance testing recorded a satisfaction score of 91.43%. Novelty: The study offers an applied model of integrating population administration services with automated WhatsApp notifications that has been implemented and evaluated in an actual sub-district setting. Implications: This system supports more transparent, timely, and user-oriented public services by reducing information delays and improving communication between government offices and citizens. Abstract

Permasalahan sampah rumah tangga menjadi salah satu isu lingkungan yang mendesak untuk diselesaikan. Pengelolaan sampah yang kurang optimal dapat berdampak negatif pada lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi Smart Waste Management berbasis Android untuk membantu proses pengelolaan sampah secara lebih efektif. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pemindai (scan) yang mampu mengidentifikasi jenis sampah dan memberikan rekomendasi daur ulang menjadi kerajinan. Dengan memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence), sistem dapat menganalisis gambar sampah dan mengkategorikannya secara otomatis. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah Waterfall Model, yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan semua fitur aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan harapan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu mengidentifikasi sampah dengan akurasi tinggi dan memberikan panduan daur ulang yang bermanfaat bagi pengguna. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat lebih sadar akan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah dan ikut berkontribusi dalam menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang merambah ke berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan, keperluan akan informasi yang tepat dan cepat menjadi sangat penting. Saat ini, proses pembuatan rapor di SDN Kemiri masih dilakukan secara manual. Metode ini rentan terhadap berbagai risiko, seperti kehilangan atau kerusakan berkas akademik, serta kesulitan dalam pencarian dokumen yang efektif dan efisien untuk sejumlah siswa. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem Raport Digital berbasis web di SDN Kemiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah metode WDLC (Web Development Life Cycle), yang meliputi tahapan planning, analysis, design and development, testing, implementation, dan maintenance. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan basis desktop. Sistem ini menyediakan modul untuk nilai rapor murid, data guru, data murid, dan data mata pelajaran. Implementasi sistem ini di SDN Kemiri diharapkan dapat membantu dalam manajemen administrasi akademik. Pengujian pada sistem dilaksanakan menggunakan metode black-box testing untuk memastikan antarmuka pengguna mudah digunakan oleh pengguna akhir. Hasil dari studi pustaka ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem rapor online memberikan kemudahan bagi pendidik dalam pengolahan data nilai peserta didik, yang dapat diakses oleh peserta didik dan orang tua secara mudah dan efisien.

Abstract

This study proposes a web-based information system for new member registration at Gym Cemerlang, developed to address the manual registration process that causes long queues, data recording errors, and inefficient membership data management. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirements identification, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the gym owner, and literature study. The system was built using ReactJS for the front-end, Express JS for the back-end, and PostgreSQL as the database, and was modeled using Use Case Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). The system involves two main actors: users (prospective members), who can view membership packages, register online, make payments, and check registration status; and administrators, who manage member data, membership packages, and registration confirmation through Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations. Functional testing was carried out using black-box testing, while user acceptance was planned to be measured using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The result of this research is a web-based registration system design that is expected to reduce queuing time, minimize recording errors, and provide real-time, self-service registration for prospective members, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of membership services at Gym Cemerlang.
