Abstract

Currently, the Indonesian nation is in a state of economic crisis, many people are affected by the economic crisis. Social assistance is the provision of assistance in the form of money/goods from the government to underprivileged communities, which aims to improve people's welfare and meet the needs of the community in maintaining their lives during the current economic crisis. The village head is one of the government officials as well as officers from the social assistance distribution with the aim of minimizing the problem. A lot of assistance comes but is not evenly distributed to people in need, it is necessary to have a monitoring system for the distribution of social aid programs so that the assistance distributed remains on target and the quality of budget absorption is optimal. The monitoring process will be carried out by the village head directly to monitor the progress of the distribution of aid and submissions. Therefore, this research will build a web-based monitoring system for the distribution of social assistance. This social assistance distribution system in the form of a website, will contain data on recipients of the family hope program and community submission data. The design of this system uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the development of the system uses the Waterfall method which will test the system. With this system, it will help the Village Head in monitoring the distribution of aid and assist the community in submitting it.

Abstract

Persons with disabilities face difficulties in accessing the social services available to them, especially regarding data collection and information management. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that will assist the Medan City Social Service in effectively and efficiently managing disability data. This system is intended to make data recording, searching, and reporting easier, which will help improve the quality of services provided to the community. Needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing are the methodologies used in this research. Web-based technology is used to develop this system, which includes programming languages and databases (e.g., PHP, Python, or others). Individual data management, data searching, and statistical report generation are the main features provided. The research results indicate that this information system has the capability to improve the accuracy of data collection and reduce the time needed to process data. With this system, the Social Service of Medan City can provide more organized services to meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam administrasi publik menuntut sistem pengelolaan arsip yang aman, valid, dan mudah diverifikasi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi arsip digital yang dilengkapi mekanisme verifikasi integritas menggunakan algoritma hashing SHA-256. Model pengembangan sistem mengikuti metode waterfall yang dimodifikasi dan diimplementasikan menggunakan PHP serta basis data MySQL. Setiap dokumen yang diunggah menghasilkan nilai hash unik yang berfungsi sebagai identitas autentik dan indikator perubahan konten. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan hash dari dokumen identik dan dokumen yang dimodifikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perubahan sekecil apa pun menghasilkan hash yang berbeda secara signifikan, sehingga sistem mampu mendeteksi modifikasi dokumen secara otomatis. Evaluasi pengguna mengonfirmasi peningkatan efisiensi pencarian arsip serta kepercayaan terhadap keaslian dokumen digital. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi hashing SHA-256 dapat meningkatkan keamanan, integritas, dan akuntabilitas pada sistem pengelolaan arsip digital.

Abstract

Simalungun District Culture and Tourism Office is a government agency whose activities include paying attention to tourism spots, especially Muslim tourists, namely in terms of finding halal places to eat or culinary in Parapat City. The haversine formula algorithm is one of the algorithms in a geographic information system that is able to calculate the shortest distance from the initial location to the destination location. By implementing the haversine formula algorithm in a geographic information system, it can be used to search for the nearest halal food location in Parapat City from the user's location. This research aims to be able to assist the community in finding the nearest halal food location in Parapat City and it is hoped that the Simalungun Regency Culture and Tourism Office can also provide location data for halal food that is integrated with a mobile-based geographic information system.

Abstract

PT Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja, a branch of PT. Astra International, Tbk operating in SM. Raja Medan, faces issues with the manual process of estimating time and cost for body repair services. This study aims to design and develop an estimation information system by applying the Monte Carlo method for the estimation calculations. The system is Android-based and can be accessed via smart devices. It is designed for employees to calculate estimates by inputting vehicle and repair data, after which the system automatically displays the estimated time and cost for repairs. By utilizing the waterfall development method and programming languages such as Java and PHP, this research successfully developed a system that provides more accurate and efficient repair estimates. The results of this study are expected to improve transparency and efficiency in the vehicle repair process at PT. Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of globalization has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including business and trade activities. Information is a crucial component in supporting fast, precise, and accurate decision-making, both at the operational and strategic levels. This study aims to apply the Apriori algorithm to analyze the sales patterns of MSMEs in the Sait Buttu Saribu Tourism Village and to develop a web-based system that can support business decision-making. MSMEs play a vital role in the local economy, but sales data utilization is still suboptimal. Sales transaction data from 2023–2024 from 57 active MSMEs were used as the research object. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the system development using the Waterfall method. The Apriori algorithm was applied to find association patterns between products based on support and confidence values. The results show that the Apriori algorithm is able to identify product combinations that are frequently purchased together so that they can be utilized for sales strategies such as product bundling, product arrangement, and inventory control. The developed system is expected to help MSMEs manage sales data more effectively and support data-driven decision-making. Therefore, this study applies the Apriori algorithm to analyze the sales patterns of MSME merchandise in Sait Buttu Saribu Tourism Village and builds a web-based system as a decision- making tool.

Abstract

Sambo is one of the martial arts sports that has been developing in Indonesia, including in the city of Medan. In the process of athlete development, analytical methods are needed to assist coaches and sports organizations in predicting athlete success more objectively and based on data. This study aims to apply data mining techniques to predict the success of Sambo athletes in Medan using the Naïve Bayes method. This method was chosen because it has good classification capabilities and can process data with a relatively simple and efficient computational process. The data used in this study were obtained from training results and athlete performance records, including several variables such as age, training duration, training intensity, physical condition, technical skills, and competition achievement history. The research process begins with data collection, data preprocessing, model development using the Naïve Bayes algorithm, and evaluation of prediction results. The resulting classification model is then used to determine the success category of athletes, such as having high potential for success or lower potential. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Naïve Bayes method is able to provide predictions of Sambo athletes' success with a fairly good level of accuracy. This system can assist coaches and sports administrators in the selection and development process of athletes in a more effective and targeted manner. Therefore, the implementation of data mining using the Naïve Bayes method can be an alternative solution to support decision-making in the development of Sambo athletes in Medan.
