Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam penerapan Paradigma Pedagogi Reflektif serta memanfaatkan media komik dalam perkuliahan Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian dikumpukan melalui pengamatan, analisis dokumen dan wawancara dengan mahasiswa di kelas Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta. Pengujian data dilakukan melalui triangulasi data, triangulasi metode, triangulasi peneliti, dan triangulasi teoritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang benar dalam penerapan Paradigma Pedagogi Reflektif serta media komik yang menarik pada mata kuliah Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno. Maka, mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan pada aspek 3C yaitu, competence, conscience, compassion. Bagi para civitas akademika, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengintegrasikan pengajaran dengan penelitian secara maksimal sehingga manfaatnya dapat dirasakan bersama dan mampu dimaknai sebagai salah satu modal pembangunan bangsa. Abstract

Abstract: Learning regional history, especially the History of Ancient West Asia, has brought critical and transformative thinking patterns to students of the History Education Study Program at Sanata Dharma University. The purpose of writing this article is to describe: 1) Material on national civilization in the History of Ancient West Asia lecture; 2) Comic Visualization of Arab Civilization before and after Islam to explore the character of critical and transformative thinking. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study are that several patterns of strategy in civilization before Islam and after the arrival of Muhammad can become critical and transformative experiences to solve the nation's problems. Meanwhile, the results of comic visualization are an integral part of student motivation to always have imagination to be able to find opportunities in the midst of global challenges. The conclusion of this study is that many ideas are actualized visually, which illustrates that the current generation is able to find various paradigms in the midst of a national moral crisis and a global crisis.Keywords: Comics, Civilization, Critical Thinking, Transformative, History of Ancient West AsiaAbstrak: Pembelajaran sejarah kawasan khususnya Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno telah menghantarkan pola berpikir kritis dan transformatif pada mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Sanata Dharma. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini hendak menguraikan: 1) Materi peradaban bangsa dalam perkuliahan Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno; 2) Visualisasi Komik mengenai Peradaban Bangsa di Arab sebelum dan sesudah Islam untuk menggali Karakter berpikir kritis dan transformative. Metode penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini ialah beberapa pola strategi dalam peradaban sebelum Islam dan setelah datanganya Muhammad dapat menjadi pengalaman kritis dan transformatif untuk memecahkan persoalan bangsa. Sedangkan hasil visualisasi komik menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dengan motivasi mahasiswa agar selalu memiliki imajinasi untuk mampu menemukan peluang di tengah tantangan global. Simpulan dari penelitian ini banyak gagasan yang diaktualisasikan secara visual menggambarkan bahwa generasi saat ini mampu menemukan berbagai paradigma di tengah krisis moral bangsa dan krisis global.Kata kunci: Komik, Peradaban Bangsa, Berpikir Kritis, Transformatif, Sejarah Asia Barat Kuno

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) can increase students' understanding of the theme My Abilities and Limitations in Phase D at SMPN 1 Embaloh Hulu. Apart from that, this research also aims to measure the effectiveness of PBL in increasing students' understanding of their abilities and limitations, as well as analyzing changes in students' attitudes and understanding of this theme after implementing PBL. This research is classroom action research. The samples in this research were class VII students. The instrument used is a test to measure students' conceptual understanding of the material My Abilities and Limitations. The action is carried out in two cycles, at the end of each cycle, students are given a problem understanding test on the My Capabilities and Limitations material. The results obtained show a significant increase in students' understanding after implementing PBL. In cycle 1, the average student score was 69.63 with 75% completeness, but after implementing PBL more intensively in cycle 2, the average score increased to 83.31 with 94% completeness. PBL not only improves cognitive aspects, but also helps students reflect on their abilities and limitations.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Belimbing for the 2024/2025 school year in the subject of Catholic Religious Education through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles with 2 meetings each cycle. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The subject matter discussed was "I am the Unique Image of Allah". The subjects in this study are grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Belimbing for the 2024/2025 school year consisting of 10 students. The data collection technique is in the form of test results carried out at the end of cycle I and cycle II, observation results during learning in cycle I and cycle II. The results of the study show that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Belimbing starting from cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness was 80%, and in the second cycle, the percentage of completeness reached 100%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 7 Belimbing.

Abstract

This research desires to know the Cooperative learning model in general in an effort to improve the independent learning of students in the classroom. Data collection and literature study using Classroom Action Research through data from cycle 1 and comparison results from cycle II. Cooperative is willing to help or be cooperative, in cooperative activities always require a group. While the Group is a group of several people who have the same goals desires and expectations. Meanwhile, group learning is a process of planned and directed learning activities involving more than one person so that where between one person and another complement each other. In learning the Cooperative method in this Classroom action research aims to increase independent learning, which means that if students are able to learn independently, it can describe that increased learning in Catholic religious education. The problem in this study is that the application of cooperative learning methods has not been applied optimally in learning. Research based on the problem, (a) How is the implementation of cooperative learning methods in Catholic Religious Education lessons to improve independent learning in class IX students of SMPN 2 Banyuke Hulu. (b) How is the improvement of student learning outcomes after applying Cooperative Method learning in Catholic religious education subjects. The objectives of this action research are; (a) to find out the Implementation of Cooperative Method Learning in Catholic religious education. (b) to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after the application of Cooperative Method Learning in Catholic religious education subjects for class IX students of SMPN 2 Banyuke Hulu.

Abstract

Paradigma Pedagogi Reflektif terintegrasi Flipped Classroom pada materi Majapahit mempersatukan nusantara merupakan implementasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada kelas Media Pembelajaran Sejarah menggunakan sarana peta timbul. Tujuan penelitian yang pertama menguraikan pengalaman pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Paradigma Pedagogi Reflektif terintegrasi Flipped Classroom menggunakan media pembelajaran peta timbul, yang kedua ialah menganalisis hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Paradigma Pedagogi Reflektif terintegrasi Flipped classroom menggunakan media pembelajaran peta timbul. Metode penulisan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Subjek penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Sanata Dharma angkatan 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dapat berdinamika dan menjawab hasil penugasan berdasarkan 3 nilai keutamaan dalam PPR yaitu  nilai Competence atau penggalian konteks didapatkan hasil rata-rata mahasiswa mendapatkan 87% tingkat pemahaman dalam penggalian konteks pemahaman materi,  Pada nilai Compassion penggalian pengalaman, ada sekitar 86% pengalaman yang didapat untuk memaknai dinamika pengerjaan proyek dan sebagian besar memahami bahwa pengerjaan proyek peta timbul memliki banyak tantangan. Mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai Conscience dengan cara merefleksikan proses pengalaman dan banyak yang merasa mendapatkan wawasan dan pemaknaan dari pengerjaan media pembelajaran peta timbul, karena ada sekitar 88% mahasiswa yang mampu menggali nilai ketelitian, kesabaran, kreativitas serta tanggungjawab. Tindak lanjut dari hasil pembelajaran bahwa ada 21 mahasiswa yang akan menggunakan media yang sama dengan alasan kebermaknaan dalam dinamika kelompok  dalam pengerjaannya, dan menambah kemampuan metakognitif untuk menemukan relevansi pembelajaran sejarah. Sedangkan ada 4 mahasiswa yang tidak menggungakan karena memakan waktu, tenaga dan biaya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning interest through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, supported by audio-visual media, on the topic “Kemampuanku Terbatas” in Catholic Religious Education. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted at SMP Regina Pacis Belitung, Grade VII, involving 12 students. The focus of the research was to enhance students' engagement and learning motivation, which previously showed low levels of interest. The study was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, the average score of students' learning interest reached 17.83, indicating sufficient participation but not yet optimal. Through the PBL intervention, using audio-visual media as a learning aid, the lessons became more interactive and engaging. In the second cycle, the average learning interest score increased to 20, with an average improvement of 2.17 points. These results demonstrate that the implementation of PBL, supported by audio-visual media, effectively enhances students' interest and engagement. The students became more active in solving problems and more motivated to participate in discussions and group learning activities. The visual media also contributed to a better understanding of the material. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the PBL model, complemented by audio-visual media, be applied in religious education to deepen understanding and increase students' learning interest.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes and cooperative attitudes between students by using the Problem Based and Learning model assisted by visual media in students of SMP Negeri 1 Mardingding. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Mardingding involving 8 Catholic students in the 2024/2025 academic year. Actions are carried out in two learning cycles. Data were collected with observation guidelines, tests in each cycle, and analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. Based on the learning outcomes of grade VII students out of 8 students, only 3 people or 33.33% obtained a score above the KKM or completed it. Meanwhile, 5 other students or 66.66% have not finished. Thus, the application of methods that can improve student learning outcomes that can be done is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. PBL not only improves cognitive aspects, but also helps students in reflecting on their abilities and limitations.

Abstract

Saverius Sozanolo Waruwu, 2024. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in the Catholic Religious Education subject for eighth-grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Moro’o. Based on initial observations, it was found that students' learning outcomes had not met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP), ranging between 60-75, and their critical reasoning skills were still at a sufficient level. This was due to the teaching methods being primarily lecture-based and narrative. To address this issue, the researcher attempted to implement the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Catholic Religious Education classes. The subjects of this study consisted of five eighth-grade students. In the first cycle, 80% of the students achieved mastery, but this did not meet the target of 85%. After improvements were made in the second cycle, learning outcomes increased to 100%, with all students reaching the set mastery level. Additionally, the students' critical thinking skills also improved. In the first cycle, the average critical thinking score was 2.9, which was categorized as sufficient. However, in the second cycle, after the implementation of PBL, the score increased to 3.65, indicating a significant improvement in critical thinking skills. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium documentary film based on material on the Catholic Church's role in maintaining Indonesia's independence, which is suitable to be used by the XII grade senior high school students in history subjects specializing in basic competence 3.11 concerning responses to Indonesian independence. The research is the type of R&D (Research and Development) using the Borg & Gall model modified by Nana Syodih Sukmadinata. The product has been validated by two material experts, two media experts, and two film experts. Field trials were conducted through response interviews with one History teacher and two grade XII students. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and questionnaires with quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The material expert validation results obtained a score of 4.6 with the "Very Good" criterion. The material expert validation two results obtained a score of 4.5 with the "Very Good" criterion. The validation results of Film Expert 1 obtained a score of 4.5 with the "Very Good" criterion. The validation results of Film Experts 2 obtained a score of 3.8 with the "Good" criteria. The validation results of Learning Media Experts 1 obtained a score of 4.7 with the "Very Good" criterion. The validation results of Learning Media Experts 1 obtained a score of 4.9 with the "Very Good" criterion. The results of interviews with teachers and students' responses concluded that the product was excellent and feasible to use.
