Abstract

Abstrak:Etnomatematika menjadi kajian tren penelitian saat ini. Etnomatematika memberikan pengaruh positif dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan melibatkan potensi budaya. Matematika perlu dikomunikasikan dengan menyisipkan budaya sehingga siswa mudah memahami materi. Oleh karena itu, etnomatematika perlu diintegrasikan dengan suatu model pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model probing-prompting berbasis etnomatematika yang dapat melatih komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Instructional Development Institute (IDI) dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu menentukan, mengembangkan, dan mengevaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas 8 MTs Negeri Sidorejo Banyuwangi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, lembar validasi, dan tes. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa kisi-kisi soal, soal tes, LKS, dan RPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan guru untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Abstract:Ethnomatematics becomes current study trend. It gives positive influence in learning mathematics by involving cultural potential. Mathematics needs to be communicated by integrating culture so that students easily understand the material. Therefore, ethnomatematics needs to be integrated with a learning model. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop an ethnomatematics-based probing-prompting learning device that can train student’s mathematical communication. The study used a development model of the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) with three stages, namely defining, developing, and evaluating. The research subjects were 30 eighth grade students at MTs Negeri Sidorejo Banyuwangi. Data were collected through questionnaire, observation, validation sheet, and test. The learning device consists of the prediction of test problems, test problems, student’s worksheet, and lesson plan. The result of the study shows that the learning device fulfill valid, practical, and effective criterion. The learning device can be used by teachers to develop students' mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

Commuting graph C(G) of a non-Abelian group G is a graph that contains all elements of G as its vertex set and two distinct vertices in C(G) will be adjacent if they are commute in G. In this paper we discuss commuting graph of dihedral group D2n. We show radius, diameter, cycle multiplicity, and metric dimension of this commuting graph in several theorems with their proof.

Abstract

Upaya pengembangan potensi alam sangatlah penting untuk meningkatkan potensi wisata Desa Jatisari. Beberapa cara dilakukan untuk menjadikannya sebagai desa wisata. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata yang dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Jatisari Kecamatan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan untuk kegiatan pengembangan wisata ini adalah survei lokasi wisata dan perancangan desain. Kegiatan ini berupa perancangan desain wisata dengan bentuk animasi. Pihak perangkat desa dan masyarakat memberikan respons positif terhadap produk rancangan. Hasil perancangan ini dapat dijadikan acuan untuk pembangunan selanjutnya secara bertahap.Kata Kunci: perancangan desain; potensi alam; desa wisata.Tourism Design Design for the Development of Jatisari Village's Natural PotentialABSTRACT Efforts to develop natural potential are very important to increase the tourism potential of Jatisari Village. Several methods are used to make it a tourism village. The purpose of this activity is to develop tourism potential that can improve the economy of the community in the Jatisari Village, Tajinan District, Malang. The implementation method used for this tourism development activity was a survey of tourist sites and design construction. The activity is in the form of tourism design construction with an animation form. Village officials and the community responded positively to the product design. The results of this design can be used as a reference for further development gradually.Keywords: design construction; natural potential; tourism village.

Abstract

Metakognisi memiliki peran penting terhadap keberhasilan dalam proses pemecahan masalah. Penguasaan peserta didik terhadap metakognisi untuk memecahkan masalah, perlu diimbangi dengan spiritual yang kuat. Selain itu, segitiga sebagai materi yang dipelajari di sekolah, masih memiliki masalah terkait pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi dapat menjadi salah satu solusi. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengetahui kevalidan modul pembelajaran segitiga berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan angket validasi kepada 5 ahli dan 3 praktisi pendidikan. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik untuk menghitung persentase skor angket. Hasil komentar dan saran pada angket, digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan revisi modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran segitiga berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi berada pada kualifikasi valid dengan persentase nilai akhir 85%.Kata kunci: Modul, Segitiga, Metakognisi, IntegrasiMetacognition has played a significant role in the success of the problem-solving process. Mastery of learners of metacognition to solved problems needs to harmonized with solid spirituality. Additionally, the triangle as a material studied in school still has matters related to problem-solving. Thus, developing a learning module based on metacognition and integration could be one solution. The purpose of this study determining the validity of the triangle learning module based on metacognition and integration. Data collection techniques were carried by providing validation questionnaires to 5 experts and 3 education practitioners. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical analysis to calculate the percentage of the questionnaire scores. The results of comments and suggestions on the questionnaire, used as a reference for revising the module. The results showed that the triangular learning module based on metacognition and integration was in a valid qualification with a final score percentage of 85%.Keywords: Modules, Triangles, Metacognition, Integration

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools frequently encountered obstacles in material delivery. It was due to the abstract concepts of mathematics and the character of students who entered the concrete operational phase. Ethnomathematics learning could become an effort to overcome those obstacles. The purpose of this study was to determined the effectiveness of learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game" on the understanding of geometry concept for third-grade students of SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. This study used a mixed-method approach with the type of experimental research one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were through written tests and interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and used paired sample t-test. The qualitative data was analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game" obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, so that it had a significant effect on the understanding of the geometry concept of students in grade III SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. Based on the results of the interview, it found that the student response was good. Teachers stated that students were enthusiastic during the learning, which led to an increase in learning outcomes before and after learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game."

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas X rendah yang ditemukan pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Hal tersebut disebabkan kemampuan siswa lemah dalam menganalisis, menafsirkan dan merepresentasikan pemecahan masalah matematika yang berkaitan dengan situasi dunia nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa kelas X setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan teori belajar bermakna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pretest dan posttest yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa Madrasah Aliyah kelas X yang terdiri dari 14 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 13 siswa pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes kemampuan literasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa di kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan teori belajar bermakna dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas X.

Abstract

Learning media in the form of teaching aids was necessary for learning in elementary schools caused students in this grade were in the concrete operational stage. This study aimed to determine the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of the Geoboard teaching aid on similarity and symmetry topics for fifth-grade of elementary school students. The development of the Geoboard teaching aid in this study used the Borg and Gall model. Subjects of feasibility consisted of three experts and one practitioner, attractiveness subjects consisted of 6 students, and effectiveness subjects consisted of fifth-grade students in one public elementary school in Mojokerto, East Java. The results showed that the feasibility of the Geoboard teaching aid on similarity and symmetry topics obtained a percentage score of 91% on the material aspect, 96% on the media design aspect, 90% on the mathematics learning aspect, and 90% on the practical aspect. The percentage of the attractiveness test score reached 99.03%. The data analysis results by independent sample t-test showed that the Geoboard teaching aid significantly improved student learning outcomes. Overall, it could conclude that the Geoboard teaching aid on similarity and symmetry topics was feasible, attractive, and effective for fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh efikasi diri dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini didesain dalam bentuk pendekatan Mixed Methods yang mengkombinasikan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif (Sequantial Explanatory). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda menggunakan SPSS Versi 23,0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri dan motivasi belajar yang signifikan positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of self-efficacy and learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is designed in the form of a Mixed Methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis (Sequantial Explanatory). The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS Version 23.0. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of self-efficacy and learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Integrative mathematics learning is needed in the study of science and religion, especially in the madrassa and the Islamic University, to improve morality for all students in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the hadith regarding integers and integer operations in integrative mathematics learning. Mathematical learning is expected to increase students' religious knowledge and mathematical knowledge. The method used in this research is literature study. In the hadith, some integers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and integer operations, namely addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The hadiths related to numbers and number operations are HR. Bukhari 40; 71; 15; 33; 1334; 1761; 1109, HR. Muslim 19; 1984; 1513; 1991, HR. Darmini 3174, HR. Ibnu Khuzaimah 301, and HR. Tirmidhi 565.

Abstract

Science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) have been applied in various countries because they have been able to answer the challenges of the globalization era. The implementation of STEAM at school has demanded that teachers have a role in making a relationship between disciplines in science contained in STEAM. The purpose of this research was to describe the perceptions of experienced teachers about math-focused STEAM learning. The research was a descriptive study on 14 vocational high school mathematics teachers in Malang, Indonesia. They had 20-30 years of teaching experience. Data were collected using essay questionnaires. The result showed that their perceptions of STEAM learning were positive. However, they also said that there were several obstacles to math-focused STEAM learning. The first obstacle was the unavailability of supporting literature. The second obstacle was that there were teachers who have no received training. The third obstacle was only a limited number of mathematics material that can be applied in STEAM learning. Additionally, the teacher stated that mathematics was more suitable as supporting contain in STEAM learning than as the primary focus.
