Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to provide a framework to think about the role of participatory budgeting to improve managerial performance is associated with organizational culture and relationship between individuals at nonprofit organizations. Participatory budgeting process to function properlyand implemented well, if supported by the device work, human resources, individual relationships within the organization, and culture that has taken hold in a nonprofit organization. Each nonprofit organization aims to improve services and performance-oriented but not profit. Several nonprofit organizations have undergone repositioning and development organization which aims other than to provide services to the community also increases the profits from service operations.

Abstract

AbstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh CSR terhadap profitabilitas PT.TELKOM Tbk yang memperoleh penganugerahan CSR Award 2008. Penelitian ini menggunakan CSR Disclosure Indeks (CSRI) dengan indikator GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) sebagai variabel independen serta tiga variabel dependen profitabilitas perusahaan yang terdiri dari ROA, ROE, dan EPS. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan penerapan CSR tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA dan EPS, namun penerapan CSR berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ROE. Hal ini dapat dikarenakan krisis ekonomi global yang terjadi pada tahun 2008 sehingga hasil penelitian ini kurang efektif dan mayoritas investor berorientasi pada kinerja jangka pendek jadi belum mulai menjadikan informasi CSR perusahaan sebagai salah satu tolok ukur dalam investasi.

Abstract

Consumer financing is one of financial alternative that interest both public and enterpreneur to support their business life and will make the competition tightly. Financial company offers not only a competitive interest rate but also flexible regulation and good services to satisfy customers. Financial business is grouped in services business, so the product offered and how the product offered cannot be separated with good quality of services. These become company competitive advantage. Service offered can be measured with 5 indicators : customer involvement, time and place, image and responsibility of company. From these indicators, we can see weather performance indicators are good or bad. Service quality can be measured with 5 service quality dimensions : Tangible, emphaty, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. From 5 dimensions, can be determined what dimension is good or bad. The purpose of this study is to investigate (1) performance and expectation on service quality offered to PT. BFI Finance’s customers, (2) Customer Loyalty at PT. BFI Finance, (3) How good is the service quality offered. The result of this research showed that service delivery and service qualitu variable have significant contribution on customer loyalty (67,63%). Meanwhile, partially service delivery also show a significant contribution on customer loyalty  (28,39%) and service delivery contribution about (39,24%). The result mean that service delivery have more influence than service delivery on custo mer loyalty, and the influence of other factor about 32.37%. the result also showed that there are three level of customer loyalty at PT. BFI Finance Jambi: Repeat customer level (84.2%), client level (78.5%) and advocate level (72.8%).

Abstract

Human resources are the main actors in regional economic development, so readiness is needed in creating quality human resources. Education graduates in fulfilling the need for social services and employment are still often a burden on the government, the factors causing the lack of skills in students are the lack of meaning and not yet contextual in learning patterns so that the value of life includes independence, innovation, creativity and life skills start to disappear. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of applying the project based learning model with the case method in developing ecopreneurship attitudes among students teaching environmental management courses. The research method as an evaluation stage used in this research is descriptive research method. The analysis used is qualitative analysis by collecting data from the results of in-depth interviews and observations of students who teach environmental management courses. The results of the research are that the project based learning model in environmental management courses using the case method can improve ecopreneurship attitudes in students, environmental management problems and solutions, business people and academics are required to be able to foster an ecopreneurship attitude in order to be able to innovate to provide solutions to environmental problems

Abstract

This study seeks to reveal trends in higher education research management as a response to the importance of higher education's contribution to bringing novelty to science through solid research management. The research method of systematic literature review through the PRISMA guideline approach was carried out to see the trends of various studies related to higher education research management. The results of the study show that the trend of higher education research management has begun to move from institutional grant management to project-based research management and expertise. The research data base system has entered the realm of substance that can be widely accessed as a form of contribution to science as well as efforts to downstream research results. Gender-sensitive research management is also a trend found in this study.

Abstract

Downstreaming the results of ’lecturers’ research is a strategic activity to improve the performance of a higher education institution (HEI) which requires research on mapping the commercialization potential. This research aims to understand the role of research centres in the commercialization process and increasing start-ups at one Indonesian university, Universitas Jambi (UNJA). Besides, this research maps the potential for commercialization assessed from the valuation system and technology readiness levels (TRL). This research is important for achieving the institution vision of " a world-class entrepreneurship university based on agroindustry and environment”. The results are expected to contribute to empirical thinking for formulating research policies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with research lecturers and leadership elements as the informants. The TLR of the research is 5, and the research output is in the form of publications in indexed international journals, international seminar certificates, and registered textbooks. The results of the study indicate that policies and programs to increase the commercialization of research results have been carried out. A start-up planning and valuation system has also been done and has a good opportunity to increase the commercialization of research results.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Kampung Markisa, Karawaci, Tangerang, bertujuan meningkatkan minat baca dan belajar melalui revitalisasi perpustakaan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan yang melibatkan koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, observasi kondisi perpustakaan dan masyarakat, penyusunan program kerja yang komprehensif, serta pelaksanaan program yang mencakup pembersihan, pengecatan, penambahan rak buku, dan perbaikan fasilitas. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah pengunjung perpustakaan dan minat baca masyarakat. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan mahasiswa dalam proses revitalisasi mempererat hubungan komunitas. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan koordinasi, alokasi sumber daya yang memadai, pengembangan program literasi berkelanjutan, dan pelibatan lebih banyak pihak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect ofproduct innovation and product quality partially and simultaneously oncompetitive advantage at Batak Restaurant inAlam Barajo District, Jambi City. Thisresearch uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling method uses the Structural Equation Model method and uses Maximum Likehood Estimation (MLE). The sample inthis study were consumers at Batak Restaurant in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City, totaling 98 respondents. The data collected using a questionnaire withan ordinal scale. The data analysis method in this study usedSPSS version 25.0 software. The results ofthe study prove that Product Innovation and Product Quality have a significant effect simultaneously on Competitive Advantage, Product Innovation has a significant effect partially on competitive advantage and Product Quality has a partial effect on Competitive Advantage at Batak Restaurant in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City. The product quality variable is the most dominant variable affecting competitive advantage in Batak Restaurant in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City.
