Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Reward, Punishment, Interpersonal Communication and discipline to social student achievement in economic subject at senior high school Rumbai Pekanbaru. The population in this study as many as 744 students. The sampling technique used was Random Sampling thus obtained a sample of 261 student. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. Analysis of the data in this study using Path Aalysis using program SPSS 16.00 for windows. The results of this study show reward significant and positive impact on the discipline, punishment significant and positive impact on the discipline, interpersonal communication significant and positive impact on the discipline, reward significant and positive impact on the student achievement, punishment significant and positive impact on the student achievement, interpersonal communication significant and positive impact on the student achievement, and discipline significant and positive impact on the student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the face-to-face learning process with online learning on the effectiveness of student learning in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The design of this study uses the Quasi Experiment method. The population in this study was 78 students from all XI Accounting Classes at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The sample used in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class (XI AK2) with 26 students and the control class (XI AK1) with 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation and multiple choice tests. The research instrument tests used include the validity of the questions and the reliability of the questions, the level of difficulty test, and the test of discriminating power. Furthermore, inferential statistical tests were carried out, namely normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used is the ANCOVA test to answer the research hypothesis. Based on the results of this study, it can be obtained that there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of student learning through the face-to-face learning process and online learning on the learning effectiveness of students in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. This is evidenced by the calculation of the ancova test listed in the Tests of Between-Subjects Effects table, the significance level in the line "Learning effectiveness" is 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be explained that student learning can be said to be effective if mastery learning can be achieved properly through a supportive learning process so that interactions between teachers and students as well as fellow students can spur high enthusiasm for students, so that teachers can create an educative learning atmosphere and conducive.

Abstract

Technology developments are the main foundation in changing life in this digital era. The widespread use of technology is clear evidence that humans and technology cannot live separately. 5.0 society is the concept that technology will coexist with humans to improve a good quality of life. Tourism is one sector that can benefit from the 5.0 era of society. Through digital content, people can find tourist objects they want to visit by searching various digital media or what is often called social media. This research uses a conceptual review to review the use of digital content as an effort to increase tourism promotion in the era of 5.0 society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a strategy model for optimizing the achievement of IKU 5 at Jambi University. The Main Performance Index (KPI) is a benchmark of achievement made by universities in Indonesia. As a highlight, Jambi University's KPI 5 became one of the indicators whose achievement exceeded the target of 142.05%, compared to other KPI achievements. However, this achievement was not accompanied by an increase in achievement growth compared to the previous year. The decline in growth from the previous year was -51.12%. This study uses action research methods. The deepening of the problem is carried out by direct observation and document review. The available information is used as the basis for formulating a strategy model for achieving KPI 5 at Jambi University. The results of the study indicate that the main problems that need to be resolved are related to (a) management of recognition of Lecturer Performance Burden (BKD), (b) internationally recognized research ideas and results, and (c) lecturer participation in conducting research and community service. The strategies developed include (a) planning research outcomes that meet the KPI 5 indicators, (b) improving BKD management, (c) providing incentives, and (d) participation of international academic associations.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide training in the use of Mendeley to Jambi University History Education students to overcome various problems faced by students in writing scientific papers. Students often encounter problems or problems in writing, for example: 1) lack of consistency in the theme/title with the content of the writing, 2) unfocused problem formulation, 3) sub-chapters are less detailed, 4) quotations in the literature review are not relevant to the bibliography, 5) Conclusion does not describe the content of the writing, 6) EYD is not correct, and 7) writing system is not guided by applicable writing standards. Mendeley is an application that can be used to make it easier for students to cite and compile bibliography in writing scientific papers in a more efficient way. This training activity was carried out in three stages, namely preparation, training implementation and evaluation. It is hoped that this training can be a positive motivation for students and be able to improve their skills in writing scientific papers which will also have an impact on improving the quality of students' scientific work within Jambi University.

Abstract

This service is motivated by the independent curriculum policy which has a program to improve literacy and numeracy of students. Strengthening literacy and numeracy for students at SDN 022 Kota Jambi requires the involvement of various stakeholders such as school supervisors, principals teachers, and teaching staff at school. The purpose of the literacy and numeracy service at SDN 022 Jambi City is first, to hone and strengthen the knowledge and numeracy skills of students in interpreting numbers, data, tables, graphs and diagrams. Second, to apply literacy and numeracy knowledge and skills to solve problems and make decisions in everyday life based on logical considerations. Third, forming and strengthening resources (SDA) to be able to compete and collaborate with other nations for the prosperity and welfare of the nation and state. The literacy and numeracy program is carried out in the form of making reading corners, literacy trees, numeracy ice, making fraction pizzas and socializing the 3 big sins of education.

Abstract

M-Learning allows easier and wider access to learning. The combination of images, video, audio, and interactive interaction allows for a more engaging learning experience and allows students to be actively involved in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the steps of the Instagram-based project-based learning model with a Mobile Learning approach in helping students understand the final project. This research is classroom action research (PTK). There are two cycles in this class action research. In each cycle the learning process has improved according to the predetermined assessment aspects. Group 4 had a considerable percentage change of 22% where the first cycle score of groups 4 was 64.6 and increased in cycle II to 79. The highest scores in cycle II were in groups 1 and 5 where each percentage change was 12% in group 1 and 16% in group 5. Combining the popularity of Instagram with a project-based learning approach can help students learn research methodology courses in a practical, relevant way and allow students to learn anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

This study seeks to reveal trends in higher education research management as a response to the importance of higher education's contribution to bringing novelty to science through solid research management. The research method of systematic literature review through the PRISMA guideline approach was carried out to see the trends of various studies related to higher education research management. The results of the study show that the trend of higher education research management has begun to move from institutional grant management to project-based research management and expertise. The research data base system has entered the realm of substance that can be widely accessed as a form of contribution to science as well as efforts to downstream research results. Gender-sensitive research management is also a trend found in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pedagogy knowledge Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Jambi pada mata Kuliah Strategi Pembelajaran Ekonomi. Analisis data menngunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelasa (PTK). Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah mahasiswa kelas R001 semester 3 mata kuliah Strategi Pembelajaran Ekonomi Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Jambi Tahun Akademik 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian ditunjukan dari hasil observasi selama pembelajaran serta penilaian produk/karya mahasiswa. Pedagogy knowledge mahasiswa dalam membuat karya mengalami peningkatan dalam setiap siklusnya dapat dilihat pada siklus I dan II. Peningkatan hasil kemampuan pedagogy knowledge mahasiswa adalah sebesar 25,40%. Peningkatan tersebut diperoleh dari hasil pencapain evaluasi pada siklus I 62,05% dengan kategori sedang sedangkan pada siklus II naik menjadi 87,45%. Kemudian, dalam menerapakan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) yang dinilai dari hasil pengamatan observasi terhadap produk yang dihasilkan pada siklus I yakni 68,43% terkategori cukup dan siklus II meningkat 87,22% kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siklus I dan II terjadi peningkatan yaitu dimana persentase nilai >75 siklus I adalah 63,16% sedangkan siklus II menjadi 86,84% hal tersebut berarti terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 23,68%. Maka dapat disimpulkan setelah di terapkan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) untuk meningkatkan pedagogy knowledge berpengaruh sangat signifikan dikarenakan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran tersebut nilai mahasiswa meningkat serta mahasiswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dalam pembelajaran berbentuk proyek.

raining in making digital modules as learning aids has become a necessity for educators to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process in the classroom. the purpose of this service is to improve the quality of learning through the use of technology in the preparation of innovative and interactive teaching materials in the form of e-modules. the method used is the first, determining the location of the activity. Second, determining target partners, third, types of activities. Fourth, the activity stage is divided into the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the reflection stage. the results obtained in this training are teachers at SMAN 6 Batanghari who participated in this training totaling 26 people. This teacher knows, recognizes and understands the Flipbuilder application and is proficient in making e-modules using this application so that they can be used as teaching materials for students. The conclusion of this service is that this training is very useful for teachers and students in the form of e-module products.ABSTRAKPelatihan pembuatan modul digital sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran telah menjadi kebutuhan bagi tenaga pendidik untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pembelajaran di kelas. tujuan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penyusunan materi ajar yang inovatif dan interaktif dalam bentuk e-modul. metode yang digunakan adalah yang pertama, penentuan lokasi kegiatan. Kedua, menentukan mitra sasaran, ketiga, Jenis Kegiatan. Keempat, tahap kegiatan yang dibagi kedalam tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap refleksi. hasil yang didapat dalam pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru di SMAN 6 Batanghari yang ikut dalam pelatihan ini berjumlah 26 orang. Guru ini mengetahui, mengenal dan memahami aplikasi Flipbuilder serta mahir dalam pembuatan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi ini sehingga bisa di jadikan bahan ajar untuk siswa. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa dalam bentuk produknya e-modul.
