Tulisan ini membahas peningkatan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dengan mengintegrasikan layananya di seluruh fakultas. Peningkatan ini dilihat dari sisi pemberdayaan sumberdaya manusia dan titik akses layanan. Riset ini dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara kepada pustakawan di lingkungan Fakultas dan peneliti sebagai informan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan riset dapat dilakukan dengan integrasi pengelolaan perpustakaan secara terpusat. Integrasi perpustakaan dapat dilkaukan dengan adanya persamaan persepsi visi dan misi lembaga. Semakin skses layanan dapat dirasakan berkualitas oleh pemustaka maka semakin memperlihatkan peningkatan kinerja perpustakaan.

Introduction. Providing school library services to increase students' interest in reading is still an important study for school libraries. Increasing reading interest in the SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan Library is carried out by providing collaborative services to improve scientific communication. This research needs to be carried out so that the services provided by the library can accommodate all students in reading interest services and become basic research for school libraries in the South Tangerang area.Methodology. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a correlation coefficient test to answer the hypothesis. The population is 346 students, so a sample of 186 respondents is obtained using a simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires were distributed to 186 students with Likert scale scores with four alternative answers and documentation studies to complete data collection.Results and Discussion. This study found a relationship between library services and students' reading interest, as evidenced by the contribution of 24.6% between library services and students' reading interest. In comparison, the remaining 75.4% was explained by other variables not examined. The tendency of library services to increase reading interest is still in the moderate category.Conclusion. This study describes the school's efforts to increase student's interest in reading with the strength of the services provided by the library. Reading skills need to be trained so that the more the library can provide the facilities needed for reading, the more trained students will be.

Integrating knowledge is familiar to the State Islamic University, which has a Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. One of the problems that arise is the library's role as an institution that manages knowledge and can meet the information needs of the academic community in the form of collections in various media, namely printed and online. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the collection development provided by the library. So the purpose of this research is to analyze how far the library collections of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Library of Health Sciences have developed in supporting scientific integration efforts at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. This study found that library managers carried out collection development by considering the courses and study programs in the faculties of health and medicine. The library focuses on gathering resources and materials relevant to the fields of health and medicine and paying attention to related aspects of Islamic ethics and culture. So the more relevant the collections provided by the library, the higher the quality of knowledge and information library users need.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini dengan topik tingkat kualitas layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kualitas layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini, dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan tiga dimensi dan indikator kualitas layanan pada metode LibQUAL+TM tanpa mengukur gap (perceived, minimum, desired) yaitu kemampuan dan sikap pustakawan dalam melayani (Affect of Service), kontrol informasi (Information Control), dan suasana ruang perpustakaan (Library as Place). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kualitas layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini yaitu Sangat Tinggi dengan hasil skor rata-rata 3,44 yang berada pada skala interval 3,26 – 4,00 yang artinya Sangat Tinggi. Dengan rincian tingkat kualitas layanan sirkulasi terhadap kemampuan dan sikap pustakawan dalam melayani (Affect of Service) 3,48 (sangat tinggi), kontrol informasi (Information Control) 3,47 (sangat tinggi), dan fasilitas dan suasana ruang perpustakaan (Library as Place) 3,39 (sangat tinggi). Secara keseluruhan tingkat kualitas layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini adalah Sangat Tinggi yaitu dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan dari dimensi dan indikator-indikator kualitas layanan sirkulasi adalah 3,44. Maka, Perpustakaan Umum Jakarta Cikini sudah memenuhi variabel kualitas layanan diantaranya kemampuan dan sikap pustakawan dalam melayani (Affect of Service), kontrol informasi (Information Control), dan suasana ruang perpustakaan (Library as Place).

Background of the Study: The loss of archives leads to the disappearance of valuable recorded information. Family archives serve as crucial assets tied to identity, legal evidence, and property ownership. The Provincial Archival Institution plays a key role in educating the public and providing facilities for archive preservation. One such initiative is LASIGA, a family archive preservation program by the Jakarta Provincial Library and Archives Office (DISPUSIP). Objectives: This research aimed to analyze the implementation of the LASIGA program in Kwitang, North Jakarta. It examined DISPUSIP’s role in promoting awareness and engagement in family archive preservation. Method: A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving three informants directly participating in LASIGA activities. Data collection included observations and documentation, followed by analysis to assess the program's effectiveness. Finding: The study found that DISPUSIP actively conducted outreach programs across Jakarta, educating the public on the significance of family archives. These initiatives emphasized archives as personal and national assets, successfully encouraging public participation in digitization efforts. The LASIGA program fostered enthusiasm among residents to preserve their records, reflecting the Jakarta government's commitment to archive conservation. Conclusion: The LASIGA program effectively increased public awareness of family archive preservation. Through educational outreach and facilitation, DISPUSIP successfully promoted the importance of safeguarding historical and legal documents for future generations.

Manuscripts, often overlooked by the government and society, hold crucial information, with the Yayasan Surya Pringga Dermayu standing out as a dedicated activist organization in Indramayu, striving to preserve this cultural heritage. This study investigates the organization's preservation efforts and how they navigate challenges. Two main strategies emerge; physical preservation involves conservation activities, cleaning, and storage, while content preservation employs transliteration, recopying, and digitization in collaboration with governmental and international entities. Obstacles include the lack of a set maintenance schedule, limited human resources, and insufficient funding. Mitigation efforts involve periodic maintenance, urging youth involvement, and collaboration with local governments. The Surya Pringga Dermayu foundation serves as a noteworthy example, emphasizing the need for broader societal and governmental recognition of manuscript preservation's importance. === Manuskrip menyimpan informasi penting yang sering kali dianggap kurang mendapat perhatian. Sanggar Aksara Jawa Surya Pringga Dermayu menonjol sebagai organisasi pelestari naskah di Indramayu yang berdedikasi melestarikan warisan budaya ini. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi upaya pelestarian organisasi dan bagaimana mereka mengatasi tantangan. Terdapat dua strategi utama; pelestarian fisik melibatkan kegiatan konservasi, pembersihan, dan penyimpanan, sementara pelestarian konten melibatkan transliterasi, penyalinan, dan digitalisasi dengan kerjasama lembaga pemerintah dan internasional. Kendala melibatkan jadwal pemeliharaan yang tidak pasti, sumber daya manusia yang terbatas, dan pendanaan yang kurang memadai. Upaya mitigasi melibatkan pemeliharaan berkala, dorongan partisipasi pemuda, dan kerja sama dengan pemerintah setempat. Sanggar Aksara Jawa Surya Pringga Dermayu menjadi contoh nyata, menekankan perlunya pengakuan lebih luas dari masyarakat dan pemerintah akan pentingnya pelestarian manuskrip.

The Freedom of Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) policy serves as a key strategy for higher education reform in Indonesia. This study explores the implementation of the MBKM curriculum in the Educational Management Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta and Universitas Negeri Malang using a qualitative approach. The findings indicate that internship programs, social projects, and teaching assistance enhance students’ competencies and the relevance of learning to labor market demands. However, challenges remain in terms of coordination, lecturers’ digital readiness, differences in academic culture. Therefore, strengthening the role of lecturers, expanding external partnerships, developing an adaptive curriculum are required to ensure the sustainability of MBKM implementation and improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia

This article discusses the archives saving of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia as part of the historical development of Islamic syiar in Indonesia, which also shows the important role of Muslims for the progress of the nation. The purpose of this research is to know the saving effort of the archives conducted by two of the largest Islamic social organizations in Indonesia, namely NU and Muhammadiyah. The research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The results show that NU has begun rescue archives by submitting a static archive since 2014, although internal efforts have been made since 1983, while Muhammadiyah has done so since 2012. Structurally, both have specialized agencies whose task is related to this mission; Lakpesdam NU and the Library and Information Council of Muhammadiyah.The Islamic organization archives are also managed by competent human resources in the field supported by activist and intellectual leaders. Thus, it can be concluded that this Islamic mass organization has shown serious concern in saving Islamic archives through development of policy, plan and program procedure of archives.---Artikel ini membahas tentang penyelamatan rekam jejak organisasi Islam di Indonesia sebagai bagian bukti dari sejarah perkembangan syiar Islam di Indonesia, yang juga menunjukkan peran penting umat Islam bagi kemajuan bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya penyelamatan arsip yang tercipta di dua organisasi kemasyarakatan Islam terbesar di Indonesia, yakni NU dan Muhammadiyah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NU telah memulai penyelamatan arsip dengan menyerahkan arsip statis sejak 2014, meskipun upaya internal telah dilakukan sejak 1983, sementara Muhammadiyah telah melakukannya sejak 2012. Secara struktural ke duanya memiliki lembaga khusus yang salah satu tugasnya berkaitan dengan misi ini, masing-masing adalah Lakpesdam NU dan Majelis Pustaka dan Informasi Muhammadiyah. Kearsipan ormas Islam ini juga dikelolah oleh SDM yang berkompeten di bidangnya dengan didukung oleh tokoh-tokoh aktivis dan intelektual. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ormas Islam ini telah menunjukkan perhatian serius dalam penyelamatan arsip keislaman melalui pengembangan kebijakan, rencana dan prosedur program kearsipan.DOI : 10.15408/bat.v24i1.7362

Abstract: The Toyota Way is a method of corporate governance that can be applied to any institution, including libraries. This can be seen from one of the concepts, kaizen, with the 5S tools (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke). Kaizen assesses the continuous increase in librarian productivity and focuses on empowering employees, not only on machine tools. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data sources from interviews, observation, and documentation focusing on the librarians of the General Faculties within UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, namely the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Faculty of Psychology. The study results found that libraries can apply the 5S principles (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke) in kaizen as a new technique for solving existing problems. The application of kaizen faces significant issues and minor problems, no matter how small the problem must be solved. Librarian productivity will increase by using suitable methods to achieve maximum results. It can be proven that applying kaizen can increase the efficiency of time utilization, prevent errors in service, and improve cleanliness and tidiness. In addition, commitment is needed in implementing a work culture between leaders and librarians. Keywords: The Toyota Way, kaizen, 5S (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke), librarianAbstrak: The Toyota Way merupakan metode dalam menata kelola perusahaan yang dapat diterapkan pada lembaga apapun termasuk perpustakaan. Hal ini terlihat dari salah satu konsepnya yakni kaizen dengan alatnya 5S (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke). Kaizen digunakan untuk menilai peningkatan produktivitas pustakawan yang berkesinambungan dan fokus dalam memberdayakan karyawannya bukan hanya pada alat mesin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan sumber data dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang berfokus pada pustakawan Fakultas Umum yang ada di lingkungan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, yakni Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Fakultas Kedokteran, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehtan, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, dan Fakultas Psikologi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa perpustakaan dapat menerapkan prinsip 5S (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke) dalam kaizen sebagai teknik baru dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Penerapan kaizen tidak hanya menghadapi permasalahan yang besar tetapi juga permasalahan kecil, sekecil apapun permasalahan itu haruslah diselesaikan. Produktivitas pustakawan akan meningkat dengan menggunakan metode yang tepat untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa penerapan kaizen dapat memberikan keuntungan meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan waktu, mencegah kesalahan dalam pelayanan, peningkatan bersih dan rapi.
