Abstract

Achieving success in recruiting teachers and leaders is more than just filling job openings. It's about recruiting the best teachers and leaders, developing and retaining them. In the words of Nelson Mandela, "Education is a big engine of personal development". One of the priorities of the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Religion in improving the quality of Islamic Education is improving the quality of learning through improving the quality of teachers. Improving the quality of teachers in madrasas is carried out through the Continuing Professional Development Program scheme. (PKB). One important component of the implementation of the PKB program for madrasah teachers is the important role of madrasa leadership in this case is the Madrasah Head. Several things can be done in the recruitment of Madrahan Principals, namely: providing training which is expected to provide opportunities for school coconuts and prospective principals to improve their competence, providing incentives, especially in rural areas with poor transportation access, and providing quotas or opportunities for female teachers to gain access to become leaders in madrasah.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of loneliness-related online learning on students during emergency remote teaching. Specifically, this study aims to: (1) evaluate the consistency between times of loneliness, burnout, and social self-efficacy, (2) examine the differences in the three measurements based on gender, and (3) examine the detrimental effects of loneliness on burnout and social self-efficacy of students at two Islamic state universities. Using a short-term longitudinal study design involving 237 students from two state Islamic universities. Data were analyzed using descriptive, comparative, correlation, and regression to test the proposed model. The results showed that loneliness and burnout at one point in time could consistently predict loneliness and burnout in the future. The comparative test results found differences in loneliness, burnout, and social self-efficacy based on gender, giving mixed results: significant differences were only found in loneliness (T2) and burnout (T2). Finally, there was no significant difference in social self-efficacy between male and female students at the two-time points.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze how a training model strengthens the competence of religious counselors in spreading the value of religious moderation. This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type by collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies. The research participants consisted of Religious Counselors working in various regions in Indonesia who participated in the education and training program for religious moderation activists conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs training center. The results showed that Religious Counselors need to increase their understanding of the principles of religious moderation, practical communication skills, and conflict-handling strategies. In addition, the training model can strengthen the competencies of religious counselors in disseminating the value of religious moderation and conducting their duties as religious counselors. This training model uses an andragogy learning approach with group discussions, case studies, simulations, and team-based training methods. The training materials such as interfaith dialogue, the concept of religious moderation, religious diversity, religious tolerance, and conflict management can strengthen the understanding of Religious Counselors about pluralism and religious moderation, communication skills, and building interfaith cooperation. After attending this training, the counselors became more confident in carrying out their duties and more prepared to deal with religion-driven social conflicts in the community. Furthermore, they can develop digital media learning on religious moderation through social media.AbstrakMakalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana model pelatihan untuk memperkuat kompetensi Penyuluh Agama dalam menyebarkan nilai moderasi agama. This analysis is based on the idea that effective strategies minimize weaknesses and threats if used correctly, this simple idea has a significant impact on how the strategy is created. Developing an appropriate conceptual model to determine company strategy and identifying optimal areas using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats, Opportunities) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) techniques will help further company strategy and build a conceptual model to find the optimal area.
