Abstract

Listrik merupakan kebutuhan energi utama yang banyak digunakan dalam berbagai hal. Penggunaan energi listrik terus menerus memiliki tingkat resiko bahaya yang lebh tinggi oleh karena itu dibutuhkanlah sebuat sistem proteksi untuk mencegah resiko bahaya yang dapat merusak alat atau bahkan manusia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut 1). Menjelaskan secara singkat mengenai sistem proteksi, 2). Menjelaskan sistem proteksi pada switchgear, 3). Menjelaskan komponen switchgear beserta fungsinya, 4). Menjelaskan bagaimana cara perawatan dari switchgear. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, menganalisis, implementasi dan evaluasi. Sistem proteksi switchgear ini mampu berjalan apabila hanya terjadi permasalahan yang melebihi batas nilai yang terpasang.

Abstract

Nowadays, plastic has become a material that is inseparable from human life. Plastic is considered an easily available, practical, light and modern material. ‎In order to be able to make a plastic product that suits what we want, of course we need adequate technology, both in terms of injection machines, injection molding, materials, methods and people. The way this injection molding machine works is by putting plastic pellets into a barrel which is then heated until it melts. The melted plastic is injected into the mold which is then cooled. After that, it is released from the mold and a plastic product is formed. Current analysis produces values of 23.2 A and 20 A, which are then used to calculate power in the injection molding process. The calculation results show a power of 8.7 KW and 7.5 KW based on the data obtained.

Abstract

The purpose of this journal article is to provide research findings regarding the application of automated production control system theory to the construction industry. from expediting work processes. The method used in this research is to observe the production process of a Primalland light steel construction company in real time. Please note, raw materials can be obtained from literature studies, with a focus on their implementation in industrial processes. There are many challenges in the development sector in Indonesia, both in terms of quality and quantity, PT. PrimaLand Light Steel Frame was founded on December 25 2008 in Pandeglang. Based on the research that has been carried out, the data obtained from this research is then analyzed in detail to determine whether there is a significant difference between price changes that affect sales volume and price changes that affect sales volume. Research on sales volume at PT PrimaLand Pandeglang between 2014 - 2016. PrimaLand light steel tries as best as possible to maintain the quality of the roof truss profile produced by using high quality steel coils, or what can be called High Tension, namely with a yield strength range of Mega Pascal 400 Mpa – 500 Mpa and generally standard G550, or reaching 2x the strength from conventional melted steel which is more than 240 Mpa.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a vital element in daily life, supporting nearly all equipment used. One of the main components in the electrical distribution system is the 20 kV cubicle. This cubicle plays an essential role in controlling power flow, protecting the system from faults, measuring electrical parameters, and enabling remote monitoring and control. Additionally, the cubicle functions to maintain the stability, reliability, and efficiency of power flow to load centers. However, various technical issues, such as short-circuit faults, protection system failures, and corona phenomena caused by high humidity, often threaten its performance. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the design and operation of 20 kV cubicles in electrical distribution systems. The research focuses on analyzing technical factors that affect energy efficiency and system reliability, as well as identifying challenges in implementation, such as installation and maintenance issues. The research methods include literature reviews, interviews, and field observations. The results indicate that modular designs, high-quality insulating materials, and modern technologies such as Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) enhance system efficiency and reliability. It is recommended that cubicle designs be adapted to the load capacity and routine maintenance be performed to maintain efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.

Abstract

Biometrics is a part of the field of technology that approaches recognition systems designed to be able to recognize and identify characteristic parts of the human body. Parts of the body in humans that are used such as faces and fingerprints are used as patterns to carry out needs in the identification process, then these body parts are used as objects for means of identifying presence. Raspberry Pi is used as a tool that processes the integrity of biometric objects that are used with the help of a webcam and fingerprint sensor to recognize someone's face and fingerprints. Then a Raspberry Pi-based Face Attendance System Prototype was designed using the Support Vector Machine method. The Support Vector Machine method based on supervised learning is used to solve classification and regression problems. By using the Support Vector Machine algorithm in MATLAB to process facial images, it is known that the accuracy value obtained by testing 25 students with facial images obtained 375 images divided from one student consisting of 15 images. 250 images of training data were tested with a result of 65.20% and 125 images of test data with a result of 66.40%.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of 20 Watt Peak photovoltaic energy as the main power supply of the prototype on the autonomous buoy because it is able to absorb energy from direct sunlight. Experimental research methods are used to measure voltage, current, and electrical power on components such as photovoltaic, solar charger controller, battery, and electric motor. Tests were conducted by varying the motor speed to analyze the power usage and the time taken to recharge the battery in a span of 10 minutes, to identify factors affecting the performance of the autonomous float. The test results show that at 0% motor speed, no power is used as the motor is not rotating. However, at 25% motor speed, the motor started to use 50.93 watts of power. When the motor speed was 100%, there was a considerable increase in power consumption, where the power consumption increased to 112.86 watts. Thus, these results show that the higher the motor speed, the more power is required. The test shows the change in buoy voltage when not working or when charging for 10 minutes. At 0% motor speed, the initial voltage remains 12 Volts. When charged, the voltage remains 12 Volts because it is not being used. At 25-50% motor speed, the voltage drops from 10 Volts when charging to 12 Volts. At 75-100% motor speed, the initial voltage of 9-10 Volts rises to 10-11 Volts when charging. This shows an increase in voltage when the buoy is charging autonomously or when it is not working. The conclusion of this research is that an understanding of the energy usage performance of autonomous buoys is necessary to optimize the energy usage of 20 Watt peak photovoltaic as a renewable energy source.

Abstract

Electricity is one of the vital needs that is indispensable for all humans and other places, one of which is PT. Cemindo Gemilang, engaged in the cement-producing industry, requires a huge electricity capacity. To reduce or reduce the cost of electrical energy, a power plant unit and a WHRS (waste heats recovery system) were made to supply electrical energy to the cement plant area. PT. Cemindo Gemilang and the Power Plant rely heavily on electric motors, almost all of which operate using electric motors. The electric motor is a single-phase or three-phase type with a voltage of 11 KV, 6.6 KV or 400 volts. When all generating units operate, all electric motors that play an essential role will continue to be active so that damage is often caused by operation and service life therefore in the power plant department, and there is an electrical and mechanical maintenance division to maintain the continuity of the power plant operational system. This study's aim 1). Explain about electric motors, 2). Explain the definition of the water jet pump, 3). Explain how the water jet pump works 4). Explain the components used in electric motors and their repair and maintenance.

Abstract

Perkembangan sektor industri saat ini melaju sangat pesat, kebutuhan akan mesin mesin listrik berupa motor listrik sangat dibutuhkan dalam menunjang keberlangsungan produksi. Penggunaan motor listrik di PT. Cemindo Gemilang tentunya mengakibatkan beberapa kendala dengan itu penggunaan pengasutan motor dengan jenis Variable Speed Drive dan Soft Starter diterapkan pada industri cemindo gemilang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengasutan motor jenis variable speed drive (VSD) dan soft starter pada Fan Coller System di PT. Cemindo Gemilang. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengetahui hasil analisis pada penggunaan pengasutan motor, load consumption serta efisiensi penggunaan dari dua jenis pengasutan tersebut dimana pengasutan merupakan sistem untuk menjalankan motor pertama kalo dengan tujuan agar arus starting tetap kecil serta drop tegangan pada sisi suplay masih dalam batas toleransi.
