Abstract

The process of communication for deaf persons needs to be facilitated by a particular language. Friends who are deaf want language that is appropriate for everyday requirements in order to communicate and comprehend communications. The objectives of developing assistive technology for the Indonesian Sign Language System (SIBI) dictionary application are to optimize services, create friendly assistive technology, improve the language skills of students with hearing impairments by utilizing technology, and create an inclusive campus that is friendly for students with special needs. The model used in research and development (RD) is Borg Gall. The development stage of the SIBI dictionary application goes through 10 stages, from collecting vocabulary information to the resulting product in the form of an application embedded on a smartphone. Product testing was carried out in two stages to identify constraints in the application and use of the available features. The population was 17 students with special needs at various semester levels, including eight students with hearing impairments (deaf), students with visual impairment (blind/low vision) as many as eight students, then there is one student with obstacles to the function of mobility. The results of this study are that the SIBI Dictionary Application is a dictionary in the form of sign language videos equipped with sound and text as well as word meanings. The video also has a tutorial. This tool can help hearing-impaired pupils study after utilising a digital dictionary. Increasing hearing-impaired kids' vocabularies (value indicator assessment). Deaf community "GERKATIN" and special education students. Thus, the SIBI Dictionary Application with sign language movies with sound, text, and word definitions can better aid kids with special needs and can be downloaded from smartphone app services. All UNM students receive volunteer instruction from special needs classmates.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan motorik halus anak kelompok B di TK Pertiwi Tunggul 1 peneliti dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya kemampuan motorik halus anak dalam kegiatan kolase,hal ini disebabkan media yang disediakan guru selalu dari bahan kertas cenderung anak bosan ketika melakukan kegiatan.sebab itu peneliti menggunakan media ampas kelapa yang diberi pewarna,sehingga dalam kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak pada kelompok B di TK Pertiwi Tunggul 1.Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan dilaksanakan selama 2 kali tindakan penelitian,subyek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B sebanyak 15 anak terdiri dari 6 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan.tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi,lembar evaluasi,catatan hasil anak.dari hasil penelitian siklus 1 yang mencapai keberhasilan sangat baik 6 anak atau 47% dan pada siklus 2 tuntas 12 anak atau 80% sedangkan belum tuntas 3 anak atau 13%.adapun hasil penelitian melalui kegiatan dengan menggunakan ampas kelapa telah menunjukkan peningkatan meskipun hasil belum maksimal.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of the low numeracy skills of blind students in elementary class III at UPT SLB Negeri 1 Sinjai. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the ability to calculate addition through the use of cubarithm media in blind students in elementary class III. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research presented in the form of a bar chart. The subject of this research was 1 class III blind student. Data collection in this research used written tests in the form of essay questions. The results of the study showed an increase in the ability to calculate addition in blind students in elementary class III at UPT SLB Negeri 1 Sinjai after using cubarithm media. The conclusions of this research are (1) the ability to calculate addition in elementary class III blind students before being given treatment using cubarithm media was in the poor category. (2) the ability to calculate addition in elementary class III blind students after being given treatment using cubarithm media is in the very good category. (3) there is an increase in the ability to calculate addition through the use of cubarithm media in blind students in elementary class III at UPT SLB Negeri 1 Sinjai.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that deaf students in class VIII at SLB B YPPLB Makassar have not been able to calculate multiplications from 6 to 9 correctly. The formulation of this research problem is 1). What is the ability of multiplication calculation operations for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar? 2). How is the application of Jarimatika to improve the ability of multiplication calculation operations for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar? 2). How can the ability to calculate multiplication operations improve for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar? The aim of this research is to determine: 1) The ability of multiplication calculation operations for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar. 2) Application of Jarimatics to improve the ability of multiplication calculation operations for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar. 3) Increasing the ability to calculate multiplication operations for Deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects involved in the research were Deaf students in class VIII at SLB B YPPLB Makassar with the initials BD. The data collection technique was carried out using a written test. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the ability to calculate multiplication operations before and after applying the Jarimati Ka method to students with intellectual disabilities. It was concluded that the results of research on the ability of multiplication calculation operations in Deaf students in class VIII at SLB B YPPLB Makassar through the application of the Jarimatika method showed an increase, namely before the application of the Jarimatika method students were only able to answer 2 questions correctly and after the application of the Jarimatika method students were able to answer 8 questions correctly.
