The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of grade VI students of SDN Sidodadi 04 through the use of modified tools tennis balls in learning to throw bullets sideways. The problem in this research is the lack of learning tools, especially bullet shot tools, which makes the learning process at SDN Sidodadi 04 less effective. Besides that, many students have difficulty understanding and performing the basic movements of the bullet sideways style, so that their participation and learning outcomes are low. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles. The population of this study was class VI students of SDN Sidodadi 04, totalling 15 students. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, as many as 10 students (66.6%) had achieved learning completeness, while 5 students (33.3%) were not yet complete out of a total of 15 students. In cycle II, there was a positive increase, where 13 students (86.7%) achieved learning completeness, while 2 students (13.3%) were still not complete. there was an increase in student learning completeness from 66.6% in cycle I to 86.6% in cycle II. This shows that the modification of learning tools can help students better understand the material and improve their learning results. The results of the study show that 13% of female students strongly agree with their interest in futsal. This means that a small proportion of female students have a strong interest in futsal. 46.2% of female students agree with an interest in futsal. This means that the majority of female students have an interest in futsal, though not strongly. 34% of female students disagree with an interest in futsal. This means that some female students do not have an interest in futsal. 6.8% of female students strongly disagree with an interest in futsal. Strong interest: 28% of female students have a strong interest in futsal (13% strongly agree + 15% of the 46.2% who agree are considered to have a strong interest). However, since there is no further explanation on how the 28% was calculated, it is unclear. No strong interest: 72% of female students do not have a strong interest in futsal (100% - 28%). Based on the interpretation of the data, it can be concluded that the majority of female students (72%) do not have a strong interest in futsal, while only a small proportion of female students (28%) have a strong interest in futsal.

Abstract

The problem underlying this study is that many athletes and students still have difficulty producing hard, fast, and accurate volleyball smashes. This is due to limited leg muscle power, vertical jump height, and movement coordination. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of two plyometric training methods, namely depth jump and jump to box, in improving volleyball smash skills. The method used was a literature review, analyzing ten relevant previous studies from 2015 to 2025. The results of the study showed that both exercises were effective in increasing leg muscle power, vertical jump height, and smash performance. Depth jumps tend to be more optimal for advanced athletes because they require high muscle reactivity, while jump to box is more suitable for beginners because it is safer and emphasizes movement control. The conclusion of this study is that although both are effective, the choice of method must be tailored to the athlete's level. A combination of both exercises is recommended to produce a more comprehensive improvement in smash skills.
