Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dinamika resiliensi remaja yang pernah mengalami kekerasan orang tua, menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi terbentuknya resiliensi tersebut, serta mengetahui dampak yang muncul akibat dari tindak kekerasan yang dialami. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak tiga orang dengan kriteria remaja yang berusia 13 sampai 19 tahun, laki-laki atau perempuan, dan bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja yang pernah menjadi korban kekerasanorang tua bisa bangkit dari keterpurukannya di masa lalu dan hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor protektif dan faktor resiko. Faktor protektif berupa karakteristik individu yang kuat dan mau untuk berubah, relasi dan dukungan sosial yang diperoleh, adanya kegiatan bermanfaat yang dilakukan, suasana kehidupan yang berbeda & lebih nyaman, memilikiminat & bakat, serta memiliki kapasitas untuk belajar. Faktor resiko remaja untuk bisa resiliensi diantaranya kurang adanya kemampuan untuk menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan pelaku kekerasan, belum adanya pemaafan, dan masih ada ketergantungan terhadap masa lalu yang menyakitkan seperti marah, sedih, dan takut ketika teringat tentang kejadian kekerasan yang pernah dialami. Remaja memiliki resiliensi yang terwujud dalam beberapa aspek yaitu remaja memiliki nilai positif dan penilaian yang baik terhadap kehidupan saat ini, perubahan fisik yang lebih baik, memiliki harapan dan bertanggung jawab terhadap kehidupannya sendiri, independent, optimis, memiliki kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah, memiliki impuls kontrol dan efikasi diri, bisa mengambil pelajaran dari kehidupan, realistis terhadap hal-hal baik yangbisa dilakukan, serta memliki rasa syukur.Kata kunci : resiliensi, remaja, kekerasan orang tua

Abstract

Banyaknya berita yang mengandung konten yang tidak wajar di konsumsi oleh anak-anak akhirnya menjadi dasar dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat ini. Pengabdian masyarakat yang berisi pelatihan jurnalistik untuk mewujudkan media ramah anak mengharapkan kedepan anak-anak mengetahui bagaimana sebuah berita yang sering mereka lihat di produksi. Mereka juga dilatih untuk melakukan kegiatan jurnalistik sederhana. Pada pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap orientasi dan pengenalan, Pengenalan jurnalistik untuk anak, praktek jurnalistik untuk anak dan evaluasi. Seluruh tahap dilaksanakan di Masjid Al Hidayah yang diikuti oleh anak-anak TPA usia SD. Setiap kegiatan terlaksana dengan baik dan menghasilkan karya-karya yang dipublikasikan di Majalah Dinding Masjid.[The amount of news that contains inappropriate contents which is consumed by children, become the basis of the implementation of this community service. Community service in the form of journalistic training was aiming to create child-friendly media, in the hopes that in the future, children will know how a news which is they often see is producted. They are also trained to perform simple journalistic activities. This training is conducted through several stages of orientation and introduction, Journalism Introduction for Children, Journalistic Practice for children and evaluation. The whole stage was held at Al Hidayah Mosque which was followed by children of TPA of the elementary school age. Every activity was well executed and produced works published in the Mosque's Wall Magazine.]

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh AMT terhadap optimisme dan efikasi diri pada mahasiswa organisasi di UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Karakteristik sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti organisasi mahasiswa, dipilih mengikuti AMT di Kaliurang, mampu dan mau menjadi peserta aktif pelatihan. Desain pelatihan yang digunakan adalah one-group multiple pre-test—post-test design pada metode quasi eksperimen dengan 25 subyek di kelompok eksperimen selama dua hari pelatihan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala efikasi diri berdasar teori Bandura (1997) dan skala optimisme berdasarkan aspek-aspek menurut Seligman (2001) yang digunakan oleh Aldila (2010) dalam penelitiannya. Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan AMT terhadap efikasi diri (p = 0.145, p > 0.05), namun ada pengaruh yang signifikan AMT terhadap nilai optimisme (p = 0.024, p < 0.05). Kata Kunci: AMT (Achievement Motivation Training), Efikasi diri, Optimisme. ABSTRACT This research aimed to examine the effectivity of AMT to optimism and self-efficacy of organization students in UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Sample characteristic of this study are students who join the internal collage organizational activity, choosed to join AMT at Kaliurang, able and agree to be an active participant of the training. Research design of this study was onegroup multiple pre-test—post-test design on quasi experiment with 25 subjects of experimental group in 2 days training. Data colleted by self-efficacy scale from Bandura’s theory (1997) and optimism scale from Seligman’s aspects (2001) which used by Adila (2010) in her research. There is no significant difference in self-efficacy after the training (p = 0.145, p > 0.05), but there is a significant difference in optimism score aftertraining (p = 0.024, p < 0.05). Abstract

This study aimed to find a training model of the of Islamic character development. The honest character was chosen by the researcher because it was called by the researcher as the root of all goodness in the Sahih Hadith of Rasul SAW. The research method consisted of a literature review and expert assessment. On the first phase, the researcher examined the basic concepts of honest morality according to Imam Al Ghazali. Furthermore the researcher developed the concept through the logoanalysis, behavior modification and character education. On the second phase, the component drafting of of Shidiq Personality Training Module was done. On the third phase, the researcher generated a training module guide for trainers. There were four experts who became the informants of the content validity of the training module. The result of the study was a module with a range of the material including The Importance of Being The Honest Personal, honesty in Intentionand Willingness, honesty insaying, honesty indetermination and ambition, honesty in action, honesty in Worship, Skills To Be Honest: Assertive Communication, Being Example of Honesty and the Reflection of the Honesty and the Diary of the Honesty.  The training activities were divided into two parts that were activities inside the session and activities outsidethe session.

Abstract

The aim of this study is for examining the effectivity of Qur’anic Comprehension Training to the level of the meaning of life in students with divorced parents. The subjects are consist of six people, four women and two men, students of UIN Yogyakarta. Analysis method using Wilcoxon with SPSS 20.0 computer program. To measure the meaning of life using measurement scale, interview and observation. Result of this study is there is an increasing in the meaning of life in subjects after the intervention. Coefficient of difference (Z) between pretest-posttest is -2.207, with significance level (p) 0.027 (p<0.5) in individual analysis and group analysis. Thus, Qur’anic comprehension training proved can increase the meaning of life in students with divorced parents.

Abstract

Elderly happiness can be influenced by the religious factor. Participation in religious activities is also an important factor to improve elderly happiness. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of Dzikir Relaxation Training to increase happiness at derelict elderly social services home Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. The hypothesis of this research is Dzikir Relaxation Training can increase elder happiness at derelict elderly social services home Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. The participants of this research were 10 elders who are 61-86 years old and have low until a medium score of happiness. This research uses one group pre-test post-test design. Data were collected using the Likert scale made by the researchers. The intervention consists of three sessions with 60 minutes for every session. Data were analyzed by Friedman’s technique through SPSS (version). Data analysis shows score Chi-square 15.80 (p<0.0001), it is indicated the dzikir relaxation training to improve elderly happiness.      Kebahagiaan lansia salah satunya dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor agama. Partisipasi dalam kegiatan keagamaan juga menjadi faktor penting untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan lanjut usia (lansia). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh relaksasi dzikir dalam meningkatkan kebahagiaan lansia di Rumah Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia Terlantar (RPSLUT) Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pelatihan relaksasi dzikir mampu meningkatkan kebahagiaan lansia di Rumah Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia Terlantar Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang lanjut usia yang berusia antara 61-86 tahun dan memiliki skor kebahagiaan dalam tingkat sedang hingga rendah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pre-test post-test. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert yang disusun oleh peneliti. Intervensi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga sesi dengan waktu 60 menit setiap sesinya. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik Friedman’s test untuk menguji perbedaan skor antara pre-test, post-tes dan follow up. Hasil analisis menunjukkan skor Chi-square sebesar 15.80 (p<.0001) mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan relaksasi dzikir terbukti dapat meningkatkan kebahagiaan lansia.

Abstract

College students who memorize al-qur’an are expected to have high self-efficacy because memorizing al-qur’an requires a long process and takes a long time. This study aims to explore and to understand self-efficacy of college students who memorize al-qur’an and to explore what factors influence their self-efficacy. This qualitative research used phenomenological approach with three participants. The data analysis used is an explication technique. The results showed three participants have strong self-efficacy. The three participants interpret the process they need to face during memorizing Al-Qur’an and following academic schedule as a challenge that must be completed. They managed their activities well, as well as they have successfully mastered various tasks. One participant focused on maximizing the process of memorizing al-qur’an and following academic schedule, while two other participants were maximizing their process in memorizing al-qur’an, following the lecture and also joining the organization. Three participants have also good confidence in their own ability to complete their target in memorizing al-qur’an and their study as well. Factors that influenced their self-efficacy are included their previous achievements, motivation to seek knowledge and emulating the success of others, and parental support. Mahasiswa yang menghafal al-qur’an diharapkan memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi karena menghafal al-qur’an membutuhkan proses yang panjang dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan memahami efikasi diri mahasiswa penghafal al-qur’an serta menggali faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi efikasi diri mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan tiga partisipan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik eksplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga partisipan memiliki efikasi diri yang kuat. Ketiga partisipan memaknai proses yang harus mereka hadapi selama menghafal al-qur’an dan mengikuti jadwal akademik sebagai tantangan yang harus diselesaikan. Mereka mengatur kegiatannya dengan baik, mereka berhasil menguasai berbagai tugas. Satu partisipan fokus memaksimalkan proses menghafal al-qur’an dan mengikuti perkuliahan, sedangkan dua peserta lainnya memaksimalkan proses menghafal al-qur’an, mengikuti perkuliahan dan juga berorganisasi. Tiga partisipan juga percaya diri dengan kemampuan mereka sendiri untuk menyelesaikan target mereka dalam menghafal al-qur'an dan studi mereka. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efikasi diri mereka meliputi prestasi sebelumnya yang telah diraih, motivasi mencari ilmu dan meniru keberhasilan orang lain, dan dukungan orang tua.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of dhikr relaxation in reducing anxiety and increasing happiness in college students. The subjects were 16 students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga aged 19-23 years. There were 2 hypotheses in this research. This research method was conducted by using quasi-experimental with a pretest and posttest control group design. Data collection tools were the HARS scale (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale), the OHQ scale (The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire), and Nexus Biofeedback. The data analysis used the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results of the first study showed that there was a difference in the anxiety score between the control group and the experimental group that took part in dhikr relaxation therapy, where the experimental group's score was greater than the control group's score as evidenced by the sig. of 0.005 (p<0.05). The results of the second study showed that there was no difference in the happiness score between the control group and the experimental group that took part in dhikr relaxation therapy, where the experimental group's score was greater than the control group's score as evidenced by the sig value. of 0.161 (p>0.05). The results of the analysis using the Nexus Biofeedback tool showed the sig. 0.028 (p<0.05). It can be concluded that dhikr relaxation was effective in reducing anxiety as indicated by a decrease in respiration frequency using the Nexus Biofeedback tool. However, dhikr relaxation has not been effective in increasing students’ happiness.

Abstract

Families (caregivers) of patients with chronic illness should ideally have high subjective well-being to care for chronic illness patients well. In reality, they cry frequently, look pensive, and have difficulty carrying out daily activities. This quasi-experimental study aims to examine the effect of forgiveness therapy on increasing the subjective well-being of families (caregivers) of patients with chronic illness. There were 11 participants (3 males and 9 females) divided into two groups, i.e., the treatment group consisting of 6 persons (1 male and 5 females) and the control group consisting of 5 persons (2 males and 3 females) who have looked after the patients with chronic illness for 2–8 years. The subjective well-being was measured by the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). The data were then analyzed using Mann-Whitney to compare means. The results showed differences in subjective well-being between the treatment and control groups. The results showed that forgiveness therapy has effectively improved subjective well-being in families or patients with chronic illness. Based on the results, the researcher suggested that forgiveness therapy can be used to provide psychological interventions to families of patients with chronic illnesses. Families still need support to optimize and stabilize the patient’s health condition

Abstract

Students who are working on a thesis include individuals who are vulnerable to experiencing mental disorders due to the heavy burden and demands of the thesis. In facing these challenges, students need resilience skills to complete the thesis process successfully. This correlational study aims to determine the relationship between faith and resilience in students completing a thesis, with positive thinking as a mediator. The subjects of this research were undergraduate students at universities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta who were preparing a thesis with a study period of more than 7 semesters, totaling 99 respondents. In this study, three scales were used: the scale of faith, whose aspects were taken from Al Banna, with a reliability coefficient of 0.927; the positive thinking scale, which refers to the aspects of Albercht's opinion, with a reliability coefficient of 0.949, and the resilience scale, which refers to the aspects of Grotberg, with a reliability coefficient of 0.944. Hypothesis testing was conducted using mediation regression analysis with the Jamovi program (version 2.3). The results showed that aqeedah (faith) positively affected positive thinking in students completing their thesis. Positive thinking had a significant positive effect on resilience. Directly, aqeedah positively affected resilience, indicating that positive thinking could partially mediate the relationship between faith and resilience.
