Abstract

In software development activities one of the stages that need to be known by the project manager and the client is the estimated effort. The estimation activity is used as a reference in determining the time and personnel involved in software development. There are several methods used in software estimation such as Function Point, COCOMO, and Use Case Point. However, there are still some shortcomings such as the subjective tendency to measure complexity and lack of calculation on technical factors and environmental factors. The estimation used in this study uses the Use Case Size Point method which is the development of the Use Case Point method. The results of the Use Case size Point were used to provide a more accurate evaluation of effort with 0.01 Mean Magnitude of Relative Error (MMRE) and 0.01 Mean Magnitude of Relative Error (MMER)

Abstract

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector during the COVID-19 pandemic has various problems. For example, the decline in sales, capital, hampered distribution, the difficulty of raw materials. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors have also changed their marketing orientation due to the pandemic, many of The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors have turned to electronic commerce (e-commerce) to increase sales but this is not supported by the ability of The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors who tend to be low in using technology. This service aims to provide understanding and skills for The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Sumbersari Village, Saradan District, Kab. Madiun regarding the use of social media as an effective and efficient means of selling/promoting products as well as providing assistance in utilizing various internet-based market places as a means of selling products. This activity uses a contextual approach method, namely providing theoretical material first and followed by a workshop directly uploading the products produced by The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises  (MSME) actors in Sumbersari Village. The result of this activity is the understanding of partners about marketing through social media; able to create a shop on the marketplace and promote it through social media independently

Abstract

UMKM merupakan salah satu penopang perekonomian Indonesia, melalui UMKM semua aspek yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan manusia bersumber. Desa Kajang merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Sawahan Kabupaten Madiun. Desa Kajang memiliki beberapa produk unggulan UMKM yaitu molen, keripik tempe, untir-untir, kue kacang dan sambel pecel. Saat ini proses pemasaran produk UMKM masih dilakukan dengan cara konvensional yaitu melalui pasar desa dan pameran produk UMKM yang diadakan pemerintah Kabupaten Madiun. Strategi konvensional ini menjadi salah satu kendala dalam memasarkan sehingga produk UMKM Desa Kajang menjadi kurang dikenal secara luas. Berdasarkan kondisi diatas maka tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah membuat website UMKM Desa Kajang dan memberikan pelatihan administrator website untuk mengoptimalkan pemasaran produk UMKM. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan diatas 60% mampu menggunakan fitur-fitur yang dimiliki oleh website UMKM Kajang

Abstract

In line with the development of an increasingly advanced era, humans also expect a tool or technology that can help and facilitate in carrying out daily work. The technology developed varies according to the desired field. Both in the fields of education, communication, health and even in the fields of agriculture and food. One application of technology that can meet human needs in the field of food and agriculture is an automatic plant watering system. This system is designed to replace manual work to become automatic when watering plants. The expected benefit of this system is that the system can facilitate human work in watering plants so that it is more effective and efficient. This system consists of a Soil Moisture Sensor, Arduino Uno Microcontroller, Riley Driver, Pompa Air and LCD. The Soil Moisture Sensor system will be used to detect soil moisture. After reading the soil moisture value, the data will be sent to Arduino Uno, then Arduino will give an order to turn on/off the relay driver. Then the Relay Driver will set the conditions so that the pump can automatically water the water according to the needs of the plants. The results of this study indicate that the system works well, where the readable data will be displayed on the LCD. The automatic plant sprinkler system can work well to automatically water the plants when the soil moisture reading is below 60%

Abstract

The importance of digital security awareness is not only related to privacy protection but also includes responsible use, protection from cyberbullying, and understanding the consequences of online actions. In primary and secondary schools, understanding regarding cyber security awareness is still lacking; students must realize that what they do in the digital world can have long-term impacts on their real lives. An introduction and understanding of digital security awareness need to be given to elementary and junior high school students. This study intended to provide a vehicle (learning tool) and introduce cyber security awareness using interactive games. By using the Moodle platform and the H5P plugin to make games more interactive, interesting, effective, and efficient. This activity was carried out using the RnD method. With the RnD method, the development of awareness and the many ways to protect oneself on the internet can be developed significantly, according to the level of understanding of students Game platform development uses a Moodle-based learning management system. Then do the customization using H5P. Meanwhile, games are developed by taking into account cyber security awareness indicators. Game applications that are compiled can run well. The trial was conducted on 4 elementary schools and 4 junior high schools. During the trial, the platform's reliability can run smoothly when accessed by users. There were no obstacles in using games by the user during the trial. User features related to achievement badges, as an indication of the level of play each player can achieve responsively. Interactive games about cyber security awareness can be formed and run according to the design set. The contribution of this research is to increase students' understanding of internet safety awareness through interactive games and to increase students' knowledge about how to protect themselves while surfing the internet through interactive games.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food consumed by Indonesian people, even 75% of the world's population consumes rice and it is mostly found in Asia. Rice derived from pounded rice is a staple food so it can be consumed. In the process of planting rice, pests and diseases are not spared so that it can affect crop yields. Pest and disease attacks need fast, accurate and precise handling so that crop failures. In this paper, we will discuss the classification of leaf diseases of rice plants using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNNN) algorithm, especially the Alexnet architecture. There are 4 types of disease, namely Brown spot, Leafblast, Hispa and Healthy. Models built based on the Alexnet architecture may have differences in the level of accuracy and loss compared to other architectures due to the different stages in the sequential model formation. The dataset used is public data from Kaggle consisting of 4 classes with a total of 1,600 images. In each class the dataset is divided for training, testing and validation datasets with a ratio of 70:20:10. As for tools in the process of training datasets using Google Colab from Google. After going through the stages of the research, the research results obtained are accuracy worth 99,22%, mean average precision worth 0,24 and loss worth 0,05.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan manfaat positif, namun juga dapat membawa dampak negatif. Maraknya kasus kejahatan digital diperlukan adanya suatu upaya preventif, salah satu diantaranya dengan memberikan pelatihan mengenai kesadaran keamanan siber sedini mungkin. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyakarat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yaitu dengan memberikan pendampingan secara langsung kepada para murid. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi literasi digital mengenai kesadaran keamanan siber kepada siswa siswi di SDN 01 Pandean Kota Madiun. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para murid begitu antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital utamanya mengenai keamanan siber.

Abstract

Scientific publications in the form of scientific journals are one way for researchers to share information related to the results of research that has been done, besides that scientific publications can also be used to build the reputation of researchers both in the academic and research fields. However, there is a danger of publication which until now has not been known by novice researchers who have just entered the world of scientific publications, namely publication in predatory journals. This is an important thing that needs to be known well and also must be watched out for by novice researchers. This is because predatory journals are scientific journals that are not of good quality, where the journals that are managed are only for financial gain through expensive publication fees and do not pay attention to aspects of research quality and also a good peer review process in good governance. scientific journals. In researching and writing this journal, researchers discuss some of the dangers associated with publishing predatory journals for researchers in terms of decreasing academic reputation, publication costs and also falsification of research data published in a predatory journal. In addition, researchers also look at the specific and clear characteristics of journals that can be categorized as predatory journals.

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) training aims to increase students' knowledge of working in the laboratory, identify potential hazards, and take early action if a hazard occurs in the laboratory. The target audience for this activity is class X students majoring in multimedia at SMK Cendekia, Madiun. This training was conducted in the Chemical Engineering Laboratory, Departemen of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun. The methods used in the training are lectures, discussions, and practice in the chemistry laboratory. The data obtained from the K3 knowledge questionnaire before and after the training were analyzed descriptively. The results obtained show an increase in the average score of students from 46 to 67, which means that there is an increase in knowledge about OSH in the chemistry laboratory.

Abstract

The location of new branches that are close to community activities and have adequate facilities makes it easier for consumers to get the services and products they need. Determining the feasibility of new branch locations from several product or service producers still uses a system that is not accurate, which can cause problems in determining the location of new strategic and targeted branches. However, there are several obstacles in the selection of new branch locations, so technological assistance is needed in determining the location, product analysis, marketing management, and other matters concerning the development of the business being carried out. Technology that is considered efficient, easy, and flexible and is used by entrepreneurs, especially in determining the location of new branches using a decision support system using the MAUT method, is expected to help the location of new branches that are efficient and strategic. The decision support system is a conclusion and determination of the best using some data and computerized testing in each criterion so as to get valid results. After calculating each criterion and alternative, the best ranking is obtained in alternative A1 with a value of 0.7925 on Pertahanan Street.
