Abstract

Tanaman padi tersebar luas di seluruh dunia dan tumbuh di hampir semua bagian dunia yang memiliki cukup air dan suhu udara cukup hangat. Hampir setengah dari penduduk dunia terutama dari negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia sebagian besar menjadikan padi sebagai makanan pokok.Alat pengemas padi kering secara mekanik merupakan sebuah alat yang dirancang untuk lebih memudahkan pekerjaan petani yang sedang melakukan pengemasan padi kering. Caranya padi dikumpulkan menjadi satu disalah satu sisi lahan penjemuran, lalu petani mengambil padi dengan piring dan memasukkannya ke dalam karung. Dari cara tradisional tersebut terdapat banyak kelemahan dan banyak resiko yang ditimbulkan seperti resiko cidera, waktu yang relatif lama, dan hanya orang yang tenaganya kuat yang bisa mengoperasikannya. Dari keluhan tersebut perlu dibuat sebuah alat bantu yang inovatif untuk memasukkan padi kering ke dalam karung secara mekanik karena agar dapat mempermudah para petani dalam proses pengemasan padi.Berdasarkan penjabaran diatas didapatkan tujuan untuk membuat atau mengembangkan produk alat pengemas padi kering yang lebih praktis, efisien, dan mempunyai kapasitas lebih besar. Alat pengemas padi kering secara mekanik ini menggunakan metode design for assembly (DFA). Metode DFA merupakan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam menentukan rancangan produk dengan waktu dan biaya yang optimum. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan produk alat pengemas padi kering secara manual inovasi yang relatif murah dari produk sebelumnya dengan selisih Rp. 310.900,00. Dari segi produktivitas produk inovasi mengalami peningkatan dibuktikan dengan rata-rata waktu proses kerja memasukkan gabah ke dalam karung mengalami penurunan sebesar 49,15%.

Abstract

Produk yang baik merupakan produk yang bisa dibuat berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi dikalangan masyarakat dengan berbagai macam tujuan seperti keamanan, kenyamanan dan kegunaan sehingga membuat produk tersebut bernilai lebih. Teknologi banyak membantu peneliti untuk mendesain dan mengembangankan suatu produk, hal ini bisa dibuktikan dengan banyaknya inovasi dan penemuan yang sederhana hingga yang rumit. Penelitian ini sebelumnya juga didasari dari hasil wawancara beberapa warga Medokanayu yang menginginkan produk penjemur pakaian portable anti hujan yang dapat membantu mempermudah pengeringan pakaian, yang sebelumnya warga tidak memilikinya atau sesuatu hal baru bagi warga. Penjemur pakaian portable anti hujan ini dirancang menggunakan metode design for assembly (DFA) dan Pahl And Beitz. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk penjemur pakaian portable anti hujan yang nantinya bisa digunakan sebagai pilihan lain untuk desain pengembangan produk penjemur anti hujan.

Abstract

Ketatnya persaingan serta kondisi pasar yang kompetitif dan dinamis membuat setiap perusahaan harus selalu memperhatikan persaingan dan cerdas dalam menganalisa pasar. Sakinah Supermarket merupakan salah satu perusahaan ritel yang berkedudukan di Surabaya. Sering terjadinya penumpukan dan penataan produk yang kurang tepat membuat banyaknya keluhan konsumen kesulitan dalam mencari produk. Permasalahan tersebut membuat penataan ulang layout rak supermarket perlu dilakukan dalam penempatan produk untuk menentukan strategi penjualan. Pendekatan Association rules metode Market Basket Analysis (MBA) dan Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) diajukan untuk menentukan pertimbangan layout. Menempatkan produk pada tata letak yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen dan memberikan rekomendasi atau respon teknis kepada pihak supermarket dalam hal pelayanan konsumen menjadi tujuan utama. Hasil didapat usulan tata letak supermarket baru berdasarkan asosiasi antar kategori produk. Hal ini memungkinkan penjual untuk mengelompokkan produk berdasarkan kebiasaan pola pembelian konsumen, mengurangi waktu pencarian, dan kemudian menciptakan daya tarik yang kuat untuk konsumen. Association rules memberikan perbedaan secara kompetitif dalam ritel dengan menghadirkan solusi tata letak toko ritel yang lebih menguntungkan. Informasi yang didapat mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dalam pemasaran ritel. Pelanggan lebih bahagia karena mereka menemukan apa yang dibutuhkan, sedangkan penjual dapat memaksimalkan keuntungan.

Abstract

Kegiatan bike sharing adalah fenomena yang sedang berlangsung dan menjadi tren sebagai fasilitas institusi untuk menunjang mobilitas bagi civitas akademik dalam berbagai kebutuhan akademik dalam kampus. Tujuan dari perancangan ini untuk merancang sepeda listrik bela negara yang ergonomis untuk sarana penunjang mobilitas kampus UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Metode yang dipilih yaitu metode QFD (Quality Functiion Deployment). QFD digunakanluntuk membantu perancangan memusatkan perhatian pada kebutuhan para konsumen ketika menyusunlspesifikasi desain dan fabrikasi. Hasil dari pengolahan data QFD didapatkan prioritas kebutuhan konsumen yaitu : Bahan produk yang kuat (0,220); desain produk yang menarik (0,194); bentuk produk yang sesuai keinginan (0,149); dan fungsi sesuai kebutuhan (0,108). %). Dan hasil perhitungan antropometri yaitu : lebar handle bar sepeda listrik : 9 cm; tinggi pijakan sepeda listrik : 21 cm; lebar steer pada sepeda listrik : 64 cm; lebar sadel pada sepeda listrik : 20 cm; tinggi sadel pada sepeda listrik : 70 cm; jarak sadel menuju steer pada sepeda listrik : 60 cm; lebar pijakan kaki pada sepeda listrik :10 cm

Abstract

This research aim to solve the problem of ergonomic standart in the process of making an upper shoes by implementing Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). This method is suitable to solve job body posture problem of the worker of PT XYZ based in Sidoarjo. PT XYZ is an international company and one of the expantion company from Denmark, they produce high quality shoes with more than 7000 workers. There are several plaint from the worker that they had a featigue in some part of te body. REBA assess the score from the top of the body to the bottom of the body and giving report are report of the posture risk. By using this method, the solution can be found with giving the right posture of the worker body while working their duty. The result of the research are confirmed to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) the posture need an improvement by changing the moves of trunk, upper arm, and wrist. Reba score are known in 6 and it’s increasing to 3 after the improvement.

Abstract

This study analyzed the initial symptoms of fatigue and measured the level of fatigue with the subjective self rating test method as the subjective method, the CVL (Cardiovascular Load) method as the objective, and the independent sample t test at the Plaza Surabaya sports station. shop. Shift work in the workshop has the potential to pose health risks in the form of fatigue due to differences in physical workload experienced in each shift. Sports Station Plaza Surabaya outlets face work activity problems that are at risk of ergonomics, with several worker complaints due to work shifts that only do rotating shifts per month and unclear employee jobdesk placements. The Subjective Self Rating Test method is used to identify early symptoms of employee fatigue by filling out a questionnaire, the CVL method is used to measure pulse to obtain the level of physical workload fatigue experienced by employees. While the independent sample t test test is to find out whether there is a significant difference in the level of shift fatigue at the Sports Station Plaza Surabaya store. get the highest classification value in shift 1, for the independent t test test method get a significance value of 0.01 which means there is a significant difference in the level of worker fatigue in shift 1 and shift 2.

Abstract

PT XYZ is an airport manager in Indonesia engaged in the business of development, trade and services, and genuine estate. In the manual transportation of goods, extreme positions are still carried out. So that complaints of pain appear in several parts of the body, such as the neck, back, upper arms, and legs. The purpose of this study was to determine musculoskeletal complaints and analyze the work posture of workers. Risk assessment using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method because it can provide a more detailed evaluation of the level of risk of work posture as a whole. Based on the results of risk assessment research using the REBA method, workers in the Loading-Unloading Apron Area squatting position get a work posture risk value of 9, and the Apron Area standing position gets a work posture risk value of 8, where the value includes action level 4. For workers in the Loading-Unloading Makeup Area, the bending position gets a work posture risk value of 11, where the value consists of action level 4. Suggestions for improvement that can be proposed are making changes to the position of work postures and designing assistive devices.

Abstract

PT Harapan Sejahtera Karya Utama is a company engaged in the plastic industry, especially polypropylene. This company has been distributed to companies in East Java. Four workstations still do not apply ergonomic work postures in the production process. This research aims to determine the action level value of the REBA score and design an ergonomic work posture. From the research that has been done, it was found from the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire that 58% of workers have pain in the back, and 47% have pain in the waist. Related to the REBA scoring results, in the process of checking raw materials, the process of cutting materials, and packaging, the REBA score of 5 was obtained, which is a medium risk with an action level of 2. the process of transfer materials obtains the REBA score of 11, which is a very high-risk with an action level value of 4. Based on the REBA score, a proposal was made to improve the working posture of workers in the polypropylene production division, the process of checking raw materials, the process of cutting materials and packaging, and obtained a REBA score of 2 out of 5, where this value is better than the initial work posture score. For the material transfer process, the REBA score is 3 out of 11, where this value is better than the initial work posture score. Related to this, the company should pay attention to the safety and health of employees when doing a job, such as the optimal work posture at work.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the workload and level of fatigue received by workers and determine the relationship between the two. The method used is %CVL to classify workload through the worker's pulse and the SSRT questionnaire to measure the level of worker fatigue through subjective assessment. Measurements of workload and fatigue levels were carried out on 30 respondents. This research is expected to contribute to improving the influence of workload to make it more ergonomic and help Toko Surya Baru Surabaya control the risk of health problems caused by ergonomic factors. By identifying the problem of employee work fatigue, Toko Surya Baru Surabaya can implement work improvement proposals to overcome employee fatigue that are more ergonomic to improve employee comfort and health.

Abstract

One of the key factors that influence the success of a business is product quality, in addition to other factors such as price, promotion and service. Only products with high quality are able to compete effectively in the midst of intense competition. PT Saprotan Utama has implemented various quality control measures to ensure product standards are met. However, some constraints in the production process still cause the product to not meet the predetermined quality standards. This applied study aims to evaluate the level of quality control at PT Saprotan Utama by applying the Total Quality Control (TQC) method. The data used in this applied study is the company's historical data from the period May to September 2024. The results of the study show that there are two types of product defects, namely damage to the zak totaling 216,170 units and damage to the zak accompanied by open seams totaling 9,425 units. The results of the analysis using the p-control map show that some fertilizer products do not meet the statistical control criteria because the value of the proportion of defects is outside the upper control limit (UCL) of 0.009 and the lower control limit (LCL) of 0.003. This indicates that the quality control of fertilizer products is not optimal and the product defect rate is still relatively high. Factors that may cause product defects include human factors, machines, methods, and the environment. These factors need to be further studied to minimize product defects.
