Abstract

The high level of defects in feed production, especially related to particle size (particle out of standard) is the main focus of this research because it has a significant impact on the quality of the final product and customer satisfaction. To overcome these problems, this research uses the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method to identify the root causes of the problem, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to determine risk priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value, and the 5W+1H approach to provide implementable improvement proposals for the factors that cause defects. The results show that the dominant defect is caused by the clogged boiler duct factor with an RPN value of 200 which is the top priority in improvement efforts. The proposed improvement recommendations include conducting routine inspection and cleaning of boiler lines, as well as creating a checklist and cleaning schedule to ensure boiler lines remain clean and free from blockages. The implementation of this strategy is expected to reduce the level of defects so as to improve the efficiency of the production process and support the company's competitiveness in the animal feed industry.

Abstract

Purabaya Type A Terminal is one of the terminals that provides public transportation facilities in the form of bus transportation ranging from city buses, intra-provincial intercity buses, and inter-city inter-provincial buses. This study aims to analyze the level of passenger satisfaction with the service at the terminal and group each variable into a homogeneous group. The research methods used are the K-means Cluster and Hierarchial Cluster methods. The data from the questionnaire will be grouped into several groups that have relatively homogeneous properties using the help of SPSS software. From the results of the study, the output of Non-Hierarchial clusters was obtained in the form of Initial Cluster Centers, Iteration History, Final Cluster Centers, ANOVA, and Number of Cased In Each Cluster. Meanwhile, the output of the Hierarchial cluster is in the form of Case Processing Summary and Dendogram Using Average Linkage. Through analysis using the cluster method, all variables were obtained including in cluster 1 and none were included in cluster 2, the iterations carried out were 2 times and the valid data value was 100 data with a missing value of 0.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted by the author is to evaluate how the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method is used as a strategic step to find potential hazards and reduce the risk of work accidents at work at height, especially in the elevator lift cable replacement task at PT XYZ. JSA is used to analyze work steps, find hazards, and provide effective risk control solutions. This study shows that proper implementation of JSA can reduce work accidents by 40%, increase workers' awareness of risks, and create a safer work environment. This research uses a risk matrix to identify various risks classified by their likelihood and consequence levels. Qualitative analysis method was used in this study. The results show that most work activities have a high to very high level of risk, and the use of appropriate (PPE) and increased compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) are needed to control them. This research provides practical advice on how to reduce the risk of occupational accidents to employees at PT XYZ.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that assembles bicycles. The company's problem is that there is excess capacity in the warehouse owned by PT. XYZ. Overcapacity occurs when the number of incoming goods exceeds the optimal capacity of the warehouse. The purpose of this study is to identify the cause of overcapacity in the warehouse of PT. XYZ's warehouse and to find a solution to the problem in order to prevent similar incidents in the future. The method used is root cause analysis and the tools used are fishbone diagram and 5-why analysis. The results of the study using the fishbone diagram show that there are four aspects that are the root causes, namely errors in purchasing planning (man), excessive use of pallets (method), accumulation of bicycle spare parts (material), use of warehouse capacity that is not optimal (environment). Each of these aspects has a known trigger root after applying the 5-why analysis. Once the triggers of each problem are known, the preparation of corrective actions, which are solutions, is accompanied by the company's commitment to implement the solution in order to prevent problems that have the potential to recur.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is one of the programs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology that focuses on teaching activities that open up opportunities for students to dedicate their skills and knowledge in helping students in elementary and junior high schools, especially in underdeveloped areas. Based on data from the Ministry of Education and Culture, there are still many schools in underdeveloped areas that need teacher assistance to improve literacy and numeracy skills that are still low. The Kampus Mengajar program is implemented at SMP PSM Taji Magetan. Kampus Mengajar focuses on 3 things, namely improving literacy and numeracy, technology adaptation, and school administration. The results of the Kampus Mengajar work program are progress in literacy and numeracy, technological progress, and efficiency of school administration.

Abstract

Manajemen stok yang efektif di warehouse PT X menjadi kunci dalam menjaga ketersediaan spare parts, mendukung operasional perusahaan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab utama ketidaksesuaian tersebut serta mengusulkan strategi perbaikan menggunakan pendekatan PDCA dan metode Kaizen yaitu analisis 5M checklist dan implementasi 5S movement. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama Pra Stock Opname Tahunan melalui pengamatan langsung, wawancara, analisis variansi data, dan evaluasi operasional. Hasil menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian stok disebabkan oleh kesalahan manusia, gangguan teknis, dan kurangnya standar operasional untuk barang khusus. Implementasi strategi perbaikan pada Stock Opname Tahunan 2024 meningkatkan akurasi data sehingga bernilai 99,97% dan mengurangi pencatatan manual. Gerakan 5S mempercepat pencarian barang hingga 30% dengan lingkungan kerja yang lebih terorganisasi. Penelitian ini membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan PDCA dan Kaizen dalam meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen stok.Kata Kunci:  Kaizen, Manajemen Stok, PDCA, Pergudangan.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in steel fabrication, and there are several issues related to the production system of the PT Metso project that are known to be the source of bottlenecks at certain workstations, causing material flow on the production line to be impeded.  This research will discuss the calculation of standard time and identify bottlenecks at several workstations. The application of the theory of constraints that can help identify and control the sources of constraints with several objectives such as maximizing throughput and creating detailed calculations of time buffers and Drum Buffer Rope maps to address issues. Then an analysis was conducted using a fishbone diagram and the Five-M Analysis method to determine the causes that occurred. Based on the calculations that have been made for the company's capacity and capability, a rescheduling of the Spray Bar production process has been carried out with an additional working time of 19 hours divided into 2.5 hours per working day. It is known that the bottleneck workstation is located at the Fit-up/Setting workstation with a percentage of 133%. To reduce this bottleneck, the company provides buffer time or time that serves as a cushion with the aim of protecting the production rate (throughput) Before the bottleneck workstation, it took 19.5 hours, and after the bottleneck workstation, it took 2.2 hours.

Abstract

Access by KAI adalah sebuah upaya PT KAI dalam memfasilitasi pengguna kereta api di Indonesia yang dapat membantu para pengguna untuk melakukan transaksi pembelian tiket kereta api, pembatalan keberangkatan, pengecekan jadwal kereta api, hingga melakukan pemesanan makanan pada saat melakukan perjalanan dan sebagainya. Namun, pada praktiknya pengguna masih mengalami banyak kelemahan dari aplikasi seperti performa yang buruk, kegagalan dalam bertransaksi, sampai permasalahan pada user experience yang dimiliki oleh aplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerimaan pengguna dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengguna dalam bertransaksi menggunakan aplikasi Access by KAI. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) dengan memodifikasi model berupa penambahan Trust sebagai konstruk tambahan pada model. Responden penelitian ini adalah pengguna aplikasi dan telah bertransaksi paling sedikit satu kali. Metode pengolahan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan pengaplikasian PLS-SEM dibantu oleh aplikasi SmartPLS versi 4. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan pengguna aplikasi Access by KAI kota Surabaya berada pada tingkat sedang dengan 3 dari 6 hipotesis yang ditolak. Adapun Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Condition berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi Access by KAI. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi konsiderasi pada pemangku kepentingan terutama pihak PT KAI dalam meningkatkan dan mengefektifkan penggunaan aplikasi sehingga manfaat yang didapatkan lebih substansial.

Abstract

Cafe XYZ adalah salah satu cafe yang beda daripada cafe lainnya dan memiliki keunggulan dalam hal peracik kopi (barista) yang membuat kopi dan dapat dilihat langsung cara pengolahanya. Namun, akhir- akhir ini terdapat keluhan pelanggan yaitu penanganan penyajian kopi kurang cepat dan tidak lengkapnya ketersediaan biji kopi. Maka, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pelanggan pengunjung Cafe XYZ dan usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, maka dilakukan pengukuran tingkat kepuasan pelayanan Cafe XYZ dengan metode Servqual dan Triz. Dimensi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empaty. Dan metode Triz ((Theoryof Inventive Problem Solving) metode ini digunakan untuk membangkitkan inovasi ide dan solusi untuk pemecahan masalah. Kuesioner dibagi kepada 56 responden pengunjung Cafe XYZ dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik sampling proposive. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan 84,17% sangat puas akan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Cafe XYZ, namun masih perlu melakukan perbaikan kualitas karena dalam perhitungan nilai Servqual gap keseluruhan masih menunjukkan nilai negatif -0,104 terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Cafe XYZ.

Abstract

UD. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi spare part otomotif, aksesoris sepeda motor dan juga alat bantu pertanian. UD. XYZ memiliki lini proses yang memproduksi standar paddock untuk sepeda motor tipe sport. Pada lini produksi paddock sering terjadi bottleneck pada proses pengerolan pipa dan proses pengecatan sehingga mengaki-batkan ada beberapa work station yang mengalami idle time yang signifikan dalam setiap proses produksi yang dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini adalah Larg-est Candidate Rule, Killbridge and Western Method, dan Ranked Positional Weights sebagai metode pembanding. Dengan menghasilkan metode yang paling optimal adalah metode Largest Candidate Rule yang menghasilkan line efficiency 85,04%, balance delay sebesar 19,94%, dan smoothnes index 1,8239 dengan jumlah operator sebanyak 6 orang.
